Well +flexes fingers+ time to get these posted, for like, the third time
+Disclaimer+ I am not German, I am not fluent in German, but I do have a good basic understanding of the language and of the songs. I translated these a while ago, in September, because I wasn't entirely happy with the Scream album, and I want the true words to be out there too. If you know better German than I do [Dill, Susi] then feel free to correct any errors you see. :] These are my own translations, so if you wanna spread them, fine, but don't say they're your own. I tried to make them as literal as possible, yet without making it confusing to English fans. Some things are just the English parallels to phrases, because the actual German phrase didn't make much sense when said in English. Lastly, I did have someone who is fluent in german check over each translation, and I used multiple references, so these should be rather accurate.

There's no easy way to post the English Lyrics right next to the German ones, so I'll post a link for the German ones and then paste here the English ones. If you guys don't mind me stretching the page by putting one right after another, I could do that too....

*Retten, to save, can be used as save or rescue. I lean more towards to save, but since the English song is Rescue Me, I went with that.
**Literally 'can you hear me, can you not hear me?' but I think wording it the way I did gives more of the effect that the song is aiming for.
***I'd just like to point out that while this verse was a mix of other verses of the song, in the English version, it's an entirely new verse. I'd like to know where that came from....

*'ichlos' was hard since ich = I and los = -less [as in missing], but I figured it carried the same connotation as 'ich bin nich' ich' so that's what I used. A more literal way to interpret it might be to say 'I'm lost' or 'I lost myself', but I'm not sure.
**Could also be interpreted as 'I don't want it anymore', but I went with the more literal version.

normally..if i cant be bothered to search for translations i will just direct translate it..and it is the biggest load of rubbish..but thanks..youve made things really clear!...
especially..lots of thanks for the wir schliessen uns ein recognition..i have translated that soo many times i know it inside out..BUT...its nice to have an EXACT precise look on it...

I think these are really good! It just makes me feel bad for my portuguese ones :/ I'm always changing them till I get them right - or close enough.
