My story meeting Bill and Tom

I met Bill and Tom recently at Katsuya Restaurant in hollywood. They were both very nice, I said hi to them inside, I didnt want to bother them inside for a picture, and by the time they came outside there were too many paparazzi. But I got to say hi and tell them I am a huge fan and comment on Bill's blond hair. Here are a couple pictures on my flickr

I took (staggeringly crappy) photos of them outside one of the concerts I've been to. Didn't really feel like something to post about, though. *shrug* As it stands I have probably hundreds of photos of them that I took, personally. Sometimes I post them in the photo threads. I've never thought of it as being that big of a deal.

Tbh, I don't quite understand why this thread has been so negatively loaded. Yes, she might be a celebrity hunter and all, but all in all I see nothing exceptionally bad in here (or in her). Maybe she streched the truth, but not exactly lied either. She knows LiesAngeles?

It was same weird polirized thing on videos, where others were calling Bill rude when he didn't pose with the girl and others laughed at her for not getting a pic with Bill. I personally don't see amnything over dramatic here - to one way or the other.

Hey, if I would meet the boys one day, I would come to tell you immediately, not gonna lie about that. I'd be too excited to shut up. :laugh:

But hey, I DID meet Tom Kaulitz once!

He was the whole 30 meters away from me, for realz, and he looked so good and I fangirled so much... And no, he didn't even look at me nor did he cared sh*t about my existence there. He had tons of other girls in front of me and a guitar to play. Snif. ;)

And then I spend half an hour stalking their tourbus from the hotel room of musicinmysoul in Stockholm. And their tourbus was parked basically right next to my car on a parking lot of Helsinki icehall.
No, I didn't see anyone coming in or going out. Just boring Couch Service's busses standing there.

It's so fascinating to see them so alike, because even if it's there, it's so rarelyt seen. Now it is there. Fascinating, indeed. Bill is too blonde fore my taste and I still löike femme-Bill, but since we have to say goodbye to it... *shrug*. I just can't find myself to be too excited about it. Sorry. I know evberyone "should" find Bill overly hotsexybeautiful makeup-less and blonde, but I'm a whining ***** and like femme-Bill more. Sorry for being an "unsupporting fan".

Some people punch up the truth to make it sound better or more exciting. If she had come up here and said that Bill turned her down for a picture, I'm guessing she would have figured we would make fun of her. I dunno. She was talked about regardless.

I apologized for being so catty because what I did reflects back on the Tokio Hotel fandom as a whole. I don't want us to look like a bunch or rabid beasts because not all of us are.

See, I think that Bill looks great here. Like, all of it. The blonde, the piercings, the scruff. It's WONDERFUL. Photos like this make me wonder how anyone with eyes can look at him and go 'ew, icky'.

I do love love love him in makeup, guys in eyeliner have been a weakness for me ever since I first tripped over The Cure many, many years ago, so Bill just ravishes the heck out of that for me, but he's PRETTY and he looks good with or without. Honestly, the idea of taking this photo and giving him a very nice, crisp eyeliner line is enough to make me swoon, but it IS nice to see him without it, too.

Oh, I do think he looks good with makeup and I'm all for eyelined boys (*also a fan of The Cure*)! I'm not all CFF about his looks but the boy is flawless most of the time. It's possible that I prefer him au natural because he looks more like his twin and Tom will always make my heart pitter-pat.

That's what I'm thinking as well. I'm cool with it either way. I liked the dark hair and make-up, but I am surprised at how much I'm liking the blonde hair. Somehow, I wasn't really surprised at the blonde hair. When Tom got cornrows and Bill had dreads, it was such a surprise for me. Bill's current style seems like it should have been more surprising than that, yet somehow it feels completely normal to me. (I don't know if I'm making much sense; I am awfully tired and may not be writing very clearly:)...)

Actually, when I first got there, I felt pretty out of place. I forgot how differently life runs there compared to where I live now. But the day I had to leave was when I was finally starting to get used to it again. Go figure.

I can't really tell for myself so I don't know what to think. *shrug* A bit off topic, but she actually confessed to me yesterday that she truly worries about them (their health, fame, living in L.A, etc.) like she would with her own children. That's kind of interesting. Does these boys (men.. men now) have this effect on everyone spending enough time "with" them? Somehow I think I know how she feels... maybe... It's this weird kind of motherly worry and emotion we older fans sometimes have for the boys. Not everyone, of course not, but I've heard so many older female fans saying how they worry about them in a weird, motherly way. And I don't even try to deny it: I could be a spare-Simone :grin:

One day you're just kinda half watching WBMW on youtube going 'eh, these guys aren't bad' and a week later you're clawing the walls for photos, reading every interview they've ever done, learning German just so you can translate things yourself, and starting fan blogs to spread the word.

