Anyone know how big the Gothic Theater actually is? Or the setup? It looks more like a club to me - I'll be happy if it's kinda small, just because I prefer smaller venues... but yeah. :)

and I definately think it looks like a club too.
I heard it has good sound, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere.
It might be small though since it's their first concert
here and they wanna see how we are.

I'm guessing that they are having it at the gothic in englewood
instead of somewhere in downtown denver because on august 25 that's the same day that the democratic convention starts
and downtown denver is gonna be crazy

Well, Ticketmaster has the ticket info for Chicago, one of the Texas venues, and the New Jersey show info up. I can only assume the others will come later. :)

I recently found out the Democratic Convention is going on that week, so practically all hotels are booked to maximum capacity within a fairly decent radius around Denver (mammoth sentence, sorry!).

Doesn't bode well for other people coming in to see the concert from out of town. :(

I haven't spotted anything listed on ticketmaster, so either they'll show up closer to the sale date later this week, or you'll have to buy them through the GT site only at first.

I did too! :D I kept refreshing the ticketmaster page until it showed the tickets were available at 11 (I'm one hour ahead). XD

I think it's going to be a standing concert, just because when I hit "best available" it gave me a general admission ticket. :|

I REALLY don't want to deal with a huge line outside the Gothic, so I'll probably drop by in the early afternoon to make sure people aren't lining up already. -__-;; *was planning on getting there about 5:30-6:00*

Doors open (I think) at 7. My aunt has to be at a meeting around 6:30, so I think I'll just ask her to drop me off early. :)

I don't know if you have to drive through downtown Denver to get to the Gothic, but if you do, tell him you want to leave early because traffic's going to be nuts (the Democratic convention).

I think we'll be fine regardless with such a small seating/standing area, but I agree that the closer to the stage, the better. :D

I don't know when they would have shipped the tickets - you may want to call Ticketmaster to make sure when the tickets were shipped if you haven't gotten them yet. I would think it'd take until about Thursday until you got them, if they mailed them Monday. :S

It's not a great number, but quite a few people are dragging their parents along. One of the girls (who I think is an admin) also mentioned the idea that there might be 'campers'. I really, really hope there aren't. -__-;; I'll attempt at going by the theater that morning just to check, because that would put a serious damper on my mood. *sigh*

I just hope there isn't a ton of pushing... this isn't Europe, and there shouldn't be a bunch of crowding, but I'm not sure how popular Tokio Hotel is in Colorado. :S

Yeah but i'm guessing that happened because alot of people had bought there tickets to the show that they had to cancel and now the venue still honored the old tickets and that's why there was probably only a few left to be bought so that's why it sold out quicker. *EDIT* nevermind Hikarist beat me to it lol

Blarg... I wish they hadn't done that. ;__; I think it's so more tickets will sell (at a guess), when people realize they can go without parents.

Ahahaha.... it's scary that I can hear him making that noise as I was reading your post. XD That wasn't the noise I was talking about (though it IS vurruh cute!)... I can't remember where he does it, so let's just say it's the noise he would make if someone poked him in a ticklish spot. :D
