Ok, here is my run down of the Columbus show, which in comparison to the Cleveland and Chicago concerts, literally blew them away.

Monday morning, got up at 5:00 AM. Putting in conctacts let alone wacking on concert eyeliner at that hour of the morning is extremely painful. Ran late, freaked out, met up with the others (about 10 of us), got some coffee, and headed for Columbus (a three hour drive south.)

We got to the venue around 10:00 AM. There were already about 35, 40 people in line. Most were swathed in blankets, with umbrellas and other paraphernalia. I must admit, these guys were smart. I really didn’t dress for the weather well enough. I had heard chilly and possible rain, but optimistically I figured, Columbus = south = warmer. Idiot. It was downright freezing and when it rained, it came down pretty good. I had on a black raincoat and brought an umbrella, but didn’t bring a real warm coat or gloves. Thank god I wore my purple docs, instead of my silver star chucks, because they stayed dry when it rained. So we froze. Why did I dress that way? My friend belongs to the Newport Decibel club, and we had “pass the line” tix. They told us originally on the phone that the pass line would get in quite a bit earlier than the outside line, so I didn’t think we would be out all day. Turns out they were worried about scalpers (if you belong to the Decibel club you can get special tix for a limited amount of events, and we had pass tix and still only paid $50 for four tickets), and wouldn’t give the tix out until right before they let us in, which turned out to be right before 7:00 PM......

So yeah, I was an idiot and I froze. I don’t think I was ever so cold in my life! Luckily there was a Chipotle and a Starbucks nearby, to get some food and coffee and defrost in occasionally. However I did get to talk to some cool people in line. There was about 10 of us in two different lines (regular and pass) and the two girls in front of us in the pass line are from a local Columbus band, Sunset215, and very cool. We had met them previously at the Cleveland concert and they are really nice girls. They were also the most hardcore of the group outside, having arrived at the venue around 3:00 AM that morning. Also got to hang with THDGaja and Mainwen from THDA, and lots of others I had met at the Chicago concert. So it was like old home week at the TH show. And the guys! The mix was about 60/40 girls to guys, which is awesome!!!!! For amusement, we got interviewed on our political opinions for TV, and tried to avoid getting into heated discussions with various drunk street people, especially the nutjob who keep yelling about George Clinton and the Funkadelic and zooming about in his wheelchair, fueled up on JD or something similar.

Finally right before seven (and just as I beginning to believe that I would permanently lose toes and fingers due to frostbite) they let the pass line in, and as stated before in maaaany previous posts, I dislike the pit, so I headed for the right hand side near Georg, where there was an area radiating out from the bar (on either side) that was raised up about 4 feet above the pit, and I was against the railing there. I stayed a little ways back from the stage, and I had a perfect view of the entire stage, above the seething pit area, and was about 12-13 feet from the boys. No one in front of me, and not much shoving. (well not too much, except for the girl who was totally freaked out on Tom.)

It was 8:45 when the band came out. The air was electric, the audience was completely with the guys and it showed in the feedback the band gave us. Bill was ecstatic, he was laughing, talking with the crowd (a lot!) and showing off; Tom and Georg really worked BOTH sides of the stage (especially Tom, he was all over the place last night) and I got some excellent vids of Georg dancing a bit and swinging his bass around, which was utterly cool. The whole band seemed to be having a great time and feeding off the enthusiasm of the crowd. At one point this girl just......screamed, like I have never heard before. Like a primal animalistic scream of “BILLLLLLLLL III LUUUUUUUUUUUV YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” For some reason it just rang out over everything. I started to crack up - all the guys were so close you could see their expressions perfectly, and Bill just shook his head and shrugged, laughing, like “I don’t get it, but what are you gonna do?” He seemed in an excellent mood and was just digging the vibe.

For my own amusement, I have named the Columbus concert the TH Lingerie Show, because all of a sudden, the girl next to me (not just a girl, she was 27) tugged a bra out of her purse and with the force of a major leaguer whips it at the stage. Bill picks it up and starts cracking up. He sings the next song holding the bra. Well, that was enough for the fangirls, because suddenly, girls start ripping off their bras all over the place. One of them nailed Bill square in the back. He in turn draped one over Georg’s mic stand, and one of them, either Georg or Tom, played with one hanging off the end of his guitar for awhile. The one on Georg’s stand stayed for a couple of songs, and you could see Georg trying to read the size as he played and smirked. At the end, they could have opened up their own mall with the stuff that were hurled like projectiles toward them: I counted 8 bras, three or four jelly bracelets, one hoodie, a pair of boxers (?) and a cell phone(!) ???? besides the regular candy, stuffed animals and letters.

