Lets posttttttt

wow this so was f*cking amazing. Best one yet on this tour. It was insaneeeeeeeee. I actually took video and pictures since the venue allowed cameras. So I'll try and get them up asap.

It was pretty sad, Bill was actually crying during the set and I felt really bad. His eye make up was running down the side of his face and I thought that he might just be hot and then It started on the other side and I noticed his nose was running and his eyes were all watery. I think it was the fact that I myself and other fans smashed in front gave him these faces of "help" and he couldnt really do anything about it. He mouthed "sorry" to me and I could tell he really meant it. His outfit was flippin adorable I was talking during that day in the line that I wanted him to wear suspenders but leave them hang off his pants AND HE DID! haha. It was cute.

They were really silly when it came to dumping the water out. They would take unopened bottles, open them, drink, then took it and dumped it on like ONE person. Tom literally stood there drenching me and I was like "wow this is cold.." and then He gave this huge smile and laughed. Then Georg came out and took 2 bottles and drank them dumped them on the same people tom did. I dont think he payed attention to what Tom had done right before him. Bill didnt really do anything. He didnt throw his towel either I was surprised.

Then I swear there were like 4389054385 people who had a meet and greet before the show. All these people just kept coming out of no where saying the won these random contests Ive never even heard of. I didnt care after the group grew so big. They were only inside for like 5 minutes.

ohh I forgot to add that Tom was sticking his whole arm out from behind the curtin before the show and kept waving he did it about 3 times. It was funny :]

okkkkkk I know Im forgetting a lot so I appologize

YES. right when I noticed it wasnt just sweat I like pretty much died and then video taped him and took pictures. (not in a sick unhealthy way) I guess he really does get effected by the crowd and how the fans are, I have never seen him that way I did tonight. I feel horrible.

Yeah Im trying to right now its not working out too well If not theyll be up tomorrow. Yes the issue needs to be addressed and fans need to CALM down. Girls behind me were saying " I really hope someone dies because then theyll get taken out and we get their spot" I FREAKED out on them. This girl started having a seizure, then 2 girls were completely passed out. Thank god it was right after their "goodbye" and Bill didnt see it.

Two people on THus say that he didn't cry, and one girl was close enough to see that he didn't. Where did the tears come from, the outside of his eyes? If so, they weren't tears, they were sweat. The tears would've come from the inside of his eyes.

August 17th, 2008, 01:24 AM
I'm not trying to argue, i'm just trying to make sure everything's straight. Can you look at your pictures to see exactly where they were coming from? The tear ducts are on the inside of the eye closest to the nose, so his makeup would've had to have been running from there first. This wouldn't be the first time he was sweating his make-up off and someone mistook it as crying.

yoitsjoxo
August 17th, 2008, 01:34 AM
oh no I completely understand. I thought for a LONG time that it was just sweat and I didnt want to say anything but his nose was runny and you could see in his face and emotions it was more than running makeup. I watched one of the videos and it cleary is streaming down his face. You can see perfectly.

yoitsjoxo

I cant tell you that, because I dont know. They were running inside and out. When someone cries, you squeeze your eyes together, making them come out the outside too. I had no idea that this would be such a problem. Id rather just drop it.

I'm new to this forum, but I wanted to join, so hi everyone :D

The concert, amazing, and better then I expected.

However....

After the concert, my brother and I waited outside the buses with many other hopeful fans dreaming of getting an autograph or a picture. However, there was a sort of encasement using vehicles to block the view. Apparently the band got onto the buses and left and me along with many others were completely confused.
Major bands such as the Goo Goo Dolls have taken time for their fans and done photos and autographs at the Myth before. I don't know who is responsible for Tokio Hotel's management, but it was almost shocking that they left immeadiately after the concert. One would imagine that your first show someplace you would want to establish a connection with the fanbase. I don't know, the whole after-concert experience left me with a bad after-taste of the band.

Yes, it looked like the third degree to me. Why keep pestering her? Does it really matter that much? I guess I don't see this as something that I would need "clarification" for. Whether he did or didn't, really isn't that big of a deal.
Because someone else might read it, and then it gets spread as a huge rumor. You might not think it's a big deal, but it is to other people. And it's also the fact that if her story is true, all he did about it was cry instead of actually trying to help. That's another part i don't believe.

I got drenched in Tom-water. Oo; I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be happy or not. XD

The concert, pushing aside, was a LOT of fun. :3 I felt really bad for the girls that fainted/had to be pulled out. :/ If it weren't for the starbursts and water they handed out at the beginning, I probably would have joined them because it was so hot in there!!!