That's also the reason that people who WERE fans tend to be so hateful. They feel bitter and angry at having been sucked in (though they don't realize that this is the reason why), so they have to fling hate left and right as wards against getting drawn back in. Of course, once the twins have you you can never ACTUALLY leave, which is why the former fans always stick around, even though they claim that it's 'for the lulz'.

On New Year everyone in Sweden is watching TV at midnight, or listening to the live aired, of a program sent live from Skansen (zoo, park iwth Swedish culture stuff) where they do the countdown. It'a magical. There's a actor chosen who do this until they can no longer and they recite a påoem by Tennyson. There's a choir and artists who perform and after midnight they show the whole panorama of Stockholm (Skansen is on a mountain wiht amazing view) with all the fireworks. So beautiful!

Don't call them men in front of her. :P I made that mistake yesterday when she called them boys. She made it very clear to me that they may be adults by age, but they're still young boys and growing/maturing/finding their way. I agree with her, but I still call them young men.


Somehow I think I know how she feels... maybe... It's this weird kind of motherly worry and emotion we older fans sometimes have for the boys. Not everyone, of course not, but I've heard so many older female fans saying how they worry about them in a weird, motherly way. And I don't even try to deny it: I could be a spare-Simone :grin:

I think part of it for my mom is that she has always wanted to be a life coach. I think she could be an excellent life coach for celebs could give them a good reality check. She sees how vulnerable Bill & Tom are (especially since they moved to L.A) and she seriously wishes she could help guide them on the right path (because she doesn't think they're on it right now). Sounds really silly, but I get it. It doesn't sound obsessive to me because she doesn't want anything from them. She just wants to be "mama" to them just like she would be with anyone else she could coach. I would totally support this if I was aloud to tag along, of course. They can come over for dinner anytime. ;-) I'll need to have my Google Translate app out and ready, but... heh heh.

Young girls do it a lot, but for grown-ups it is pretty much limited to couples. Nobody thinks she's invading their privacy. And considering that T&B clearly posed willingly for her picture means that she will not be banned and she is not considered any kind of stalker.

I think Lies Angeles is upset because he's been a good little boy (in his perspective). He hasn't papped them since the end of July (those pix of Ria barely count), and now they've been seen in Katsuya, Chateau Marmont, that real estate agency, and whatever club Sarah saw them (twice!) and other people have been getting pix and not him.

I'm actually feeling a bit bad for him now. Still, he should have listened to me when he first started papping them. If he'd done what I suggested, he wouldn't be in this stew now.

That said, I also must say that I can't totally blame him either. There are certain sides when being a celebrity and people craving for pics (and that leads to paps) is part of it. When they show up in paparazzi hotspots, I have no problems of paparazzis taking pics of them. I don't want paps to run after them onm every day basis and even less to follow their friends, gf's, family members, but when they intentionally choose to make an appearance in a place where they should know they will be filmed, they deserve to be filmed as well.

And even if I want them to have certain privacy, I also understand that it is not always possible if you want to be a celebrity. Paparazzi pics happen to every celebrity. TH boys are no different in that and therefore I'm not exactly upset about them unloess they are too invading or unrespectful.

I agree that if TH would provide pictures themselves every now and then, fans wouldn't be so strongly after paparazzi pics. TH should think about it.

My feeling is it's because they have been hanging around Hollywood hotspots and Lies has been acting virtuously (in his opinion) by not photographing them, and then the next thing he sees, Sarah gets pix and people start bothering him for pix. So he feels like he can't win. If he paps them, people yell at him. If he doesn't pap them, people yell at him.

So instead of realizing that people are mad at him because he papped them when they were at the supermarket or getting mad at fans for being idiots, he's mad at the guys for putting him in this position. When in fact, all three share a bit of the blame.

I'm thinking that this whole thing is staged. Again. I've tweeted and e-mailed Lies a few times and he seems oddly determined to ignore me, which I don't understand; I'm not saying anything substantially different than anybody else. Not to mention the fact that I'm not calling him names or accusing him of anything.

So what I'm thinking is that T&B are going to Hollywood hot spots hoping to be papped, but they know nobody knows them, so they've hired Lies Angeles to do it. Of course, he can't pap them just like that, knowing how much some people hate him, so he has to make up this whole overblown scenario to cover up his (and T&B's) tracks.

It would be tragic if that were the case because that would mean the twins totally pegged their hopes on the wrong pony with this dude. NONE of the US forum leaders like him. ALL of them have banned at least some of his photos from being posted on their sites.

They'd be better off getting some of those camera guns tom posted about way back in the olden days of his blog and have a photo war in their backyard, then leaking those photos to the fandom (also, that would be awesome).
