thats what i mean by territory :P is not state, but you get the fundamental rights under the US constitution and you pay us taxes ;) so its not its own country but that status may change by the end of 2012. the decision would be made to be an actual state, stay as territory or be independent from us. probably other choices too but thats all i know of :mrgreen: lets hope you get what you want to be.

but yes, you are not in United States in the sense that you are not a state ^ ^

Yay, I understand everything except Kravez'/kravchynya :grin: I guess that "Vykladach" means "teacher"? 'Cause we have "nauczyciel" for teacher and "wykładowca" for lecturer ;) "Urzędnik" means white-collar worker, and "piosenkarz" means "singer" ;) We also say "śpiewak/śpiewaczka", but very rarely.

Awe Ukrainians says too: "Den' dobryi" but in those moments when they want to attract more attention. This version sounds more unusual the usual "Good morning" Yes you are right ahahhh lodówka does not sound so funny, but what about the freezer? How will by Polish place in the fridge which stores all the meat and frozen foods?

"Zamrażalnik" or "zamrażarka"... I don't know where have you heard this word and who has said it to you that you think it's funny ;p But maybe someone has given you the word with a bad pronunciation - in Polish there are two versions of sound that is similar to English's "zh" : "ź", which is softer and "ż" which is harder. Example:

"ź": http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/File:Pl-ziemia.ogg

In word "zamrażarka" there's hard "ż". Maybe you've heard a version with "ź" instead of "ż". Then yes, "zamraziarka" ("zamraźarka" to show you that "ź", usually we never write it like this, it's a grammatical mistake) sounds very funny :D. I think that Polish is one of the hardest sounding Slavic language. Czech, Slovak for example are softer ;)
