I'd like to post this here as I think this is a really thoughtful idea as a fanaction for the twins 21st birthday, and it helps a really deserving cause.
Love Unleashed Project
is a worldwide fan action to create a meaningful and lasting 21st birthday gift for Bill and Tom by honoring them through our support of a cause close to their hearts. Make a difference in our world by supporting pet adoption and spay/neuter programs that will reduce the number of unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats. Now through August 5th, please give what you can to make this gift a lasting reminder of Tokio Hotel fan's generosity and support of animal adoption, as well as our affection for Bill and Tom. Why?
Pet overpopulation is a serious problem facing all societies today. Between 7 and 10 million dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens are brought to animal shelters in the United States ALONE each year. Worldwide, that statistic approaches even greater numbers.
What You Can Do To Help!
Love Unleashed will raise donations from Tokio Hotel fans from now through August 5th; all funds raised will allow us to select a legacy gift in honor of Bill & Tom Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel for their 21st birthday. This permanent gift will benefit the new, premiere no-kill dog and cat adoption facility Valley Animal Center located in California, where it will forever remain a reminder of Tokio Hotel fans’ generosity and support of animal adoption. All donations will go toward furthering the wonderful work the adoption facility does on behalf of animals in its care to help them each find a loving, permanent home.
Be A Part of Love Unleashed Now!
After you donate, sign the birthday book that will be presented to Bill and Tom as part of their gift (you will be directed to the proper page). This book will be a hardbound, photographic memory book detailing the entire Love Unleashed project and collected fan signatures. Also, be sure to visit our website often and vote for the Tokio Hotel song that you want featured on the commemorative plaque at the shelter. Check back to see if you are one of the lucky winners each week of a cool Love Unleashed Tshirt! And, of course, watch the 'Biscuit Jar' fill up with donations getting us closer to our goal. Remember, the more money we raise – the greater impact to help save the lives of precious animals that would otherwise be discarded and forgotten
