last year the boys dropped their Scream album on the sixth of May! I didn't become a fan until the end of May!!!! had i known about the band since the beginning of the year, i would have been able to go to all of the east coast gigs they had at the time!!!! But, that's the past!!!
now, there is their US visit and upcoming US tour to look forward to!!!! I'm soooo happy!!!!!!!

me too. I didn't learn about them till this summer which means I missed everything they did last year. They even had a concert in Chicago less than 30 minutes away from me but I didn't know they existed
But...the past is the past and when they come back, I'll be waiting. Come back to the windy city soon! :D

If they're starting with Europe in February/March, that means they definitely won't get to Canada by March... that is if they actually come to Canada. Awwh... I was hoping to see Tokio Hotel on my birthday in March :(
But as long as they come to Canada, I'm happy.

sry that I'm Off-Topic now but for all who think that the news about TH being in the german TV-Show "Willkommen bei Mario Barth" is false:
TOKIO HOTEL WERE IN THIS SHOW AND IT'S TRUE!!!! I'M A MEMBER IN THE GERMAN FANCLUB FORUM AND NOW IT'S CONFIRMED THAT THE BOYS WERE GUESTS THERE AND PERFORMED "GEISTERFAHRER" (UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS PLAYBACK)!
A GIRL WROTE IN HER BLOG ABOUT HER EXPERIENCES IN THIS SHOW (SHE GAVES THE TICKETS FOR THIS EVENT HER MOTHER AS A PRESENT). SHE WAS VERY SURPRISED WHEN SHE SAW THE BOYS THERE AND NOBODY HAD KNOWN THIS BEFORE!
THE SHOW IS ON TV at 24TH OCTOBER AND BEGINS AT 22:15pm (MEZ)
(sry but I thought that I had to make that clear for you xDDD and: sry for my bad english >.<)

Can I open my heart a little here? I don't know what is a right topic for it? Sorry guys :-D
Yes, I am extremely happy about the concert and it looks like I'm going. But I also hate it... in a way... I'm that kind of person, who worries of everything, even things I can't do anything about. I take some weird responsibility for making everything perfect for everyone. I love this concert, but I can already sense a terrible stress about it. This sounds funny and weird, but it's just the way my mind has beenm built.
I know the venue is not going to be sold out. We would need a big support on audience from Sweden and/or Estonia and not likely to happen in that scale. I would just HATE to let them come here and perform on half sold venue. I don't want to disappoint them. Now I feel stressed, because I know I can't do anything about it, but I still want everything to be perfect for them.
I've done this same many, many times before with different bands and I hate this in me. I hate feeling disappointed and even more I hate to see others feel disappointed. Half of me wishes they wouldn't come here, so I wouldn't need to feel bad about it. This is probably not making any sense?
Okay, I'm done.. just wanted to say that this is exciting and terrifiening at the same time. :-( :-)

This is often how I feel about concerts as well. I live in Wales and bands sometimes tend to go just to London, but when they do play Wales I get stressed thinking "what if it's half empty, they will be justified in not coming back here again". I keep thinking if Tokio Hotel play London, I hope it sells out so they come back again, but also I hope I am in time to get tickets! It's a stressful way to live. :?

Amdee, I see what you are saying. You would hate for them to go to there and then later they won't consider going to that country or place again. That would be a big gunshot to the chest. I guess the only thing you will need to do is make it the best concert as possible while you are there. After that, pray that they will come back.
I.E. That's what I'm doing right now. I hope they come back to the ATL. People were saying the ATL concert atmosphere or yadda yadda yadda wasn't that great. If that's the case, I'm gonna go cry now. ):

Yeah, I know :-( It sucks to have a character like this.. Always worried and trying to make thing perfect for others. Like I still feel bad, because we couldn't get Humanoid #1 on official chart even if I bought 2 albums (English Deluxe & German basic) nd itäs totally irrational and stupid, but still. I just want them to be happy and proud of their job.
So I guess we both make our best to make some noise and that's all we can ask ourselves. :-)

Yup same as me. I know it's being irrational like you have said. I just worry about things like that. I was upset about the chart position because I was so positive that it would be higher charted than it did since I bought two albums as well. I guess charting is better than not charting. idk
I did overreact though. grr

because I didnt want a winter tour. If they would do the tour in like may, the weather would be warmer, and since I plan on going to multiple shows, traveling would be easier..

