Story of when I first saw TH: I was watching MTV Brand New, a Dutch channel, and they showed Schrei. I was thinking: Look at that girl trying to be all cool with the boys (that was Bill :lol: ). I saw it once more a few days later, and I thought it was an ok song, but didn't think much else of it.

Then about 8 months later, I was driving and I heard the radio host announce that he was getting a lot of letters from TH fans saying that Bill isn't a girl. So he played Monsoon, which was the radio station's 'song of the week'. I listened and I was like: No way that's a boy. :lol:
Then I saw the video on TV as well and I was like: hm, the band members don't go together very well. But I did really love the song already, after the first time I heard it, and also when I saw the video. And then I went online and found out more and bought the albums etc. :D

Then there was a video on a foreign MTV, maybe in Houston, and I liked it enough to remember who they were (i think it was monsoon)

I went to Kos with some friends on holiday and ended up watching MTV deutschland.

There was the advert for "All Eyes On" where they hang out with Ingrid and Klaus. They showed it every ad break.

I turned to my friends: I can tell you now, if I see that again, I will be officially in love.

They showed it many a time again!!1

And so it began. Quite recently, but Ive caught up :)

Yeah, it's forbidden. They're afraid it might influence kids.

It's not forbidden in movies, I think, but it is in music videos.

Oh they smoked a lot.

What I can remember is during Bill's voice exercises (when he is going: la la la la etc) you can just after that see Bill in the background tapping off the ashes in an ashtray.

And in the end, when he is telling the little kid that Tom is wearing a dress, he also has a cigarette in his hand which he moves from one hand to the other.

There's other moments but these come to mind right now.

Yes, I would say they are smokers. In the 11 1/2 questions Tom answered for highlight of the day: my first cigarette. So he is definitely a smoker; only to a smoker would that be the highlight of the day.

And please remember we only see about 5 minutes a week of their lives. They wouldn't be smoking in interviews of course, so that drops about 3 minutes, which leaves us with 2 minutes a week in which we see them. So the chances of them actually smoking in those 2 minutes are very slim. Keep that in mind. ;)

Ville Valo (leadsinger of Finnish band HIM) smokes too (like a chimney) but he has one of the most AMAZING voices in the world. XD He also has asthma.


Anyways, they are smokers. I'd wish they werent but what ever.. There's nothing we can do about it. :)