And Bill was crying - I was all the way over on Tom's side and could see it from there. Couldn't tell you what he was crying about (I started NOTICING when he was singing "Don't Jump"), but he definitely was crying.

I felt like smacking whoever threw that rose... so not cool. -__-;;;

But overall, the concert was amazing! :D

A part that i'm really not believing is that he did nothing about it. If it bothered him enough that he cried, but he didn't do anything about it, then he REALLY fails. Someone needs to talk to that boy, stat.

Well that and the fact that his make-up is only running on the outside of his eye, not the inside of his eye. If anything, it would running both places.

One would imagine that your first show someplace you would want to establish a connection with the fanbase. I don't know, the whole after-concert experience left me with a bad after-taste of the band. Now, I'm not very familiar with the venue but it doesn't surprise me at all that Tokio Hotel didn't go a signing after the concert/they left right away.

Tokio Hotel's management is, in fact, very smart.
Take the Chicago signing for example. You had to be one of the first 200 (I think it was 200) to buy a CD to participate in the signing. Now, they are making a ton of money off of that!
Also, all their signings have been scheduled - it wouldn't make much sense for them to do an unscheduled one.
First of all, some crazy CCF fans might get mad. Secondly, it is very unwise for a band so popular to go out in a crowd of fans without order and a plan. Thirdly, Tokio Hotel's schedule is jam packed. They probably had to leave right away for the band to even dream of getting some sleep and making it to their next destination.

So yeah - I just wanted to say why I think they didn't do a signing.
But here is to both of us being able to go to one, one day!

kennedyrosewhith
August 17th, 2008, 05:34 PM
In NYC they came out afterwards. It wasn't a full signing, not in anyway, but they did stop and sign things for a few lucky fans who were right on the barricades. The entire deal took maybe 20 seconds at the most. I expected them to do the same in Sayreville, but security chased everyone out of the parking lot before the boys left.

EDIT: Oh, yoitsjoxo, i watched Don't Jump. Very, very nice video. =)

I understand that, how it is usually done at the Myth venue is the guards will walk around and say "The band is gone" then the gullible leave, and eventually 90% of the crowd has left, then a band will come out. It didn't even take 30 minutes for there to be only 20 people left last night.

I understand they are busy, but it wouldn't have killed them to wait 40 minutes and meet a small group of fans. Even if there had been 100 fans, a autograph and a photo probably takes 20 to 30 seconds, so it wouldn't have taken long.

OMFG that was the best concert ever, I think. I got tons of videos and pics, but my camera was being stupid and took all of the videos in sepia :? but it was lots of fun

You know how they weren't letting protruding lens cameras(or whatever) in? well this super tall guy who was standing right next to me snuck one in and the security totally blew up in his face.

Even though I got there at about 4:30 I was in they 4th row, or whatnot. I got into the 2nd, but people were pushing me around and I couldn't breathe so I went back a row.

When I was in the second row though, I waved a tiny wave at Bill, and he winked at me. or in my general direction at least.

and I too almost started crying when I saw Bill cry, I was so sad for him. It was sad. poor Bill.

I have no idea, but my GUESS would be the way fans are behaving. I know Tom has said before that he wants to help but he doesnt want to ruin the mood, so maybe Bill was just upset he couldnt say anything? Plus Don't Jump is an emotional song and it probably just got him going? Its a tough call.

About bill crying. If the sweat comes from his forehead, it might as well get to the inner part of his eye. It just kind of droops down, ya know? It might just be sweat.

MrsKaylaKaulitz
August 18th, 2008, 01:56 AM
Okay, stupid me but I have to throw my two cents in. When I cry, it's easier for me to get it out by singing. And when I cry and sing, I do certain things. And just by his body language in the first half, I can tell that he is crying, among everyone saying he was. Get over it. Bill was upset, and it wasn't sweat. He was crying. End of discussion.

Reddragon
August 18th, 2008, 07:37 AM
After watching the video, I can't tell that he's crying, but I don't have a very clear view of his face. His body language however, was quite heavy with emotion. I'm hoping that the song was making him emotional and not the crowd because like you said, that would mean he did nothing about it... Maybe, if he was that upset over the crowd, he was thinking there wasn't anything he could do about it. Maybe, he wasn't thinking at all... Maybe he didn't think he had the power to make the crowd chill out... Maybe this happens at concerts in Europe all the time... Maybe this is standard... I'm sorry... I'm trying to justify it.

In all honesty (I'm trying to imagine myself in their position), if it were me up there, there's a chance I wouldn't have done anything. Not because I'd rather the crowd suffer and die, but I have a hard time straying away from the game plan. If I don't stick to what I know I'm supposed to do, my thought process stops completely so I have to have tunnel vision. I stick to what I know. Have they ever confronted the fans at a concert before? If they don't know how the fans will react... Maybe they're scared of repercussion - either from management or from the fans. But at the same time, that shows where their ethics lie.