They also should go and do promo in Asia and and a lot of other countries outside of Europe and the US if they now have released the album there and might tour there. So just because there are, to us, no plans there might still be.
They also seem to have a late vacay starting late December and maybe this time they will take more then 2 weeks since this time they will truly make a world tour. That counts January out.
Darkblue
October 23rd, 2009, 07:10 AM

At the frontpage you can have the impression that they are starting their touring on February 22nd and I highly doubt they are doing US before that.
http://www.tokiohotel.com/us/#news/tokio-hotel-huge-welcome-to-humanoid-city-european-tour---353.html
But what about promos in Asia or in Latin America? Possible, I think...

HAHA I would seriously not be surprised if they did some US dates/things before their European tour. that's how it is with this band now I guess. every time you start being like "oh they won't come to the US again this year... no way." they DO! and you're like "holy ****" I mean that's what it was like ALL of last year...
exactly! remember when they came back for a month after their VMA win? no one was expecting that! there were rumors. but, most fans were shocked! Lol!!!!
I can see the same happening.

IDK, I have a feeling they'll be back. The promo they did this week wasn't enough. They need to do more shows and radio promo.
I don't think they'll do any full concerts in here before Europe though.

From the looks of their dates for the euro tour..it looks like they will be hitting euro first then usa or something after...

I mean they never really did a ~Humanoid~ tour concert, it was more promo and they didn't sing all the songs, and they did say they'd be back. >__>

I think they've said to do LOndon 2010? Wasn't it at some interview/news/somewhere that they are going to Latin America etc and they said they'll go UK too this time?
I'm 95% positive they're coming to London next year :-)
Edit.
"Universal Music Germany’s Ballin says South American markets are also a priority this time around, and an initial push in Asia is planned for next year. Even the United Kingdom, which now stands alone in declining to embrace the band, will receive the full Tokio Hotel treatment in 2010."

I am little bit worried about the ticket selling numbers... at least here. It felt terrible to see, how slowly they are selling now. And please, in April 2008 7000+ tickets sold and now they are performing on venue of 12 000 people knowing that popularity has been discreasing since then? Plah... I bought tickets for Zurich this monday morning! Me and my friend will go to Zurich a day before the concert, get in line early in the morning on the concert day and leave Zurich a day after the concert. That´s the plan anyway...We might also go to Genf (don´t know the English word for that city LOL), but that depends if my mother and her boyfriend´ll go with us (just like they did for Paris^^)
All the dates are confirmed now, by the way! Does somebody want to edit the start post or should I make a new Humanoid Tour Thread in the concert section?

I really understand your feelings. I think the selling numbers for the concert in Holland also going to be less than normal. I'm already worried. Actually I think everywhere in europe. The concerts in Germany, Belgium and Luxemburg are also not sold out yet.
But I think its better that it happens everywhere than only your/my country.
Edit: By the way, my tickets for Oberhausen are coming tommorow. ^^ But there won't be anybody home so I'm afraid something goes rong or something. I know it won't, but still.. I'm stressed. xD

But the German concerts are selling pretty well, I think. There already are no standing tickets left...I´ve also heard that Luxemburg and Vienna are almost sold out and I also wouldn´t worry about all the French and Italian concerts...
The only thing that pisses me off is, that there are only 2 concerts in Germany. I mean I get it, they lost a lot of fans here, but they could at least play a couple of more in other parts of Germany, not just in the northwest...They own it to us. But I´m not gonna get into that topic any further, it´s not worth being upset about it. Not that we could do anything about it...

That is so true. I was surprised about concerts in Germany compared to Italy, France etc.
I was analyzing and over-analyzing the situation to my husband last night (and he probably didn't listen half of it) and I hate to be worried. It is f*cked up that I should be excited and I can't be, because I worry about things I can't do anything about. I've done my part when bying two cd's and one concert ticket. That's all I can do. But still... From the very beginninig everyone were saying that the venue is too big for them here. I hate to see it half empty.
So welcome to Finland everyone! :-D
Btw. I also think that it has been a little too ambitious to book so overly big world tour. Like in Scandinavia... Norway, Denmark, two in Sweden, Finland... And knowing that Humanoid selling numbers hasn't been THAT high. They are definitely fighting in a very hard cathegory with their music. The problem is how to get new fans, renew their fanbase. Ok, I have to shut up, because this is just whining again.

