Thank you guys sooo much. =)

I taught myself to draw... You should see my very first portrait though; NOT PRETTY. I just focused on what went wrong in each drawing and work extra hard on that part when trying my next. :) I'm actually still learning.
And of course, good online friends have helped with constructive criticism. :D

That's the only way to learn.

I tried using books and art classes, and it wasn't working for me.

That is very good, the details in the hat and face are excellent! In order to improve it you can add more shading in the neck area.

wow! you are an amazing artist! keep practicing! im like you and taught myself how to draw. for the longest time i was so scared to shade faces darker b/c i thought i would screw it up but i recently drew the veronicas and went all out with shading! it was soo much better than my previous pics! i think you should maybe shade more. but those are some very nice drawings of yours:)
