Does anyone know what guitar tuning Tom uses? I've seen a few tabs in drop D which seemed alright to me, but I've just seen one in drop C which is ridiculously low for a pop band. Does he change tunings a lot or what?

I think he does change them for different songs. I don't know what ones he uses/ changes to though lol
And i doubt he uses the same one for EVERY song, ebcause the chords in some of the songs are different to chords in others..... Some require the guitar to be tuned a little higher, others the guitar should be tuned a bit lower lol |

All of TH's songs can be played with standard tuning.
All though, in the official video of spring nicht, you can see that Tom uses a Bb to C slide in the verse, so there he uses drop D. But if you look at all the live versions of the song, you see he uses C and just slides the entire chord up two steps, so then he uses standard tuning. I know pretty much every single TH song on guitar, so you can just ask me if there is someting else ^^ EDIT: But most TH songs are tuned up or down, but then all of them are tuned so it doesn't matter that much. For instance, Ich brech aus is played in standard, while spring nicht is played three steps down. |

Geh, Wir sterben nimals aus und Ubers ende der welt can also play half a step down. Rette mich it tuned WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY down! At least the live version on the zimmer dvd. Once i got it on the same tuning as TOm played it
I always have my guitar tuned half step down, so when you want to play a song that's higher you can just use your capo instead of tuning up and down the whole time. This is just my way of playing their songs^^ Hopefully it was a incy wincy bit helpful.