I'm excited for all you Euro people. 8D
I'd love to go see one of their huge Euro concerts--they're rumored to be the best--but right now, the dollar is flailing behind the euro.
It would cost me about $1,500 to go to Nantes to see them and stay two nights--arriving on the 19th and leaving on the 21st. Maybe France is just more expensive to get to or something? I don't know. I wouldn't feel comfortable going to any other Euro nation because I only know French and English. (I have this thing against going to places if I don't know the language. I think it's probably the worst way of insulting a country and its people). I picked Nantes because my spring break is a week earlier than Vicky's, and that would be the only time we could go together...
[/end long ramble]

I agree. I think they might be making a mistake with expecting so many people to turn out. It seems like a lot of people are rejecting their new sound. I'm not saying that they won't have sold out concerts; I just think they're getting ahead of themselves. It might have been better to do a small tour to test the waters, and then come back later with something HUGE.
And from what I understand, is most of Europe sick of TH? I've heard a lot of Europeans are tired of hearing/seeing them all the time, and are really fed up with their fans.

This is just my personal opinion and I've observed only from my personal point of view, which means that I can be very wrong also, but...
Tokio Hotel was THE thing around 2006-2007 in Europe, maybe at the beginning of 2008. As we look at the fanbase, I'm sure we all know that most of them move very fast what comes to their favorite music, bands etc. Like music trends. That makes TH:n position very problematic. They are fighting to maintain their position and in Europe it looks like it's starting to collapse. They've been on the top of their genre here for so long as concidering their target group. A time 2006-early 2008 was a time when it was "cool" to listen TH. After that there has been new bands, artists and basic rules of music business has happened.
For what I see, the support of TH has now divided. There are haters and people with no opinion as there has always been. Most of the "I'm listening cool music, because it's cool" are gone. The fanbase is smaller, but extremely loyal. "The old school" is making as much noise as they've made always, just the numbers are smaller, because trendy listeners are gone. The position is terrible for them and I'm sure they've had countless of meetings to think what should they do, where they should continue. They have a reputation of being TokioHotel. It doesn't matter what kind of music they are doing because they are.. TokioHotel.
TokioHotel = screaming teenage girls drooling and acting like rabid dogs. It's almost impossible point to start doing something else. They are "the Twilight of the Europe" what comes to their fans.
I don't blame people who are not interested in TH anymore, because it happens all the time, but they really need renew the fanbase, but instead they are prisoners of their own reputation in Europe. It makes me really sad. How long can a smaller group of loyal, long time fans maintain this band? I think this is the main reason they are aiming to the US, Latin America etc. because they know that Europe is slowly sinking boat. Either they grow bigger in other parts of this globe or they have to slow down and rethink their position and size of everything. It's very much a financial question too.
So I don't know. As being either obsessively loved or deeply hated is a problem. I mean.. If we look at the concerts of Madonna, Metallica, U2, even Pink or Britney Spears, they are concerts which are not crowded only by loyal fans, but big part of the audience are people thinking "nah, I guess it's okay", but by no means concidered as FANS. TH has not that luxury. They have only their fans and they are depended on fans. It's dancing on the edge of a knife all the time.
I don't know what I'm saying anymore, but sorry if I got to the sidetracks too much :-) . Just wanted to say that it's so extremely hard music genre they are fighting in and I do feel terribile to see all this happening all the time. I don't envy them, they are doing difficult decisions all the time. And all I want to see is to see them happy with their job and I hate it that I can't do pretty much anything about it.
Edit. I've "stalked" the number of users on this forum for a little while now. It grows everyday. Of course many registered users are not writing anymore or not even interested,l but there are 3-10 new users every day or even more. What does it mean? Does it mean anything?

First of all, I give you RESPECT for sitting and typing that all out! :D
Secondly, I couldn't agree more.
I think that TH's fanbase is now mainly teenage girls drooling over the hotness of Bill .. it's quite disheartening :/ Although I do agree with the girls haha.
TH have got themselves the reputation of a pop/emo German band aimed at teenage girls around europe. Noone who isn't a fan takes them seriously.. If they just gave them a chance, they'd realise they make pretty **** amazing music!
But it's almost like th aren't recognised for the true music anymore :/ And soon, their small fanbase could start disintegrating. Fans could give up! Not true fans though. :) But fans who have liked them from the start could quit as TH and it's fanbase change.
Gaaaah. :( I will love them forever anyway!!! :D:D