The band didn’t seem to want to leave at the end: Bill, Georg and Tom sprayed the crowed liberally with water, threw bottles and towels, and Gustav, who has seemed to not be in the best of moods at the Cleveland concert and only marginally happier at Chicago, seemed super pleased with the crowd this time. He threw about 6 sticks and his towel into the crowd, and then he took his earplugs out and motioned to the crowed for more cheers, which he got in waves. They all were just high with the excitement - the concert at Columbus just sparkled!

THE BAND: lookin’ gooooood! Bill had on silver grey pants with a darker gray stripe, a grey T, short silver jacket, and his belt and suspenders glittered. He also had on a long silver cross necklace and several silver chains. Tom had on a dark grey (?) top that also had glitter on the right shoulder, dark hat and pants. Georg, my god, Georg! He looks like he’s dropped 10 pounds or so, and he is ripped!! He was wearing dark jeans and a top that might have been dark green/brown? Hard to tell with the lighting, but he was absolutely gorgeous. He was so chilled out, and just playing and having fun. And he and Tom were all over the stage, from right to left, and really interacted with Bill and of course Georg did a lot over by Gusti’s drum kit. And Like I said, he was dancing in a circle with his guitar swinging - I have never seen Georg so free before. It was amazing! Gustav was wearing dark pants with a lighter T. He was in such GOOD MOOD I couldn’t believe it. It was awesome to see.

So in all, I froze my bazoombas off, had to listen to a litany from crazy wheelchair guy before the police ran him off, later got overheated, had a girl who was screaming “I lloooooooooooooooooove you Toooooooom!” repeatedly screamed at high decibels into my eardrum every five seconds (I felt for her though, she was so desperate for him to hear her,) got sprayed with Tom and George water (couldn’t avoid it, though I normally do), and had the best view and time of my life. This huge (I mean HUGE) guy got Bills towel, a water bottle and a drumstick, and even though fangirls attempted to rush him, it was like watching bugs buy it on a windshield. No contest. Allison was up front right in the middle, directly in front of Bill, and she managed to get one of Gusti’s sticks, and kept it by shoving down her shirt. ;-) Afterward we all got a chance to “feel up” the holy grail. ;-) Judy was right next to Allison, and she had just gotten this amazing new camera and her vids and pics are absolutely incredible. I’ll post her links as soon as she gets them up.

Finally we got out around 11:00, got the cars, drove three hours home (stopped for utterly greasy breakfast food at Dennys, the only place open at that hour and devoured fries and coffee) and finally make it home through a nice bout of freezing rain at 3:10 AM.

Then I was up, bright and cheery (ok, I lie) at 6:30 to get ready for class. I’m freakin’ tired, but so so so glad I was went.

This was the absolute best show I’ve seen TH play. Seriously. It was a privilege to be there.

I was about four feet above it, and it was like watching an undulating sea - back rush to the front, side to side. People just got lifted up, carried and set down, just like the ocean. I was weird to see. After about 40 minutes into waiting for the band, a lot of people were getting out, and during the concert a lot were carried over the barricade. A friend of mine was right in front at the barricade, and she said it was manageable till the last half hour, and then it got really tough.

It's kind of hard to describe. It seemed like it was bad (to me anyway) but instead of pushing me back it pushed me forward. I got to like the very front without even trying. But maybe it just worked that way for me o_0 I don't know, it was weird.

Bill picks it up and starts cracking up. He sings the next song holding the bra. Well, that was enough for the CFFS, because suddenly, girls start ripping off their bras all over the place. At the end, they could have opened up their own mall with the stuff that were hurled like projectiles toward them: I counted 8 bras, three or four jelly bracelets, one hoodie, a pair of boxers (?) and a cell phone(!) WTF???? besides the regular candy, stuffed animals and letters.

