It used to be a lot of "fuzz" regarding Tokuio Hotel in Norway, are they men, women, gay, emo? But that has cooled now.

I believe most of the teenagers and young people have heard about them in some sort of way. From what I've seen they usually "hate" them, or love them, people my age who can just say "You like Tokio Hotel? That's fine" without commenting/asking if they're gay or women etc, are rare. :/

Tokio Hotel are known, but as Mari says I also think people are starting to forget about them..

Yeah, LUCKILY it has slowly starting to cool down where I live aswell. Not completly yet, but hopefully it will soon. I don't like having so much fuzz about them, really. I will always be able to get their CDs anyway, and read interviews and such - and as long as I can do that, I am happy!

It's the other way around here.
The girls hate them and the guys adore their music and Bill's style.
It's quite weird.

Don't get me wrong there are female fans. Just the boys make it more clear. Girls hide it. I dunno why though.

Every month theyre on magazines. At least a poster or a little news but somehow they are appearing on magazines.
This month 3 magazines gived posters and I didnt buy them yet. I'm going outside today. ;)
And I buy a foreign magazine named like-hit. I even donno whats that language but I'm still buying it becasue gives a mega poster every month. :lol: and :lol: at least 2 pages about Tokio Hotel. I cant understand but I love to saving documents. :D

I understand that TH is an addiction now, but come on! Talk about them with people you know and like and hang out with! It is really annoying listening to a radio station and the topic of the day is where do you want to go on summer vacation and some fans say to Tom's hands for example!

Then, it's quite obvious why many people don't like them. I'm addicted to them too, and I respect every single addisted fan BUT every thing has a limit I think.

In my area, most people know who they are but aren't major fans walking around with TH merch and screaming for concerts. One person in my school even claimed they were their favorite band... but then insisted the band name was spelled 'Toyko Hotel.' (I do hope that person realizes their mistake by now.) I think it may pick up a little bit, and I think the overall county popularity will grow in time. I do not predict an immediate success, but I do think it will be a gradual climb to the top that doesn't fall apart. It would have been nice to see a 'Bleeding Love/Leona Lewis' stake here for the band's happiness, but I think they would have gained a lot of fake and temporary fans that way.

The American tours this year are probably just a phase. My opinion is still that Europe is going to be hit with concert dates like never before with the new album. Eventually I do think the band will equate a balance between Europe and America.

If we love them, their happines must make us happy.
They are fine in states and theyre makin money and being more and more succesful....
And we cant do anything to bring them to europe.
They'll start a new tour after new album, soon we'll got them back.

I'd like to know what makes European fans more superior to American fans.
Why can't we be equals? Just because we're not on the same continent as the Europeans shouldn't give us a bad name. People have been dissing us simply for living in the country we do instead of seeing us as other fans, human beings, that really love the band. Yes, the boys had to travel out of Europe for us to receive concerts. But we're fans too, so why can't we have concerts?