Thank you! :-)
Yes, most of the time I don't even want to think about the situation, because it's heartbreaking for me, I'm done with worrying 24/7 and I just want to feel happy about things, because that's all I can do. And what I've noticed, same kind of thoughts are crossing on people's minds all over the Europe. It shows that people do think. It's not like all the fans are brainless droolers.
It's true that lot of Tokio Hotel lies on Bill's shoulders. It always has, but it's hard to see, that it's Bill's LOOKS what keeps many fans following. And how does it make Bill feel?
And know that they are not given even a chance?
Well, at least there are some wonderful fans (like you, guys!) supporting them and I hope that they know it. And after all, most important is that they are happy. With or without Tokio Hotel. :-)

I don't think it matters why ppl are listening to TH as long as they do. It might have been Bills looks that drag them into it in the first place but that made them notice other things about them.
About ppl stop liking them; that happens to all fans, bands and artists. When liking a band when you are 14, it means you will change a lot in the next years and maybe even completely change your music taste. That's normal. TH get new fans every day and with this album and all the help they get with doing promo and airplay, they will get even more. The new album is more mainstream and no shame in that. Good music is good music no matter what it's called. I've never cared about labels, they are too confusing and everyone have their own opinion about what's what.
They are bigger today then they have ever been. Just because they might not be as big in the first countries they were big in does not mean they're in trouble. Whole continents are begging them to come over now and they have fans in other artists, big ones. They are on their way up but they should not be compared to Madonna and MJ like certain critics have done - that's not fair. Most artists fail in that company. For the first time they are on radio in our countries and on TV. That never happened in 2006-2007! For the first time they have major record label putting them first! They have more of a chance to make it now then they did 3 years ago.
TH is no boyband but the fanbase is similar. NKOTB, Backstreet Boys and all the others managed to be quite successful in spite of all the girlie fans who shrieked. No shame in being a girl and liking a band. We don't have to act like the boys do and we shouldn't be bashed when we support our taste in music.

It's good, it really is, that you have so much faith and I do have a faith what comes to US and so, but I still think that certain countries are in a point where they are having troubles. It can be read from the numbers. I can't see that it can be explained in any way.
People's opinions about music change, it's true. It happens to every band and artist. That's why they need to renew their fanbase and I don't see that happening in Europe in a way it should be.
And I do feel worried, I'm not gonna lie about that. I just hope that I'm completely wrong.

I wouldn´t worry about the sales of their concert tickets. All we can do is wait and see...Also, you have to consider that TH is a LIVE Band. They pretty much toured 2 years straight with each of their previous records. It´ll be the same with Humanoid. I think the sales of TH concert tickets have always been higher than the sales of the TH CDs. TH is so awesome live that it makes the fans addicted, so the average fan is going to 2 or 3 concerts per tour. The demand of TH concerts is usually pretty high, that´s why they keep adding dates...Also, you don´t have to like the album very much, but you can still wanna go to a concert. That´s how it is with me anyway. I´ll go to a concert knowing how amazing TH is live and knowing they will play older songs as well.
Yes, the fanbase is smaller now (but also more loyal), because the people who were only listen to them because they were "in" or because they were in love with the bandmembers, are gone now. That´s why TH went mainstream with Humanoid. I guess they were hoping to gain new fans that way, also considering that they might **** of some (not all of course) of the fans from the beginning...And jeeeeez, I was ****** at first. But fortunatly the album is slowly growing on me! The reason why it´s so difficult for TH to gain new fans is their reputation of being an untalented teenie band. People don´t wanna give them a try...Sad but true...

yes, TH will not have a concert tour until next year......but, there are rumors TH will return to the US, most likely for promo.

but seriously you all know it's true! I have never seen a band with this much attention focused on their looks at times. they could churn out even the most mediocre record now and still sell out huge arenas in Europe.
I think the time to start worrying about their success is when they 1. put out a record that's not so good as their others AND combined with 2. get girlfriends/start balding LMAO

Unfortunately, a lot of the TH fanbase is like boyband's. Once they get older and start having gf's/getting married, they won't have the same support from the fans. Only the loyal ones who appreciate their music first will remain.
That's why boybands don't last more than a few years and if they do (like the BSB), they don't have the same success as when they were young cause most of the fans were in it because of their looks.

yeah I think a huge bulk of the fans are like that. at least over in Europe. I don't really know about America cuz I think they're fan base is sort of a little different since they are all in Hot Topic and stuff. sort of like MCR's fan base. and trust me I know cuz I used to be in that. haha! there's "Waycest" all over, people drool over the band members but don't consider them a "boy band", they are way dedicated, are perverted and fantasize about Gerard Way vampire sex, etc etc! haha the only thing is that TH has Jonas Brother's like fans mixed in with those kind of fans.

