a2zeta from THA get's credit.
She translated the part with the title "Confidences":

We met B, T, G and G between their two concerts at Bercy, last March. Always radiant, they gave us their impressions of the 1000 Hotels Tour.
So, guys, how are you?
B: It’s always good for us. We’re living our dream! France is always very special for us.
T: We’ re quite tired, but we’re really happy to be here.
Why are you tired? Did you party yesterday after the concert?
B: No, we don’t party at all at the moment. We have to withstand the stress of the tour, so we avoid excesses. However, we go to bed quite late.
T: Yeah, after the concerts, for example, we have a bite to eat and stay awake until three or four in the morning. We have a slightly different life, compared to others.
You have a concert tonight. It’s in 14 hours, but the fans are already outside, queuing. Is it always like that?
B: No, we’re not at all used to that, especially since it’s so cold outside. I don’t know how they do it, but I take off my hat to them. It’s surreal, to think that we filled Bercy twice in a row…
T: We think it’s amazing. We are stressed and excited at the same time for what is happening to us.
Many fans say that they prefer it when you sing in German rather than English… Do you take that under consideration?
B: Of course, we listen to what they tell us. By the way, yesterday we did the entire concert in German. And tonight as well! We adapt to the countries and cities we play in. For example, in Brussels the entire show was in English. And sometimes we do a mix of both. Obviously this means more work for me, because I have to remember the lyrics in two different languages.
T: But also for us, we must play in two languages! You can’t really see it, so you can’t believe it… (laughter)

[I skip the next question – it’s about where they have played or should play in France]

Bill, has your memory ever gone blank on stage?
B: No!
Ge: Are you joking? Don’t you remember the last time in Zenith, in Paris?
B: Yes, it’s true… I repeated the first part of a song twice. But oh, well… When you do 40 concerts in a row, it’s possible to make a few small mistakes sometimes.
T: No, I ‘ve never made a mistake! And don’t make a fuss. If you go blank, you only have to let the audience sing!
Are you already thinking about Parc des Princes on 21 June?
B: Of course, we think about it constantly. It’s going to be a huge deal. We are very happy. It’s a huge honour for us. We are welcomed like knights (?) every time we come here.
Do you have any surprises planned for the stage?
T: Sure. We are preparing a few things at the moment, but we can’t reveal anything. All I can say is that it will be a special evening for us as well as the fans. It will be awesome!
There are talks of your new album. Do you think that your fans will wait for you?
B: I try not to think of that. We are not a hundred percent sure, but when there is too much pressure, you can’t work properly.
T: It would be no use to try to work quickly just because of fear. What we want is to take our time to offer the public a really good album. Every single song must really please us.
B: Anyway, we had a lot more pressure when we launched our second album. The first was a huge hit and we had to prove that we were capable of confirming this success. With the third one we are much more relaxed.
When you went to the US, did you have the impression that you had already acquired an audience?
T: No, not really. Some fans waited for us at the airport. They knew our songs by heart. But we had to prove ourselves anyway. We did small concerts in clubs for about 1000 people. The venues were full, so we were proud. It was, in a way, a new beginning, like when we first came to France. At the time we were well known in Germany but we had to prove ourselves here.
Would you be capable of completely disappearing from the media for 6 months?
B: To tell you the truth, yes. That would be nice. We tried that in Germany, before launching the 2nd album. For 3 months we gave no interviews. But that didn’t work out well. The magazines were full of articles about us. The worst thing was that we had not uttered a single word of what the journalists wrote.
T: Wherever you are, there is always a paparazzi around to tell stories… Even if the album doesn’t come out soon, the media will find ways to talk about us. For example, they will look into our personal lives. Anyway, when someone is on the media in many countries, things get reproduced. It’s really difficult to disappear completely and to rest.
Can you tell us about you last holidays in the Maldives?
B: We did nothing for two weeks. It was perfect for us, but too brief. As you saw in the magazines, our schedule only included laziness for the entire day. We swam, sunbathed…
T: And you see, for 2 weeks we gave no interviews, but the magazines still talked about us!
Are you thinking of changing your look for the launching of the next album?
B: The look is about how one feels, it doesn’t depend on an album. We will see, according to our frame of mind at that moment.
T: Who knows, maybe Georg will have a new hairdo for P des P… or maybe he’ll go naked!
What do you think about those who criticize your fans?
B: Those are the jealous ones: honestly, our fans are amazing. They are the best fans anyone can have in the world. Maybe I would be a little jealous if I didn’t have fans like that. But that’s no reason to attack them!
Do you have time to be interested in the current music industry, despite your limited free time?
B: To tell you the truth, we’re not exactly up to date at the moment. Each one has been listening to the same music for more than 6 years.
T: I like Apologise a lot, but I think I knew them before they made it to the top. Marketing doesn’t interest us much. We listen to what we like.
Do you do a lot of downloading?
B: Yes, but legal. We are the first to fight for the protection of music. It’s important.
T: Anyway, I download, because I don’t have time to go to the stores. Personally, when I like an artist, I like to have the CD with the booklet.

