View Full Version : Unable To Post A New Chapter On My Own Story

So I was just wondering, I'm the author of the story "You're a jerk, I know"

But the forum won't allow me to post a new chapter on my own story.

It says "Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /us/forum/newreply.php on this server."

Also, when my friend Lori wants to post on it, it says:

"This error (HTTP 403 Forbidden) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage. For more information about HTTP errors, see Help."

And this comes up as well:
"The website declined to show this webpage
HTTP 403
Most likely causes:
•This website requires you to log in.
What you can try:
Go back to the previous page.
More information"

Just wondering, other than the swear words, what words are not allowed to be published? Because I censored all the prohibited words on my story and it still will not let me publish it.

If I am missing something, please let me know!
I'd really like to post the new chapter of my story.

The forum has some WEIRD words it won't allow. Like the other day it decided I wasn't allowed to make a post containing the word 'vi.deos' Some folks have had trouble with 'Asi.an' I don't get it and find it rather annoying.

Oh I see. It just does not allow certain words.

How do I find out the words it won't allow?
Is it more of a process of elimination type of thing or is there an actual way of finding out which words it will not allow me to publish?

Yup... forum doesn't allow the word "p0.ker" either... Maybe it's anything that had a slight tendency towards publicity or spam or idk? I've always wondered about this too...

it wouldn't let me add links for one of my updates,
wouldn't let me say Japanese,
or the brand names of the cars my characters were driving
and wouldn't let me say an entire sentence for apparently no reason.

I had a 2000+ word update that time so I had to go paragraph by paragraph and narrow it down from there..

Hope you can try that and that it (or something else) will work for you.