Well, I think in Germany (if not in all of Europe) the fans who´ve just liked TH because of their looks or because they were the new "big thing", are GONE now. That´s why the fanbase is now smaller, but such "fans" were pretty common in Germany in 2005 and 2006. I know at least 2 people who were on the same concert as I was in 2006, one lost interest in TH after Schrei, one just liked them because she thought the band members are hot! TH has been big in German speaking countries since 2005 and in the rest of Europe, let´s say, since 2007. To stay a true fan over that long period of time, you have to like the music. If you just like TH for their looks, then you loose interest very, very quickly. That sort of "fan" was common on TH´s beginning in whatever European country, but now they are pretty much gone. The european Fanbase now is smaller, but more loyal and they DO LIKE TH´s music!
So, I disagree when you say most of european fans just like TH because they are handsome or whatever...

haha I'm not really pointing fingers at most European fans. but just a lot of fans in general. and it's almost like they don't just like them for their looks but they seriously, really think they are ~in love~ with one of the members. so those fans stick around for quite a while and don't just fade off and I don't think they are gone at all either.

Yeah, it´s pretty ridiculous to think you´re in love with somebody you haven´t really met! And yes, there still are fans like that but I think they are pretty much gone in Europe by now. If you made it till now and did not stop being a fan, then it has to do with liking the music...I can not imagine it otherwise. And besides, how would you explain the smaller fanbase in Europe, then? If the crazy fangirls "omg I´m so in love with Bill" aren´t gone...

They will attract girls..period. And that includes girls that dont like their music. My interest in tokio hotel was sparked when I saw a picture of tom. I thought he was gorgeous...yet I couldnt recite one song...
So yeah, even though thats no longer the case for me, because I actually do like their music now....
I know there are tons of girls that only like them because they are cute. And I dont think there is anything wrong with that....
Those girls still buy concert tickets, and merchandise, and sh*t, so they still support them regardless. It may be a different reason behind the support, but its still support & you couldnt tell the difference either way.
And girls that like them for just their looks arent anymore or any less "temporary" or "permanent" than fans that like them for their music..because losing interest in them can happen to anyone for any reason at anytime, whether that be a loss of interest in their music or Tokio Hotel in general

True! But I still think that the German (european) fanbase is now more loyal and honest than in 05/06.
Also, IN MY OPINION, you´re not a real "Fan" of a band if you JUST like them for their looks. They do support the band, yes, but they aren´t honest fans and they will not stick around forever...

I kind of agree most of the things you said. In Finland it was after Elämä Lapselle -concert at the summer 2007 (btw, the sama one they were here this September) when it exploded! It was almost like hysteria sweeping over the country. But same things happened here. Fans drooling only their looks are in smaller numbers nowadays, because they've got bored. Of course there still is some (and lots of them), but it's not "in". In general teenie discussion Bill Kaulitz isn't the hottest creature on earth anymore. It's normal, it happens...
BUT like in every single country Bill's new hair or rumored gf or just the general hottness is one of number one topics what comes to the conversations among fans. It's not gone completely and never will (I would hate to be Bill. He just needs to look amazing all the time :-D). But the fandom now (and in a future) will be based more and more on a general appriciation of this band: music, life performance etc. So it's good and it's bad. They either live with it or choose not to and take a risk. So far they've accepted that.
I think there has been good points made about their fanbase, the advantages and disadvantages of it and their possibilities to move on and into which direction.

I´ve watched the 1st season of True Blood, then I´ve read all the books while watching the 2nd season. I think True Blood was as good as the books until the last 3 episodes of season 2. Until that they did an awesome job sticking to the books (except for adding new characters, but that´s understandable). With Vampire Diaries for example, I don´t mind it being far away from the books, I just think it worked better for True Blood by staying true to the books. The last 3 episodes of the show were just ridiculous and way over the top...Hopefully they can make the rurn back to the books in season 3.

