P.S. Die neue „Tokio-Hotel“-Single „Automatisch“ erscheint am 18. September.

In just four years, they rosed from a Magdeburg school band to the world's most successful German rock group that sold more than six million CDs, playing sold-out tours around the world.

Bild asked Bill Kaulitz an intimate birthday interview. The rock star talks about

His mirror image
"I am not looking in the mirror and say, 'Wow, are you' ne geile Sau!". I have a normal relationship with my face and my body. I feel good. "

His slim figure
"I eat almost exclusively unhealthy stuff and order me a pizza after another. I don't gain weight...I have to disappoint you, I do not throw up to be so thin....

His fortune
"We earn good money, but we are no multi-millionaires, as many believe. We have extremely large amounts of not making money. Ninety percent of the advertising contracts that were offered to us, I canceled because I think either brands or products were ****. I just want to make things that i feel good about. "

Its luxury
"I spend a lot of money for vacation, which is actually already sick and totally exaggerated. But since I have so little vacation, I want it because I can go really well. "

His status symbols
"As i graduated , I bought me a Rolex bought, although I am not at all interested in watches. I found it just fun to have a Rolex with 18 . Actually, totally stupid. "

His sex life
"I have no girlfriend and sex without love is nothing for me. That is what my brother should waste his time with . At some point he will realize that this whole shagging brings nothing. "

His preferences
"I love beautiful hands. I always look first on the hands. And eyes are very important. The hair color completely does not matter to me. "

His loneliness
"If I am alone after a concert' in my hotel room, I sometimes do not know what to do with me. Then suddenly everything is very quiet. "

His bed-fellow
"My four dogs sleep in bed with me. I could never do without them. The closer they are to me, the more beautiful it is. I can only advise everyone: Take all your dogs in the bed! "

His feelings
"I must admit, there are films that bring me to tears, for example, The Notebook '. Now, many are probably thinking: Hah, we knew it's the gay one who cries by watching TV. "

His faults
"I think I can be exhausting. Sometimes I'm pretty hard in what I say. Afterwards I think in, i should not have done it.

His career end
"After my vocal cord surgery last year, I felt like chucking it all. I thought: Oh God, I will never again hold my face in cameras. But for me there is only music. If I would have to get an education, I do not know in which direction. "

His fears
"Generally, I'm afraid that a person who is close to me, something could happen. Even if to one of my dogs something happen, I could not take it. "

His routine
"I'm totally the night man. During the album production, I was usually till 6 in the morning in the recording studio, and then I got up again in the afternoon. Mostly I see the world only from airports, hotels and our venues. "

His everyday
"I did not shopped for years, I can not remember when I was recently in a supermarket. I even do not know what costs a piece of butter. You can't called it a normal life anymore.

His Birthday
"Tom and I want to celebrate privately with friends and family. In addition, we want to rent roller coaster in the night. Since years we did not do this. We love this ****. "

I always thought that it was really nifty that Bill was a fan of The Notebook because a girl who went to one of my middle schools was in the movie.
And, of course, it's not the typical thing you'd find a guy liking.
(: We know you're not gay, Billll.

Awww. What a cute interview... he has four dogs! It's adorable that he cuddles with his dogs<3 Even though I don't have a dog, I am such a dog-lover!

And The Notebook never makes me cry. For a girl, I'm surprisingly resilient when it comes to movies. But documentaries sadden the crap out of me... I once saw one on CNN about Afghani orphans, who are either killed by disease/hunger/etc. or bombs from the Taliban that controls the area. I bawled my eyes out at that... real-life tragedies are so much worse than anything Hollywood can produce.

I totally agree.
I'd cry durning a documentary way before a sad movie. Like you noting about the children, it saddens me that it's true. It's something about kids (and old people..) that makes me emotional. Even in kid/cartoon movies.
Example: I cried when Mufasa will killed in the stampede of wilderbeasts and when Littlefoot lost his mother to Sharptooth. It was just too devasting.

omg. I still cry when Musfasa dies. it's so sad :sad1:

Isn't it?! He's like RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRR and the animal carries him away and he gets crushed. It's a really depressing scene for a kid movie. ._.