maybe withthe off time for their album, they will come back with gfs lol. about time right? but to be honest, i think they will have to break america all over again if they take a 6 month break to record.

So all bands have to start all over again with every new album? When they're in the studio that's when they do fun interviews.

Maybe if they record in America and keep doing interviews and stuff in America they won't have to break us again.
Maybe that's what they're doing when they come here this month. That'd be awesome.

Interviews done in other countries reaches you too, just look at this forum. And american journalists do interviews all over the globe daily. If we in every country in Europe would think like that no american artist would ever be remembered and had to start all over every time they release a new album. And I think it would be way too stressful for them to record in the US considering how homesick they are now.

Wait, they are at home now, right?
Anyway Tom said he likes being in America. I don't think the stress would be too much on him. lol.

But yeah they could still record here. That way they could work on the english version b/c they would be in an english speaking country. And they could keep their presence known here.
I know interviews from other countries reach this forum, but they don't reach the major marketing product which is television. The guys could do more interviews for FUSE or some other music station. They could promote Scream and get the word out about the new album.

There's nothing stopping them from being on TV! It doesn't need to be filmed in the US. You think all interviews with american artists are done in every country they're showed in? If that was the case your artists would never be home in the US! Different MTV stations in different countries buy programs from the other MTVs.

And you have to look at it in a broader perspective. They need to get home to Germany so their own country wont forget all about them. You've had your months with more publicity then they've ever got in any other country besides Germany. A lot of countries in Europe got nothing. They need to go home and be own talkshows and whatnot in Germany to get their fans back! The home-audience means more to them then anything! Their entire producing-team is located in Germany so that's why they record there and because they wanna be with their families again. There's no place like home like a little girl with ruby-red shoes once said!

Sorry, but that´s not what they are doing in the US this month. They are doing concerts. And I can just say it all over again, it´s wrong and useless to play concerts in the US AGAIN. I COULD understand them going to the US for promotion. Because that´s the only way to gain new fans (and that should be the goal). But that´s not what they are doing unfortunatly.

I agree with Mollie. EVERYBODY can see that the boys are homesick. They deserve staying home for a long while.

And I guess, they HAVE to break America again. Because with the new album, it´s Europe´s turn again, with promotion and a new tour. That means the US won´t get as much attention as this past months. Besides of that, I don´t think it´s a bad thing. New album, new luck. For Europe and the US.

Yeah, true you have a point there. But still, the boys will doing interviews HERE when they get here this month. And those interview may air on major American music stations. Which will rake in more fans.

What?!? I've never had them. And I still won't when they get here. : | And if their German fans can't accept the fact the Tokio Hotel have other engagements they need to attend to, then they aren't faithful fans.

If they are so home sick, then why are they coming back? Didn't Tokio Hotel say they didn't like being told what to do. The management can suggest things, but they can't force them to do something they don't want to. I don't think they wil have to break America again. America is totally fascinated by them (they are gaining new fans everyday), so if they are gone for a few months they will be welcoemed back with a new multitude of fans.

But whatever.
IF they do have to break America again it won't be hard for them.

Radio- and phoneinterviews are made and then aired and it doesn't matter what country they're in when they make them. What will rake in more fans isn't concerts but more promo. Universal is going the wrong way with this.

German fans have always been by their side supporting them. There is no wonder that they get disappointed when TH make new plans to go to the US instead of reschedule the canceled dates. The European dates are actually more urgent then the US ones.

And of course you must understand what I say when I say that you've had them for several months! In this case you represent your country not that you've had them in your livingroom!

It takes a long time to get into normal life when you get off the road. They should be allowed to record the new album in peace not travel across the planet! It was said it would come out before Christmas but now it wont. If they did promo it would be understanding but promo can be done from the studio with interviews and stuff. Concerts don't bring in new fans, just the ones who already knows who they are. A new album in the Christmas rush would've been perfect.

