That's a little over the top there, just a tad.
She didn't even touch Bill...and Bill was going to high-five her back...
Eff that...if anyone laid a hand on me like that, there would be a problem, and a very big one.
I don't know how them Germans do it, but in America, that's harassment.

I love how Bill's face doesn't change, as if its on auto-smile. That was rather rude but considering what some fans have done at signings who can blame him.

My God, I would hate to know what will happen to you if you accidently knock into him on the street if a high five got that reaction. You'll be beheaded.
If I was that girl, I would have totally flipped on him. Security or not. He would seriously get a kick in the shin from me if he touched me.
That's beyond ridiculous.

yes, i am very serious. fans are told not to touch the boys. and the boys are told to do the same! of course, when taking a pic, they will pull you in and stuff. but, for the most part, there is no hand shaking, no hugs, no nothing!

that was beyond ridiculous.. I undertsand it's for the boys' safety (these strict safety measures wouldn't even be applied if they didn't have certain psycopaths for fans) but this was different..
one thing is simply moving her hand out of the way, and a very different one is to not only shove it out of the way but actually keep on pushing it :? ..
maybe i'm over reacting but I just thought that was a little too much..
dude no wonder the boys are so scared of their fans.. because the few who want to have some normal, human contact with them aren't even allowed to.. and unfortunately the crazy ones are the ones who do manage to get a hold of them...
phew..that was some essay...xD

I have to agree with you, when I see meet & greets
of other bands they actually interact with their fans, like the Jonas brothers, they'll actually give you a hug and
handshakes and things and nothing bad ever happens because of it, not only at meet & greets but at signings. They look out for their safety and that all well and good but
how do you expect to keep fans when you can't even high-five them and show the tiniest bit of affection?

Sorry, guys. I am on Tobi's side here. It's his job to make sure no one can harm the guys. How is he to know for sure that ALL she wanted was a hi-five? Maybe if she managed to get close to Bill she would have grabbed on and maybe tried to get closer to him? I'm not saying that's what she was going to do... but is IS securities JOB to keep the fans back. My aunt works in the film industry and she says that's normal with some bands from foreign countries. Not only that but I myself would not want to shake hands, hi-five, whatever with every fan that steps up to me. Gross! I would have to have a HUGE supply of hand sanitizer on me at all times. Tobi was just doing his job. Wasn't Saki let go because he didn't keep the fans back? That's what I heard through rumors and stuff. Keep the crazies back, Tobi (not saying, again, that this girl was a crazy). Not only that but I have heard that Tobi is actually really nice.

I kinda get what you are saying
but I sorta see things differently.
I understand Tobi was just doing his Job and but disallowing something as little as a high-five is kinda sickening. But Im more or so frustrated with the whole "no touching" rule. Like who made up that rule? Im guessing their security team?
Im guessing that the purpose of the security team is to protect tokio hotel from bodily harm and to keep them safe.
but How is a High-five (that Bill himself was even offering to give with a smile on his face) violating that purpose at all? Bill, Tom, Gustav, And Georg are no better than anyone else and at the end of the day we are all Humans.
They outta just carry the boys around in a glass display case.

But honestly, it's a little ridiculous.
'Cmon. Even if she was about to, say, touch Bill's hair, Bill could have swatted her hand away himself if he didn't like it.
And Tobi should know that a young girl extending her hand isn't like, a threat to the boy's life.

from the video it looked bad...really bad...but I don't think tobi is to blame. the man is doing his job...he can't please the fans and still be loyal to his duties.

On the concert in Kempten in 2007, Tobi told us in the very front of the line to sit down. I guess it took a few seconds to long for him, so he just grabed the girl who was standing next to him and told her to go to the end of the line as punishment. That girl slept in front of the venue for 3 nights. She started crying, so he had mercy with her...

France isn´t too bad actually. I mean, yes, everything before the doors opened was chaotic, but inside the 1st block wasn´t full, you could move back and forth the catwalk and there wasn´t any serious pushing...I´ve experienced worse on German concert...Besides I would always pick a soccer stadium over a small venue, I just love huge crowds. PDP was just perfect, the special effects and huge crowd made it the best concert I´ve ever been to!