B.S. I think Justin Timberlake is uber gorgeous but I still haven't bought any of his music. Idc BUT it's pretty stupid to like a band because of their looks.
I remember when i used to listen to radio. i had no clue at all what some bands or whatever looked like but I totally liked the music. If that's someone's only reason for liking band then they have serious issues. No offense. Plus, they won't even last that long. This is mostly popular amongst female fans unfortunately. Well I guess it doesn't matter where their fans motives are for being fans but i think they really wouldn't like that if it was mainly because of their looks. I wouldn't. So am I that talentless that I have to use my looks for success hmm? That's what I would be asking myself.
Yes they are still fans but I don't respect them at all for being that way but whatever.

(sorry for the late reaction)
Everything you say is sooo true! I thought about it a lot.
But I can't tell my feelings very well so I'm glad you said it.
And I'm afraid the same happens in America in a few years.

One reason why we picked Zurich is because it´s in my school break and my friend is able to get off from work at that time. Also, they don´t have a school break in Switzerland, so we might actually have a better chance to be in the front. How early will you get in line in Hamburg? Hmm we don´t know yet. On the one hand, I don´t feel like spending my weekend in front of the venue Oo
On the other hand, first row would rock  Maybe we can pick up numbers and leave again?! XD
Oh and I´m going with two friends from Stuttgart I got to know through TH :-)

But I have to study for my a-level at that time. So there´s no chance of taking 2 days or more off :-(

Although it's very difficult to know yet, because I have no idea what my life will be next February-April, so difficult to make plans.

Well, if you´re more into the German songs, you should be going to German speaking countries or France. Hamburg and Oberhausen (and I think Vienna) is selling really well, so I would hurry up making your decision. Zurich should be good, but I wouldn´t wanna go to Genf (don´t know the english expression of that city LOL). I´ve heard really bad things about TH´s last concert in Genf. So, either Zurich or France. French concerts are kinda caotic, though, especially for somebody who can´t speak French. Also, the French concerts should be selling out REAL quick...In my opinion, Zurich it is! *wink*

I had to google it. It's Geneve :-)
I think German is out of my options, because it'll be prtobably sold out really soon (And that's a very good thing, I donä't mind). Otherwise I would have though for it. I don't want to go France and other Scandinavuian countries are also not an option. Zurich sounds good, true :-)
I have think about different possibilities if I could go or not...

Reasons for Zurich:
- students don´t have a school break in March, so there is a better chance for us to be in the front, if we get in line early in the morning
- I´ve heard from other fans who went to Zurich in 2007, that TH concert in Switzerland are not as crazy as in other countries. Get in line early in the morning of the concert day and you should be good for at least 1st block, if not 1st row!
I so hope that this is true! (I´m going to Zurich btw)

I checked out the prices for hotels and plane ticket. Zurich would be around 400+ Euros. Honestly I have no way such a money, but I'm not fprgetting the idea totally. I just hesitate to go alone, because I'm just a whimp and not used to travel alone abroad. Zurich sounds pretty good, I agree.
Honestly I feel like not fitting in anyways, so... no matter what country it is.
But thanks for giving me details! I have to think about Zurich. I also watched Phague and so, but I know nothing about them.

I agree, I don't know that much about venues/cities, but Zurich sounds like a good option. As for the money, hmm :/ It's a tough one.
I've given up pestering my dad about taking me to France to see them. It's gonna be so caotic and mad :/ I'm just praying they keep their word and come to England. If not, I guess I'm gonna have to wait till their next album tours! xD

This is very old conversation, but since there isn't (?) any other general discussion of Humanoid-tour, I wanted to share my happiness in here
People waiting on line in Luxemburg said that the boys played at least the following songs in sound check today (the playlist is the same as in actual concerts?) and Bill sounded really good:
Noise
Pain of Love
Human Connect To Human
In Your Shadow
Dogs Unleashed
Humanoid (German)
Yay! They are playing also the bonus tracks!
Waiting for the Optimus secret concert-participants to come back from the concert. They are right now on signing & photo session and the actual concert is already over.

Okay, there might be a little obstacles on our way to get like zillion pictures and videos from the concerts, because at least in Luxemburg cameras are all forbidden, they will be confiscated for the showtime and they are doing a personal seach on an entrance. It's not known yet if this applies only in Luxemburg or in everywhere.
This information provided Kastis to Finnish fan club.

