Hello!
I have another post in this forum with other TH pics I drew....
But, anyways, here is a recent drawing I did. I don't think I've ever spent so much time on a drawing, and I've done portraits before!
I'm a self-taught artist and I have been drawing for about 10 years now.....and I am a perfectionist! I know there are some minor details that may not be right, but I'm doing my best not to mess with it, haha. Otherwise, I'll never be satisfied, haha....
Well, I hope you enjoy it!

That's very nice. The eyes are the best part.

Not too bad!! I would work on your shading, though. Shading needs to convey the form and make it look 3-D It can't just exist in the drawing because it does in the photo. Sometimes, when working from photos, it is necessary to create shadows that do not appear in the picture but exist in real life.
I think the nose is a little off center, as well. Not by much, though.
Good work! :)

Thank you! I'm not the greatest at shading and I just used a regular pencil, no special ones. And with any portrait I do, there is always something off (minor or so), but I do my best and as long as it looks like the person and recognizable, I'm satisfied, haha.
Thank you for your imput, though!

Thank you! Yes, shading isn't my strongest point, haha. But, thank you for the advice!

Thank you! The eyes were one of the hardest, but easy at the same time....it's weird, but ya....i worked a lot on the eyes!!
I think the hardest for my was the shading by the jawline and the eyes....the mouth and nose a little bit, but not too much, haha....
