It's just a small article but it's from Japan!
That's huge............

English translation by Fedy th @ THA

From Germany!

The beautiful front-men - what twins!
Bill Kaulitz (left), date of birth 01.09.89 (19 years)
Tom Kaulitz (right), date o birth 01.09.89 (19 years)
Bill and Tom with their so personal looks tell the origin of the band's name "Tokio Hotel", that took inspiration from our Tokyo. What brothers!
It seems like if they took inspiration by the japanese Visual Kei, but Bill's hairstyle has been lately approved with great votes because of his orginality.
These guys are going to have great things and, even being a german band, they received the award for "Best New Artist" at the past VMAs in America.
Now we must control those guys who have grown up and reached worldwide levels!

That's great! I will expect to see them playing in Japan before too long. I think they'd do great there anyway.

Didn't they try and break into Japan early in their career. But it didn't take. The Japanese thought they were just westerners trying to copy Japanese style so they weren't wow'ed. Isn't that why there's a Japanese version of Durch Den Monsun?

I knew there was a japanese DDM but I didn't know about the other stuff. That's sad, lol.

They were supposed to go over there and play but canceled. If they had done that things might've looked different. I think that was when they got big in the rest of Europe and felt that was more important.
