Here's a tiny article from a US Teen Mag called J-14. I thought it was a little interesting read. I always love to know what the band is listening to. Also, mad love for Bruce <3:

Bill From Tokio Hotel's Top Songs

Tokio Hotel's second album, Humanoid, left us wanting more--so we got Bill to spill his fave tunes just to J-14!

1) Use Somebody by Kings of Leon-- "I Love the lyrics, mostly because they are performed in such a great, emotional way."

2) Fix You by Coldplay-- "All time classic! This song has been on heavy rotation in my playlist for years. It reminds me of tons of great moments. So I always listen to it when I'm down."

3) Streets of Philadelphia by Bruce Springsteen-- "Its my personal soundtrack when I'm feeling melancholy."

4) Somewhere Only We Know by Keane-- "I'm so in love with songs that take you on a journey for a few minutes. This track gets me dreaming."

(Sorry. I can't find a decent scan at the moment)

Don't like the first 2, but love the last 2! So Bill has some good tastes... ;)

I'm surprised he didn't pick a Placebo song.

^If he had, I know exactly which song he would have said.

I've listened to Bruce my whole life, I've liked KOL for a long time, the Keane song is decent, and the Coldplay song is a good listen on occasion. Overall, I like his choices.

Kings of Leon, okay. The Coldplay song is quite nice to listen too, never heard of the Bruce Springsteen song, but (don't kill me) I'm not a big fan of Keane.

We don't really have similar music taste XD

The 1º song- I was searching for it at so much time.:-? So.. thanks Bill.
The 2º song- Also searching for it a long time
The 3º song- Never heard of it
The 4º song- I would never like it if my mom didn't started listening to it

Now we just need to find out what the rest of the band top songs.

Streets of Philadelphia is quite an old song, from the early 90s I think, made for the movie Philadelphia in which Tom Hanks plays a man with AIDS. Back then, people had a lot of wrong ideas about how AIDS was spread (they thought it could also be contagious if you talked to the person or shook hands with them, or even kissed them) so he was fired from his job and shunned by everyone. So that's also what the song is about.

It's really a nice song to listen to, especially, like Bill says, when you're feeling melancholic.

Some good choices...

I love Kings of Leon and that's one of my personal faves. I'm not a fan of Keane so...blah lol and the film Philadelphia as well as the song makes me cry. My melancholic song however is...

NIN-Everyday Is Exactly The Same. What a tune!
