After the concerts in the US in May [info]dreamhunter & me talked to Dirk & Tobi from VSD Hamburg, and they told us about several problems they had in America more than in other countries.
One of them was that quite a big part of the fans were lacking respect towards them.

People did fangirly screaming at them, trying to take pictures, asking for autographs,...
Of course, this happens at every concert in every country from time to time, but it must have been especially bad at the US gigs.
So bad that VSD had problems doing what they are supposed to do: WORKING! Keeping us SAFE! Making the concert a good experience for all of us.

And no matter how much you talk & squee about them online, in real life they are nobody to fangirl over, but persons of authority! You f***ing do what they tell you, no questions asked.
They are not talking about it directly, but there must have happend something that caused VSD to go trough major changes right now:

- They were hardly present at all at the european summer concerts

- Several securities got shifted from TH Security to other departments (including my favourite ;_; )

- There are heavy rumors about Saki being exchanged and VSD getting a new Head of Security

- Same heavy rumors about the whole VSD being exchanged for a new Security Team

Why this matters so much to me and many other fans?
Because VSD and TH just belong together.
I always felt relaxed & safe when they were around. And after experiencing the summer concerts without them (and being almost smushed to death in the process several times because any other security just can't handle TH fans, it seems) it made me even more realize what an awesome security they actually are
I'm afraid if TH has to get a new Security Team altogether, it all will change. The new Security will probably be told not to react to the fans at all and the fun times are gonna be over. And they will make sure no one starts "fangirling" over them ever again.

Okay, point of this entry is simply to tell you that there is something going on, and I just ask you all to behave well in the next couple of weeks (lol, I'm feeling like a teacher). Or if you see fans behaving bad, try to get them to stop. And please, for the love of god, STOP taking pictures of the guys and asking them for autographs!

We want to keep VSD, ? So let's work for it.

Tokio Hotel drops VSD Hamburg
I know it’s a though headline to read, but it’s true. Apparently Tobi was telling people at the Sayreville concert, so an anonymous fan has told us the information. Saki has been fired and is not working with Tokio Hotel anymore. They also no longer have a contract with VSD Hamburg, but Tobi left VSD Hamburg to continue working with them. Tobi is now the Head of Security and a new company, Four Artists, was hired to be the new security. What’s most startling is that, from what we know, it seems like Tokio Hotel made the decision themselves, not management. We’re also not sure whether or not concerts will have local security or if Tobi will make his town team. I guess we’ll just have to wait to find out more.

Yeah and Saki too.

But Tobi (or Dirk, I have no idea which is which or which name he has..) didn't wear the VSD shirt in the US as far as I've heard and seen in the pics. And not a sight of Saki whatsoever.
Maybe he didn't get fired and just left along with VSD, or it was his option to do so. He's probably been harassed many times by the fans.

But if they don't feel VSD can do their work properly anymore or VSD themselves don't want to, then it's for the best I think.

Though it's sad. Saki's like the essence of TH. Not really. But could be. xD
