Musical heir to Ziggy Stardust
Tokio Hotel in the New York Times. “As musical heir to Ziggy Stardust, U2, and Tears for Fears, this German glam-rock band brings its androgynous yearnings to songs steeped in science fiction and bubble gum rock, and it already has a stadium-scale following in Europe. Its second album, “Humanoid,” aims for arena singalongs here too. Oct. 6 release on Cherrytree/Interscope” – The New York Times, Sep. 14, 2009

I know WTF??? TH is not a glam rock band... and not of them are into androgynity.
Seriously, that sounds like a description for CB and not TH.
I just don't understand why they can't see past the image and past Bill. This really upsets me. *sigh*

why are they still being called **** like "bubble gum rock" when they have a hardcore SEX song now?!?!? AAAH! I'm so frustrated.
I guess that just means they'll have to write an even dirtier sex song then to permanently get out of those stupid labels. you hear that? get to it Bill! ;)

I didn't even know who Tears for fears were but I took a listen to them. Wtf. That's an insult to TH if they are even compared to them. TH are way better than that crap. I couldn't even get through a whole TFF song. lol

uuugh don't even get me started on them being compared to the Jonas Brothers! haha other than the way their fanbases are... no. just no.
I personally think their vibe/line up is much more like MCR's (Way brothers anyone? ;)). and their music is much more like The Rasmus'.