I watched it too! And I don't think that was very mean; at all---It's not like he smacked her hand away, it was more of a "That's enough of that thank-you" push...
From what you guys were sounding off of; I thought he shoved her or something! LoL!
She seemed like a normal fan; but Tobi was just doing his job---At signings, unless they're signing your body part or something...there's no real need to touch them. Even if they, i.e. the guys want to be touched by you; it will entail further chaos from ANY CFFS THAT MAY BE LURKING IN THE CROWD AND WATCHING!
The man was just doing a polite thing; Just doing his job, no hard feelings there

That was completely over-the-top..
because that girl wasnt doing anything offensive.
She simply held her hand up OFFERING Bill a high-five that he could have either taken or declined.. There was no "touching" going on
I could understand Tobi simply telling her "no" & gently pushing her hand away but forcefully touching the girl was where he stepped out of line.
It was disrespectful & rude as ****.
I understand these body guards have to be cautious & have good reflexes, but having a little common sense and rationality doesnt hurt either. Even though there are some psycho fans out there, for the most part they are dealing with ACTUAL humans here, not Zoo animals that arent able to be reasoned with.
cheskamorales1024
November 5th, 2009, 08:13 AM
in my opinion, it was pretty rude because just like what the others are saying, the girl has no evil intensions and Bill is still a person just like everybody else who cannot be harmed by a high five. I hope the guards will be reminded that the fans are the reason why TH is successful , not because of them , TH's talent won't be known all over the world. I think a high five is already an enough way of showing appreciation . The fan wouldn't be able to meet TH everyday. This was an opportunity for her that was stopped .

I can understand a no touching rule during the signings because it would slow the whole process down. There would be many, many fans wanting something signed, and the boys only have a short time to do it in. So, even saying "Hallo!" really isn't feasible. Having the boys even look at you would be nice, though. Poor guys don't have time to think about even a handshake/high five, so enters Tobi.
I guess if you want to communicate with the boys, a meet & greet would be better? IDK, but I do know signings are rediculously fast.
Besides this vid, you guys say Tobi is cool. IDK from personal experience, so I'll believe you ^_^

Tobi is a good boy
Anyone else believe that tobi is obito.
The eye hole on his mask fits in with the eye left on his face .
His hair is the same style.
Thats all i can think of off the top of my head. :smile
Anyone else agree ?
Err...we're not talking about Tobi from Naruto xD This is Tobi the bodyguard for Tokio Hotel

that video reminds me of bagging groceries at a store. The boys sit there and just pass the stuff down like a little Tokio assembly line, Tom looks at Bill and waits to get the next 'product'
Bill is the scanner
Tom is the cashier
Georg is the bagger
Gustav is the 'thank you for shopping at Tokio Mart, have a nice day!' guy

I watched it too! And I don't think that was very mean; at all---It's not like he smacked her hand away, it was more of a "That's enough of that thank-you" push...
From what you guys were sounding off of; I thought he shoved her or something! LoL!
She seemed like a normal fan; but Tobi was just doing his job---At signings, unless they're signing your body part or something...there's no real need to touch them. Even if they, i.e. the guys want to be touched by you; it will entail further chaos from ANY CFFS THAT MAY BE LURKING IN THE CROWD AND WATCHING!
The man was just doing a polite thing; Just doing his job, no hard feelings there
I agree 100% with you.

I always thought it was too much. When Bill invited a fan on stage .... after this huge gorilla comes and pools little thing like a cop for steeling candy.
But also did you see that Tom got ? mark in his eyes when she did this arm thing to his face too? I thought it was a bit strange gesture from the girl.

Lol, aw. That was a bit over the top :S
She wasn't like, forcing Bill to high-five him... but I guess he was just doing his job. He just could've done it a bit nicer ^^

I wouldn't be surprised if he tackled her down for sneezing in front of him.

^^ LOL!
But yeah, it's possible that he may have been trying to set an example for anyone else that day to not try anything; but maybe he was just startled by her gesture too. Either way, he had peace of mind in doing his job I guess.
If the little girl were to put her hands on Bill in the manner that Toby touched her though... wooowww...
I'm assuming the no-touch policy is supposed to do wonders for the prevention of lawsuits of all proportions surrounding the controversial variances of the concept of "touch."

Knowing me, I'd do that. :/
Am I cruel for shouting HIGH FIVE FAIL as soon as that happened? :(
But seriously, I think that there's a no touch policy for everyone because of some of the CFFs, if you get what I mean?
But Bill was adorable, he just kinda held his hand out and put it back down and just carried on doing stuff with the same smile. o.O