And on topic, I've never seen The Notebook! I still see it sometimes on TV but I don't have the attention span to wait for the sadness to kick in. Anyone wanna fill me in on why it's so sad? The fact that Bill likes it is really attractive. :P It's refreshing to see him being sensitive out in the open. UNLIKE ANOTHER GUY WE KNOW...*cough*Tom*cough*

I know! and then Scar is all "GRAWWWWR YOU KILLED HIM!" to Simba and he starts crying and fruhgauyg :sad1:

I've seen it, but I don't see it sad. I guess it makes people sad when the mum won't give the girl his letters, so she moves on and gets happy with someone else
but I don't get that one scene where she's painting naked on the porch LMFAO who does that? I know I do that in my free time LMFAOOO and when the mailmen comes I'm all "hey there ;)"

she's real quiet though haha she only whines  doesn't growl or bark. doesn't bite either which is good because I've already been bitten by a dog and it wasn't fun

KDNFKDSF! I've always wanted a wolf hybrid(haha, read one of your previous posts) And I've always planned to breed a Doberman with a Husky, cause I love vicious looking dogs, and yea, I'd think that'd be cute.
My favorite breed is a Doberman, but I love my fat little, nugget of a pug. :3

Haha, my dad's always complaining about our dog, and how he sheds too much, or he sometimes pees in the laundry room, yet at the end of the day, they're all, snuggled on the bed, watching old movies, and my dad's all "Aaaw, look at that pampered ugly dog, look at him." and rubbing his stomach and stuff.

I love big dogs, too. Like, 'Dogs on stilts" like, Deer Hounds, or Greyhounds.
Or Bully Breeds, like Dobermans, or Pitbulls. <3

I've always wanted a German Shepard. I love it when they stand so perfect, and stiff, it has a beautiful pose. My cousin's neighbor has one, and when it's outside at night, it totally looks like a wolf. :)

Hahaha, I'm surprised Bill doesn't have a rabbit, or something cuddly, and small.

We asked our vet about it recently, and she said it's normal, and usually well behaved/trained dogs are like that. Yea, my dog has had absolutely no training, and has been taught only how to sit, speak, and give paw.
And, he get's all excited when we go by dogs that are male, and he simply sniffs the females. :P

I loved this interview for some reason. It was somehow a bit brutal, very open and even if the questions are pretty basic ones, Bill gave us personal answers and the whole picture for after reading this was like I intruded his personal territory. He let us do so, but still.. Well, interesting.... Confusing...

Idk, its just the way I feel him talking.
Seems like he's lonely and bored, just not very happy.
I don't know if I can really say that though, since its not video.

I can totally understand you. I get a same imprression. It corroborated some of earlier impression... or it might be just only me. It feels to me like he's seen it all already. LIke what fame can really give him anymore?

Oh, and I didn't know he has four dogs? That's sweet. But I have to disagree with Bill about letting dogs sleeping in bed. Even if it might sound and feel nice, it's a one part of the leadership issue. Just like eating order etc. Well, at least my Rottweiler doesn't sleep with me, because I couldn't fit myself if she'd be there streching her legs and kicking my face with her claws, and actually she has no business not so ever into my bed. But I let her sleep on a couch, I'm softy :-)

I like this interview a lot. It sounds more sincere to me. Not that he never sounded sincere before, but this just seemed more like he was talking to us you know?

And I agree somewhat about the dog thing! My chihuahuas (Macho and his daughter Chloe) aren't allowed in the rooms, but usually I lay on the sofa and they'll sleep with me if I get super comfy with my Mickey quilt. It's nice! But I wouldn't let them in my bed though. I've had my school uniform peed on once, and that's never happening again! lol

I've heard that, too, from several trainers. Dogs are pack animals, the people and animals of your household are the pack and you need to be the Alpha dog, which means making sure everyone else knows their place beneath you. So they're supposed to stay out of your personal areas, i.e. bed, otherwise they'll see it as their own personal territory.

I guess it's true in a sense. When we remodeled our house a couple years ago, I spent 6 months sleeping in the living room. I tried to move in with my dog. We actually had a real twin mattress on the floor as a bed for him because he was so old and arthritic. There was enough room for the both of us, but he absolutely would not share. But that's probably because it had always been just his. So I had to sleep on the uncomfortable couch.

But I am way too much of a pushover. The dog I have now, all he has to do is give me the puppy eyes look and I let him do whatever he wants.

I think we all are a bit soft and melt down on every puppy eyes-look, no worries

I just had to learn to put the limits as my dog is so dominant that it'll be constant fighting if I didn't do that eventually. I had to learn it by hard way unfortunately. Now she's already 7yrs old lady, so she's not even that interested in alpha role anymore.

OMG the dog talk! I simply must butt in!

Well our first dog, Suzy, she was just like yours Char, totally verbal. She'd like go "wowooowwoooo!!!" and like talk to us, and we'd ask her questions and thats how she'd answer. She was a German Shepard and Dobermann mix. My sisters used to dress her up and put makeup on her too, and she just sat there, as though she enjoyed it. XD She also enjoyed drinking warm tea.

Penny was the second dog, she was a pure sweetheart. But she'd wake me up every day for school. She'd put her huge paws on my bed and lick my face. ^^ She was all motherly too, and she'd lick the **** outta our bunny.