So in all, I froze my t*ts off, had to listen to a litany from crazy wheelchair guy before the police ran him off, later got overheated, had a girl who was screaming “I lloooooooooooooooooove you Toooooooom!” repeatedly screamed at high decibels into my eardrum every five seconds (I felt for her though, she was so desperate for him to hear her,) got sprayed with Tom and George water (couldn’t avoid it, though I normally do), and had the best view and time of my life.

OMG I'm so jealous!! They obviously were not happy in Atlanta!!! We got none of that and none of Tom humping his guitar. He stayed basically in the same spot the entire time except a couple of times he went over to Bill and then back to Gustav.

Next time I'm going north where the fans show them they are loved here!!!!!

I love Fanmamma for getting such awesome video in the pit of doomly awesomeness

Fanmamma is one of our group. She had a really great new camera, and her photos and vids came out awesome. Also for some reason she had a lot of pics of Bill's crotch
On the way home we were like, "Hey here's one. Oh, and another one. AND ANOTHER ONE!" ROFL

She claims it's cause he was so close and the shoving caused her aim to be bad. *heh*

heeey! I was like one of the first in line at this show. it was so fluffing freezing all day. I was like UUUUUUGH! but it was soooo worth it though! omg. :D

I was in the pit at this concert. 2nd row in front of Tom for most of the time. during Raise Your Hands Together/Ready Set Go it got PRETTY bad though. like it was the worst crowd out of all the TH shows I've ever been to by far, and it was my 5th one. like... I think somebody bit my elbow. I'm not even kidding, I hope I don't have fangirl rabies... HAHAHAHHA!

I was sooooooooo close to catching Tom's guitar pick each time he threw one out! haha like it almost seemed like he was aiming at me... but I suck at catching things sooo... w/e!

and the whole bra attack during Raise Your Hands Together/Ready Set Go made my LIFE HAHAHAHAHAHHA! one like hit Bill in the ***/back LMFAO and he was like carrying one around and then put it on mic stands and stuff. wow they are so awesome! really. I'm so glad I made it to this show. I felt like I was part of Tokio Hotel history.

grr each and every time I see this band in person, I just keep liking Tom more and more. when I was like having a pretty ****ty time in the crowd during some of the last songs (it really did get kind of bad), it was almost like he actually looked concerned for me. it was cute and made me happy hahaha! :)

and I got some really awesome videos too! like I'm quite proud of them. I can't believe I managed to hold it so still in THAT crowd and still watch the show. but yeah, I'll post them later!

oh and is it just me, or am I the only person that gets a little ****** off at people screaming like "I WANT YOUR BABIESSS!!!" or "LET'S HAVE SEX!!!" in German over and over again when Bill is talking before Don't Jump and stuff? sure, it's fine after songs or whatever, but seriously, can "fans" just have a little more respect for Tokio Hotel as musicians? I mean, yeah they are obviously hot, but they aren't on stage just for your sexual fangirl enjoyment.

^ yeah idk... I just got kind of really ticked at that during this show. but other than that... it was SO AWESOME! and Bill got another one of my senior pictures hahaha!

I spotted you in the crowd once or twice. You were like 2-3 people to my right and about 1 or 2 farther forward. :)

I also agree that some of the obsessive screaming was obnoxious. You could tell who was there for the music, and who was there for other reasons. And what was with the bras?!? None of the TH boys need breast support... at least not right now. Maybe next year security shold check for additional bras in purses instead of weapons! We Ohio fans are fantastic!

The concert was amazing, though. The reason why I got so much enjoyment out of the experience was because you could just tell that the band was enjoying themsevles as well as the fans!

I somehoe ended up right infront of th speakers on Tom's side... and I'm still feeling the after effects!

I was pretty miserable all day... cramps. >.<
But I brought a super-warm coat and so the cold didn't really get to me.

I still honestly think the concert in Chicago was better - but then again, that might be because it was my first concert EVER, and so its more memorable and such for me. More adrenalin and whatnot, ya know?

I met some überTASTIC people there too.

I'll post the pictures my mum got later.

^ I also think the Chicago show was generally better! well... to me it was. and no, not just because I got into the signing after.

but this show was still really really awesome and better in it's own ways. like it was probably definitely the most INSANE Tokio Hotel show I've ever been to with the crowd being the worst of the 5 that I've been in and the whole bra thing HAHAHA it was fun.

