Mod/Admin Appreciation Day!!

In the last 2 years I've been here, (not including the break) I've noticed Gaja hasn't been getting much appreciation for the wonderful work she does here.

So Gaja and I caught up and talked about managing this forum. Turns out she's been managing this forum for 4 years. (If I did that I would go crazy) And I thought the mods need a little love.

I came up with the idea, Mod/Admin Appreciation Day. Basically you go to there profiles to say thank you for doing a really good job.

It's on June 12th and it's an all day event.

Please don't go and accuse one of the mods and say they're being too full of themselves. If you have anything to say about Mod/Admin Appreciation Day, say it to me because I'm the one who came up with the idea.

It's the thank you video we got for winning the widget contest way back in 2007. I photoshopped my fingers to the bone for that contest, so I was tweeeeeeeeeked that we won. :)

I just want to say that even if Gaja and I often disagree, I think she is one of the fairest and most tolerant mods I have ever come across. I also appreciate her posting because she is smart, funny, and very knowledgeable about TH.

I remember when I first became a mod! I didn't really know anyone on the forum and I had no clue what I was doing and I had no idea I'd still be here three years later. I'm so glad I got to meet my fellow mods, I couldn't have asked for better co-workers! Christine always makes me laugh, Gaja is probably one of the smartest and wittiest people I know, Ariel is a mini Gaja ;), Britt Britt is always there when I need her, and is the sweetest person ever and John posts sexy beard pics and is the biggest flirt I know :D

And my forumlings are like my children. Sometimes you misbehave but we're still a family. Being a mod has been hard at times but I don't regret ever joining the forum because I made so many friends here and life just wouldn't be the same without any of you. And to everyone I haven't talked to yet, don't be shy, I don't bite :cffgrin:
