Dear American Educational System,
I don't really think that all this work is nessicary. I will dutifully sit in classrooms and be lectured on things I will never use in real life for hours without a break for the next three years as is required by law, but I hope you will give me a break with the homework business.

You want us, the students, to be involved in organizations and activites, but you give us no time to do so! We are told to get enough sleep, study hard and go to classes. That takes up my whole day.

I have interests and hobbies. Yes, I know there is a guitar club. It is a joke. Even the teacher moderator knows it. We had zero meetings last year. ZERO.

Please, hire competente teachers. I know that nobody likes science, but maybe in the future you can hire people who at least have degrees in the subject they are teaching instead of asking an English teacher to teach science.

Maybe you could also ask my french teacher not to sit on my desk, and make me feel like I'm late when I'm right on time. Just because the rest of the class gets there freakishly early it doesn't mean I'm late. And please, I don't like it when the teacher seats me in the front seat. I am one of the top students in his class. I don't need to be in the trouble maker seat. I quite enjoyed my desk in the back.
