Heart has faded into yours
Mind has faded into yours
Soul isn’t fading
My body is too cold to fade

Eye lids coming closer together
Time isn’t flying
Ending is tomorrow
Day has faded

The Pulse

Pulse of blood
Heart is a drum with no rest
No silence

Blue in my veins
Red in the air
Thick
Pumping

The pulse never ends
Heart never ceases
Silence is impossible
Blue rushing
Red dripping
Pumping out

The pulse has stopped