I didn't like the layout of the stage that much this show though... the monitors, etc were like close to the edge of the stage and it was kind of smaller, therefore I thought they didn't come to the edge and rock out really close as often as they did in Chicago. idk.

oh and the Scream siren was SO LOUD this time. it like hurt my ears.

haha oh no. I could never do balcony. even though sometimes the pit gets rough... it's just like where I like to be. I went insane one time being far away from the stage at an All American Rejects/Fall Out Boy/From First To Last/Hawthorne Heights show. haha!

it wasn't necessarily the pushing/roughness... more how ignorant and crazy some people were in front of Tom. like way more so than at all the other shows I went to. hahah if I wasn't such a nice person usually, I would have started wacking some girls with my purse or something for screaming "TOM I WANT TO HAVE SEEEEEEX I LOVE YOU TOM AAAAAH!" like every 30 seconds  it was kind of funny. Tom didn't even acknowledge them either and seemed almost sympathetic towards me at times LMAO

but the show still was really awesome. Bill was so perky haha :D

This was by far the best concert I've ever been to, I knew they were amazing live but they completely blew me away. I still feel like this experience didn't really happen! I cannot wait till they come back again! I hope they keep Ohio on the bill, I mean come on look how much fun they have here! That bra toss was absolutly hilarious! It's been four days and I'm still out in lala land with all this amazingness flying around in my head!

I got to Columbus around 5:45 for the meet and greet I won that was suppose to happen at 6 but it seems like everything that day was running late! It had originaly been scheduled for 5:30. Got to go in sometime before 6:30 and had to wait some more but when the guys finally walked out I was just gone. I barely even remember the whole thing! Tom came around first to sign our stuff and he was such a sweet presence to be around! He had a huge smile on his face and he was just so warm! Then It happen, I was completely struck by Bill, I couldn't believe he was standing right in front of me! I couldn't take my eyes off him and when I turned around I had forgotten about Georg who was still standing there!!! I felt so terrible! Georg and Gustav have to get that sort of thing all the time and I hated being a part of it! I was going to have them all sign their pictures inside the CD book but once Bill stopped by I got all flustered and could get it open for them! I just had Georg and Gustav sign the front but I think that's cooler anyway cause now they are right there and the first thing I see when I look at my CD! We weren't allowed to take our own pictures or give them hugs  but when I went up for the radio stations picture I couldn't help putting my arm around Bill's waist. He's so frickin' tiny so I felt like I was gonna break him! I got to experience Bill's beautiful persona though and that makes me so happy! :D

After the meet and greet we had our pick of spots and there was no way in **** I was getting in that pit! I'm glad they had areas just off to the side but still way close. We picked the first table on Tom's side and it couldn't have been a better spot! It started out as a struggle with people trying to practialy shove us out of their way but we got to sit for the whole waiting time and managed to save our late friends some spots. With the table being there we had no one directly in front of us once we stood up and we also had extra room behind because of the chairs. That made the view and feel simply amazing!

When that curtain finally did drop I believe I entered heaven and I never wanted to leave! They put on an outstanding show and everyone in our group enjoyed themselves emensly! The original tickets we had bought went to my boyfriends friends from work, they happen to be the only people we even know of who've heard Tokio Hotel. They weren't huge fans before the concert but liked their music so they were all for going. After seeing the show they were impressed themselves and my buddy Kieffer was raving about it and wanted to pick up their CD after. He even caught one of Georg's water bottles! He snagged it right out of the air, it was rather ridiclous!

After we left we were broke so I couldn't get a shirt, I really wanted that tight "and I was there" shirt but I settled for a keychain. :) Plain and simple an unforgetable experience! I've been relieving it all week as I've gotten my my pictures together in a slide show. Links below if anyone wants to check it out :) My picture with the band is at the end.

I was on the side on the raised area on the right, right in front against the railing, and the girl behind me screamed hysterically "Tooooooooooom! I loooooooooove you!!!" every 15 seconds or so. I'm not sure how she managed to breath. And of all weirdness, she got there fairly early on our side, and we were on Georg's side, and Tom was across the hall..why the heck she headed to that side when she LOOOOOOOOOOOOVED Tom is beyond my comprehension, unless she was directionally challenged.....*sigh*