I'm sure none of that makes sense... I was just thinking through the keyboard and it all came out in a tangled jumble. Sorry!

The part of not knowing how the fans will react is a point I agree with. I'm really all for them announcing WHILE they're onstage for everyone to settle down and not to push so much. BUT I can also see people not listening. All it would most likely end up with is Bill opening his mouth, people screaming and pushing while he's saying it, simply because he IS talking and then the point is lost.

Tbh TH fans like that at a concert scare me to death. lol.
But I'm glad other than that it was a good show.

Geez. No need to get all defensive about it.

Looking at the video I could tell he was upset. But, like when I cry, I cannot sing. Its different with many people, but I am saying that I have a harder time getting the words out singing than I do while talking.

Somehow I can't imagine Bill crying so easily. They have been touring all over for how many years now, and fans are getting crushed against the barrier all the time. Somehow I can't see him crying about it every night. Posts on forums eveyrwhere would have him sobbing out of concern 24/7. Jeez.

I mean, no offense, but I think he was probably just sweating like crazy. Mouthing the "i'm sorry" I can see. Crying about it no.

I dont know. Every other show I've been to so far, I did not notice what I noticed here. I had seen him sweat on stage for a number of nights and this night was different and yes he was sweating but you dont sweat from your eyes...you could just see it in him that he was emotional. His eyes were sooooo watery. Im not trying to start any more things on here but I honestly do believe he was. Ultimately it could be for reasons we have no idea about. Either way its upsetting.

That's what i was thinking, but i wasn't sure how to say it. Thanks. =)

I seriously don't get why everyone thinks he was crying. Do you guys not get that the tear ducts are on the inside of the eye, not the outside? If he was crying, the make-up should've started running there first, if not only there. I really think it was just sweat.

Would you freaking DROP it please? Everyone who was THERE will say he was crying (and yes, I was)... I'd seriously like to see Bill hold back all the sweat until that moment on BOTH sides of his face.

Yes, the tear ducts are on the inside, but when I noticed it first his head was tilted BACK. Meaning the natural flow of the tears would go out to the corners of his eyes, where ironically his makeup is the thickest. I'd also like to mention that when I cry, my tears tend to slide to both corners of my eyes as well, because I'm blinking to try and stop them and it spreads the tears out.

Bill is human, he's allowed to cry. So please, just drop it.

You do realize i wouldn't have said anything if it wasn't still being talked about, right? And no, not everyone who was there will say he was crying because there ARE people on other forums who said he was clearly NOT crying, and it was just sweat. And if it was tears, then i wonder how he held back the sweat on his forehead until that moment to make it look like he was crying there, too.

I really think a lot of it has to do with girls just wanting him to show his sensitive side. I'm sorry, but i don't believe it, and i think the entire notion is just stupid. It's not that i don't want him to cry, he can cry as much as he likes, i just don't believe he was crying at the concert.

Now, if you'd like for this topic to continue, then be my guest. Otherwise, i'll have nothing to say.

As there are people on another forum who are saying he wasn't crying, there are people HERE saying he was. Please take both sides into consideration, and as you weren't at the concert, please stop intentionally instigating arguments.

Don't accuse me of intentionally instigating arguments. I AM taking both sides into consideration, and i'm choosing to believe the other side because his entire face did look that sweaty and it wouldn't be the first time someone mistook his sweating for cry, among other things.

Could you please explain to me why i had to BE there to be able to start an argument there?
I don't really get why seeing pictures aren't enough for a discussion.

If you guys think this is a negative discussion, then it is. But honestly? I'm not angry, frustrated, or anything. I'm actually quite calm. So make of this discussion what you will.

I didn't accuse, I asked you not to. It's fine to state an opinion, but arguing over it when you weren't there is pointless. A discussion yes, an argument no.

You were basically saying anyone who thought he was crying was seeing things they wanted to see ("wanting to see Bill's sensitive side"); in essence making it up. Really not cool. :|

Personally? If I were on stage and saw the kind of **** the boys see happening up front (pushing, shoving, squishing), I'd be upset at every concert. :/

You asked me to stop intentionally instigating arguments. How can i stop something if i haven't already started doing it? And no, i'm not arguing.

Making it up? No, i don't think so. Seeing things? Yes, i do think they were seeing things. I think there's a difference between the two. One's intentional, one isn't.

Upset enough to cry, yet do nothing about it?

