North Carolina!! possible get-together?

Hey wats up!? I'm from North Carolina! No one here seems to know who TH is, well people in my school at least. I've got one friend that know who they are. (* love ya Alice!*) anyway, would this be a possible plan or not? Is there anyone out there from my area?! :D!! (*btw. i dont have to red-neck type accent. ive got a brit kinda accent*)

hey...its been a while since you posted this but i was about to make a thread and saw this one, so i guess i wont make another.

me and my friends were all thinking it would be really cool to meet some other TH fans from our area so we were thinking there should be some kind of meet up like at a mall or place like that.

i dont know what your area is...so i cant answer that question.

I doubt I'll go anywhere in the south again to see them unless maybe Florida, but highly doubt that. They seem to have a better vibe up north.

Hey guys!!!

I am from Fayetteville and actually my room mate/bff liks TH too!! Not as much as me but she still likes them lol!!! I was lucky enough to go to the Ohio show in August and she went with me!!! It was AMAZING!!!! I know of one other girl who lives in my town Holly(XxHarcorexX or something like that) and then my friend Sierra (Rejects_Angel) lives in Raleigh which is an hour away from me..i have actually met her in real life and she is mad cool and Holly i met as well she came into HT when i was working one day and she is just a sweetheart and is adorable!!! So i think a meet up would be really fun!!! Whoever is gonna organize it please do so and say where to meet and try to make it like a month or two away because HT is a pain in the *** to try and get time off from work...and i am already in trouble with them for wanting to got o Warped Tour on July 23rd. But yeah just let me know and i will try my best to make it!!!

well about a meet up i would love to do one. me and my friends totally always talk about it. but yeah we where thinking at first like a charlotte area one cuz we know that we cant get anywhere else. even though i'd love to! cuz our parents wouldnt really be cool with the whole lets go meet random people thing.(even though you guys are probably totally cool) but going somewhere near by and accidentally running into a mob of TH people would be fine.
(aka not telling them what im really going to)

so if anyone thinks they could come to one in charlotte me and my epic fail of a street team my friends and i never started would totally plan it and try to make it on the best date for everyone.
theres like aobut 5 of us plus like 3 more that will probably tag along but arent really huge fans, just think the musics cool.
and im sure i can find more near by

and we could totally invite the SC people too since its really close(well some of it).

blah i wish my situation was better, i totally have the resources to like stalk TH when theyre here, just no parental consent!!

hey ppls!!

I've been talking to my lil group of TH friends here in Charlotte and we're thinking like early October right before or right after the album is released on the 3rd or 10th. Which are both saterdays in the early afternoon like 1 or 2pm

That gives pleanty of time to get the word out and people to schedule it.
We could have it at a local mall called Carolina Place its in a suburb south of Charlotte called Pineville.
That would be free.
But we could also go to a skate place called Kates thats on extreme east Independence Blvd. aka Hwy 74. easy to find.
Or at a bowling place either in Mattews right outside East Charlotte.

The reason Im talking about these other places is because they allow people to meet up so we wouldnt have to worry about security, but they do cost like maybe $10.(which u wouldnt pay unitl you were actually there)
Tell me if you'd be ok with this. I dont want anyone not be able to comem because of that!!

I could also bring poster and get everyone to sign and send to the guys.
That would be cool.

That sounds good to me...i would say lets do the mall cause then we can like walk around and shop and all that good stuff and not have to pay and entrance fee and all that jazz but whatever's clever. :)

you know what the mall does sound cool...that was what i wanted but my friends were like "no we want to go to the other places" but they dont have accounts on here do they?
so thats what we'll do.

ok im SO SO SO sorry this took me a really uber long time but yea my cross country coaches keep screwing with my schedule! so i didnt know what i was doing and they also decided we needed to have a bunch more Saterday meets (yea not helping!!)
so basically im screwed! i cant make eithier of the dates a mentioned at the times i said! EPIC FAIL!
so if we could have the meet up on OCTOBER 3rd just later in the afternoon
like 4ish or so...im REALLY sorry, geeze i feel like such a jerk!

I live in Morganton...next to Hickory.....I think the closest place I can get to is Charlotte and that would only be for concerts....
there is no one where i live who has heard of TH...only people who have is my bf and that is cause i live with him and he has to hear me singing their songs all day long when he has a day off of work...and he has to deal with me showing him pics or vids all the time lmfao..

and it TH comes close enough where i can drive or if the plane tickets dont cost me an arm and a leg i will go...i went in 2008 to the one in Ohio and my daddy paid for me and my roomate to go and i had the time of my life...they are so much better live and in person so i recommend anyone who can go to a TH concert better go cause especially for us in the US who dont live in NY or Cali it is a once in a blue moon thing so take advantage of it if you can....but yeah it would be cool to do a meet up with some TH fans...i saw a few from the board at the Ohio concert meet up and it was cool to meet people who i had talked to online...one girl was like ''I just wanna give you a hug cause i know you from the forum and you are way cool in person!'' i was so happy lol!!!!

SWEET! well the date for charlotte is July 22nd. im SO glad it wasnt cut like alot of places were this year! but those were mostly in areas like cali were theres a warped stop every two feet but yea, back on topic.

i guess we could all decide to meet up at a certain time maybe before it really starts because warped likes to be obnoxious and you dont know the schedule until you get there the day of and buy a copy(what a SCAM!) so it would be hard to get a big group togther during it because they might be trying to see a band or it turns out we chose a time during like the ATL show or someone else big and n/o if that happend i know i wouldnt show.

But, then we could all meet up after and go to denny's or somewhere around verizon after but i know not all you guys live near by and would have a long drive home. so yea just getting some ideas out there :/
oh and this is really off topic but i was thinking, i've seen cobra starship 5 times! and ive know of TH a whole year longer and havent seen them live EVER! fml. cobra might as well invest in a condo here cuz they come twice a year atleast! just a random thought sry