Aris was our first male, the biggest softie you'd ever meet. He was all big and hairy and brute-like, but he was cuddly as a bear. When in the summer I slept on the floor *don't ask* he'd lie next to me. And he liked getting his neck scratched. <3

Max is our second male, and he's such a diva. He was spoiled rotten as a puppy and now he just loves getting petted and I swear he could play for HOURS. And he moans when you don't pay him attention. And like nudges you and all that, just to make you pet him. >_> And sometimes he gets aggressive, but that's OK. I used to have him on my knees, now he doesn't seem to want to. I'd let him sleep on my bed, the other dogs have, but he steals things so I don't let him.

HAHAHA I love how dogs all have such different personalities. lmao sometimes I think my Mandy thinks she's human I swear.

and haha Mandy is more like my sister/friend. she still listens to me and is pretty obedient but if anyone scolds her and is the 'Alpha dog' it's my mom... hahaha! she'll still get off of my bed if I tell her too though. all I have to do is be like "Mandy! get down" and she understands and gets down right away. haha

and she hates strange men too. like a woman that has never been in my house she won't care about. but if it's a guy that's at our house for the first time she won't stop barking until she warms up to him and gets to know him HAHA she doesn't bite though. she's nice but just a big scaredy cat of the seemingly more threatening male species or something hahaha. she just barks and tries to sound all badass but it sounds more like she's scared.

she's also one of those dogs that get total anxiety during thunderstorms. like she'll get so close she'll be literally attached to and on me as soon as she hears booming outside.

hahaha I love telling dog stories

Suzy was a real sneak though, when the family left she'd sit on the couch and get off before they came back, cause she'd hear their car, and when they walked in, she'd lie on the floor all innocent like, but they'd know she was sitting cause the couch was still warm.

And Penny once ate mum's cheesecake, and it was a homemade one, very expensive, with the cream cheese and all. Mum was so horrified that she hasn't made one since.

I was lucky with my latest dog. I got him from a shelter and he'd been there for 15 months, since he was a puppy. He wasn't house trained and he had no manners whatsoever. And after being in a small kennel his whole life, he was like the proverbial bull in a china shop when I brought him home.

But fortunately, he is highly intelligent, so training him was fairly a quick and easy task. He's also naturally submissive, so if I have to tell him no about something, he listens, even if it's something he's accustomed to doing. So because of that I don't feel guitly spoiling him. If he had a more stubborn personality, I would have to take a firmer hand. It wouldn't be good to have constant power struggles.

I know what you mean. They are all personalities and should be treated as individuals. It's so nice that you got your dog from a shelter. I've been talking to my husband to get another dog from a shelter, but he refuses to even think about a second dog.

I had a golden retriever before and she was very soft dog, very easy to train and so on, so I kind of failed at the beginning with this rottweiler I have now. She is an angel as long as she knows who's the alpha on our family. I spoiled her too much when she was a puppy because she was so cute, but fortunately all those mistakes I made has been more or less fixed with a hard work. She still barks sometimes on a leash and doesn't approve all stangers, but otherwise she's my little sweetheart.

The only thing I haven't been able to conquer with my Pit Bull is his 'eagerness' towards other animals. Pits were bred to be agressive towards animals, but I wouldn't call this aggressiveness, because it's not angry or defensive. He just really wants to play. And when we're out walking or driving in the car and he sees a dog or cat, he goes nuts and will try to run at it and jump all over it. Most of the time other dogs (and definitely cats) don't see that as a friendly gesture, so I have to keep him leashed at all times when we're out. It took me a month to get him used to my cats and now they play and sleep together just fine, but new animals excite him way too much. I'm hoping that he'll grow out of it since he's still young.

If you do decide to get a shelter dog, take a look at this site. This is how I found my baby.

HAHA I used to have a German Sheperd and a Basset Hound, and I ALWAYS let them sleep on my bed. I couldn't fall asleep if they weren't  and then I got up at six AM just for them because they usually had to go to the bathroom, and my basset hound always scratched on the door and whined/moaned SO LOUDLY I woke up haha.
and my german sheperd was like a human! haha she'd know when I was sad and she'd come up and nudge my leg like "it's okaaay!" and my basset hound, he'd come and plop right on me so I could pet him til I felt better haha.

I love my greyhound a lot though, and I'd love it if she slept on my bed but she doesn't like stairs (I don't know, I think it's too much for her) so she stays downstairs. she sleeps on the soft carpet in the dining room so I don't worry too much haha.

Whenever we actually eat dinner together, which is rare, if there is a left over seat at the table, our dog, will bark at us, until pull it back, and he'll hop on, and just sit there, sometimes with his paws on the table.
And if there aren't any left over chairs, he'll just stair at you, and sort of huff, and stomp his feet, so you'll get off, or make room.