In my personal opinion... lol
If Bill was crying because of the crowd being insane and violent, I would NOT expect him to say anything. Noting he said would have made a difference - people are going to push no matter what. It would have made it really awkward. Just imagine being in a crowd and the band saying -Calm down now. people are getting hurt. ...silence... yes it would be extremely awkward. If he was or wasn't it doesn't really matter. A concert isn't a time or place for a professional performer to lay all his feelings out to the crowd.

And its just really weird that every concert is complaining about pushing... has no one ever been to a concert before? I don't know. I just think fans are making a big deal out of something that is COMPLETELY NORMAL at concerts. TH was the calmest show I've ever been to.

oh wait. nsync was. lmao.

dude I completely agree! I think a ****load of TH fans just haven't been to ROCK concerts before. Tokio Hotel shows are a breeze for me. do you see Bill telling one side of the crowd to run at the other? and crowd surfers kicking everyone in the face? no. it's just a bunch of girls squeezing and pushing and freaking out. and I LOVE concerts. idk I would be hella bored at shows if there was no pushing or excitement like that. and... if you get in the front at a rock show like Tokio Hotel (and YES Tokio Hotel is a ROCK band that puts on ROCK shows), you should be expecting some discomfort and craziness and be prepared.

if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. seriously I saw little like 11 year old girls in the front of the crowd and I'm like "WTF are they doing? do they realize they probably won't be able to handle it and will get pulled out? they are better off in the balcony"

and yeah I'm sure Tokio Hotel has seen their fair share of fans getting hurt. they don't like it... but I don't think Bill would go all crying about it. it is completely normal at concerts. some girl right behind me was having an asthma attack at their Detroit show and Bill looked completely fine. he really is a **** good professional performer to keep himself together so well.

anyways, I don't think this all really matters, maybe he did maybe he didn't. my vote is that he didn't.

I completely agree with you. I really don't think he was crying. He has preformed in sooooo many different places and he is probably used to the craziness now. I know at the NJ concert people were passing out and getting pulled out left and right and it didn't even phase him. I know if I was crying I could never just continue singing. It would sound all shakey.

well ****...lol...so maybe he cried...maybe he didnt...i can see it happening..stress from the tour and the lack of sleep and the whole seeing fans being crazies in the audience...but who knows...maybe it was sweat...perhaps he was just really really hot and sweated a great deal more than he did at the other ones...either way it is done with...if they talk about it fine if not fine...but i am just going to throw this out there...i am SOOOOOOO glad that the Cleveland audience was nothing like at the others at were so bad...yes there was some crazy Russian girl who was fighting over a towel and my BFF passed out(she is fine)...Bill and the guys seemed to be having a great time in Cleveland. No crying or speculation of it at least. Heard he had a break down in NJ but still specualtion (though i slightly believe it) but i just hope that perhaps the fans will get the message to calm down a tad. I was pushed and shoved and stepped on and i am fine...i can survive and hold my own in the mosh pit(well sort of one lol) but some cant and for that you shouldnt be there...end of story.

also i think bill does have the power to help the crowd calm down if need be. perhaps not in the middle of the show but before hand or something...and if people are as in love with him and the band and respect them as much as they say then they would respect their wishes ya know. but also on another outlook i didnt realize till i read Vatefairefoutre's post about the excitement and stuff at concerts...i too think it would be kind of boring without it but you can have fun without hurting people too.

so yeah my 2 cents lol...take it how you want. not being mean or nasty about anything and i hope no one gets mad...i hope that the rest of the concerts go better and that everyone has an awesome time!!!

i will def be going to another one!!!

i definitely know where you are coming from. but regardless of whether your being kicked in the head/punched in the eye stems from the movement of the music- however it was worded- it is still more chaotic and painful. getting a group to start a circle pit would cause a lot more chaos/pain at a concert. so i just think people need to suck it up and deal with it. i've just heard endless complaints of the pushing since this tour started. i was front row in front of bill. of course i had tons of people trying their best to get to my place and i was plastered to the barricade. but as i said. much worse situations could occur.

for me, Tokio Hotel shows are easier like pushing, squeezing, and hurting wise than most concerts I've been too... but DAYUM the ******iness from some of the fans. wtf. I've definitely never experienced fans as rude as some Tokio Hotel fans. some girls are just SO fluffing determined to get to their fav member and throw a huge hissy fit if they don't get Bill's towel or something. omg.

but I still really think that the girls that complain about the pushing and crap, just should not be in the front. seriously. Okay, so I have heard about these two girls that had Bill and Tom's attention most of the the night, and Tom waved to them in line, and I have been hearing about them a lot lately, and I really wanted to see if any of you have videos or pictures, or if you know who the heck they are. I have reason to believe that Bill is dating one of them.

Thanks <3
