Does anyone know why Bill notices hands first when he meets a girl? and is it sad that i want to stop biting my nails now? :?

Maybe he should consider being a bit more lenient about the hand/nail thing. Not everyone can have the BA nails that he does. (Especially if you're a guitar player).
I LOVE short nails, I wouldn't grow them for Bill!

I once talked to a guy that also notices hands first and he told me that it's important to him cause it's shows how aesthetic the person is, claiming the an unaesthetic person would never pay attention to their hands...maybe it's the same case with Bill... :roll:

No, but seriously, to some people, ugly nails are a big turn-off!
But I think he just wants a girl that takes care of herself and makes sure she is clean. It doesn't matter if the nails are long or short, as long as they're clean and taken care of. I think he meant that.
I just think it's just like this..I mean...like other boys have a "something" with boobs or butt or other usual and stupid stuff, :x Bill has it on the hands and the eyes...I find it much more kind and sweet and special! :)
He is not the appearance boy,he's proved it,hasn't he?
And that is so good.It just has to click,as Tom says,he will just know when she stays in front of him...and I don't think that he wouldn't be with a girl that does not have beautiful hands..it's just something he likes...if he really fell for her,it won't matter to him...for example I like blond boys..always,every boy I likes was blond or brown haired with blue eyes,ALWAYS!!!But look now,Bill is the ecception and the biggest love of all! :roll:
i like hands too.....i notice it alot on a guy...cause sometimes guys can be dirty and disguisting....and i want someone who can take care of themselfs.....for me....i always had a crush for a guy with deep brown hair and deep brown eyes....similiar to bill, but he has dyed black hair.....but i still love him! :lol: :D

It's because he's not a scummy pervert. I swear, why is it so hard for a guy to look you in the eye when your talking, but it's easy to look up & down.

He doesn't like hands but the first thing he notices to a girl are her hands 'cos he wants to see if she cares about her appearance (I don't know how to explain it, I hope you got it.)
For me, hands and teeth are the most important things about our appearance and we should keep them clean and nice. Can you imagine a boy with dirty yellow teeth or tough and discusting hands??? NO WAY!!!!
I used to bite my nails. I gived up because Bill hates girls biting their nails. :D

I wonder...what if he fell for a girl...very much...but had not seen her hands yet...and then,after he "stucks" with her,he sees them and they're like,from the worst hands he's ever seen in his life....what wud he do?i think....nothing....if he really supports the idea of falling in love with someone's peronality...then he'd definitely do nothing!
And imagine if her feet was 42 number! :D
He'd break up with her! :roll:

I don't look at other people's hands more, but I do look at my own. I don't think I have ugly hands and I do take care of them, but I find myself wondering, 'Are they pretty enough?' It feels like the strangest thing to wonder!

I notice hands a lot, and I've ALWAYS looked after them and stuff. But I like looking at someone's hands to see f they care about their appearance, and not just how ther face s XD

I used to bite my nails all the time until recently. I got fake nails on. But I did it for myself not b/c of Bill.
I'm glad that the first thing Bill notices is hands and not boobs or ass, cause that proves that there are some decent guys out there. ;)

I like the fact he looks at someone's hands. I mean, i HATE it when you're talking to a guy and you know full well they're staring at your boobs and hearing you sing 'The Macarena' or something.... No attention being payed what so ever. XD
I think it's nice to know there ARE decent men out there who just want to know if a girl takes care of herself and of her appearance, not whether she has nice boobs or not. Bill is proof :D

Well, the thing is, Bill also mainly goes for personality (or so he says), so I think he only looks at hands to see if a girl looks after herself before he gets to know her.

Agreed. I mean, not everyone's hair is perfect (mine is a STATE normally, but since I had it done it hasn't been too bad...), and I think judging someone on thier hair is abit stupid. I know some really bitchy, horrible girls and thier hair is spot-on perfect... It's annoying