I forgot the whole reason why we are debating about interviews. lol. But yeah I guess is the whole point is that no matter where they are, the interviews will reach all the fans somehow.

I know this, but it's not my fault that this is happening.
Actually there are some American dates that were never rescheduled also.

They don't have a normal life. The boys know that.

But yeah you're right, the album coming out during the Christmas season would have been a money making machine. But now they have to hope it will sell good when it does come out. I hope the guys know what they are doing.

which is exactly y they r here.interscope is based here and if they want tobreak america they gotta dowhat interscope says. they cant make them do anything thats true but if they dont then they get dropped.the reason they r here and the reason why we got so much face time is cuz america is hard to break. very hard. it makes sense that they would do more here. germany loved them and the surrounding counries heard more about them. here basicly no one knew of them. its increidble impressive they did so well here. but interscope wanted better sales. so maybe it was interscope that wanted them to add more dated. more then maybe lol. they only had one cd here and nwo they r gonna take a break for a long time. so yea they will have to break america again. maybe not completly since they won an award. but still they willhave to come backand remind ppl who they r and y they r so love in other countries and even here for a bit before they took a break. they need a break. i mean i get tired just looking at them and knowing all they do. im just saying it will hard. for any new band its hard. and taking a break is risky. they completly deserve on cuz most new bands wanting to break america arent huge already in other countries so they have more time to focus on america. these guys work ****ed hard so they should take a break.and in other countries they r probably ok with taking break cuz they are already a house hold name. i mean linkin park went away for a long time then came back likeit was nothing. thats cuz ppl knew and respected them already si it wasnt a big deal. but a new name here doing that isnt risky.

i know they cant be expected to spend more time here doing stuff cuz they r busy with so many other things and havent taken a real break in forever so its not likely that they well keep this up. they should chill out. im just pointing out that by them doing this they might be slightly, not completly but slightly forgotten here.its difficult to explain.

its w/e i just dont get y ppl r so mad with eachother country wise. it makes no sense. it seems that everytime they go to a different country some sort of drama start which doesnt make sense. they wanna be big everywhere which means long travels for months and not being home for a long time. everyone know sthis so y is it like a shock to ppl? y get angry over stuff we all knew already? it makes no sense. im not saying ppl on here r doing this but alot of ppl r claiming TH and idk y. its so strange to me. there r so many american artist that r huge in other countries and ive never heard ok the fans getting mad about that lol. i mean its a good thing. be proud and happy alot of countries want them but claiming ownership over them is just not cool. chill out ppls!

That's what I mean when I say Universal is going about this all wrong! They should give the guys time to finish the record and put it out before Christmas and then do a lot of promo. Concerts only reach the fans that already exists. They need new stuff out there to promote and reach new fans.

And to add new US-dates when so many countries were canceled does sting! The fans are accepting TH going to America and only a minority really bxtch about it. We are however entitled to be disappointed by their behavior. The fact that the US got canceled dates too can not be compared to that many ppl and countries. There are some states in the US that will never get concerts because too few ppl live there.
In the past year Germany got ONE concert and they have a population of over 80 million ppl!

it makes alot of sense to record te cd now and release it then. were they planning to release it in europe and the u.s at the same time? i was saying the other day that it would be cool if they recorded soem of the cd here. not cuz of promoting their stuff but just cuz they could walk down the street with out bein mobbed lol.but thats besided the point lol sorry got off topic. i was saying that in europe they r already so well known. in america they arent. it just makes sens ethat theyr doing this. it sucks i agree. but it makes sense business wise. but im sure right now they r recording and they arent doing that many concerts here so they will just go striaght back after. i mean in my city right now they were #1 on the radio. thats huge! as much as u think he concerts dont make sense, they really do. cuz i swear i know knew 3 ppl that liked them here and now on kIIS fm one of the most listened to staions here in my state if not THE most listened to staion, they were and might still be #1. thats happening all over the states. it makes alot of sense to hve oncerts. htey should sleep for days after these dates tho lol

im not sure if u were talking about their cd releasing durin xmas time would be a good thing cuz it would cell a lot of cds here or alot just for the fact that its during that time but. if u mean just during that time then yea it wold sell alot but not in ameria cuz it wouldnt be releasing during xmas time even if they did release it then. since they wouldnt released the english one till after the german one.they would stil sell alot but the u.s interscope and chart ppl wouldnt be really counting it here since it in other countries.im so tired now so ill shut it lmao. im sure u get me and yea night nigh