Somehow I just can't imagine the guys saying no cameras allowed for Humanoid City. It seems like.. too big a let-down for all the fans, especially considering all the hype. The secret show I understand so as not to blow the surprise of the stage and outfits and such, but not for the main tour.
Or maybe the hype is exactly what it's about. If the guys are so excited about it all, maybe they want to keep it a surprise for all the fans attending the later shows. I guess we'll find out soon!

I have no idea about other venues and arenas, but as far as I know in Sweden, at least at the Globe, they check your bag if you have a camera and if they find one, they see so that you throw away the battery. But many people do have cameras, and if you hide it so they don´t find it, you can still take pictures. But on the back of the concert tickets it says that cameras are forbidden, but there are still a lot of people taking pictures. If you hide that camera.
But I have never been to TH concert before, so I don´t know how thorough they are then.
When you are going to a concert, you want to be able to take pictures. I would hate it if you really are not allowed and able to take pictures. I have one bag I always take with me to a concerts, but if they are really thorough, maybe that won`t help this time...

In here art least it's common for not be allowed to take cameras into concerts of bigger international stars and at least with rappers they do personal seach (but it was okay to have camera then... Do they think we have guns with us at rap concerts? )
For what I've understood these districtions have been going to more and more strict lately with everyone. I honestly believe that this is true and they try to do all of this on every concert.
One reason is to keep concerts as a secret. No audience-material -> better way to sell more concert tickets and professional pics & videos (like live-DVD's), because there is no amateur material on internet.

When I have been to concerts, and Westlife is, or were very big a couple of years ago, they basically just checked your bag, but if you had big jacket pockets, maybe they looked in them too.
I hope they are not to strict though. If I bring my cell phone, I don´t want to have to give it to them or something. And hopefully, they just check your bag, like they used to, and then I have nothing to worry about, if I tkae the bag I always took when I was at Westlife concerts :)

Should we create new threads for every concert there in advantage or only when the actual concert has been? I think threads for individual concerts in advantage could be nice so there can be also information before the concert and discussion of certain upcoming concert...

how about up to four or five concerts per thread? There are 32 concerts in total, so far. so, to have an individual thread for each one would take up a lot of space. plus, i don't think we have members here who are attending every single concert. So, most of the information gathered will be from the media.

If they don´t take your camera (battery) when you come in to the venue, no one is taking your camera when you are at the actual concert. At least not here.
On our tickets it says that you can be searched, but I think it`s mostly the bags. I can`t recall ever hearing of someone that was body searched. If they do, they probably just feel your jacket pockets. I mean, I would feel insulted if they body searched me.

some artists just don't like you recording their performances and then putting them online.. it can be a copyright issue..
for example, i know that the company alice cooper works with is super serious about that type of thing.. i had a video of "poison" taken down because nightmare inc. didn't want videos up..
people don't just take pictures anymore.. many people take videos..
i guess it's along the same lines as using a song that is not yours in a video..

Problem is that you can't control it as a artist/organizer/record company/whatever. It's impossible to check everyone's purposes.
It's same with HQ digital cameras. People can sell their pictures to media, other fans etc. instesad of using photographers, who have sighn a contract with the artist or organizer.
I guess this whole camera-thing is because of trying to minimize the production of anb artist to spread widely all over the internet and try to avoid uncontrolled moneymaking with it. They want to keep in their hands the ways all the material is shared.
So yes, copyright-issues pretty much, I guess.

Now I'm concidering to spend a good few hours in signing line before the concert. Someone is forcing me to believe that things can actually happen in life... :???:

The venue where TH was supposed to perform in Finland has changed. Now all the stupid arragement and drama in changing tickets etc. I hate it!
But then again, pretty much useless information here, but the actual time for signing session has been announced and it's from 3pm to 4pm. At least now I can start to arrange my schedule.

Any reason given for the venue change?
Now let's hope they don't change the signing time.

The venue may have been changed to a smaller one. If that is true. I'm guessing the ticket sales are low and the previous arena would have looked vacant if the boys decided to play there.

Of course that's not the official reason, but the original venue was basically biggest in Finland with 12.000 seats and the most expensive too, I assume, so I'd say that lower ticket sell. But after all, it was already a mission impossible to sell out such a big arena in a first place. People knew it from the very beginning that it was not the best move to make. Unfortunately they decided to change it a week before the concert and now it's causing people more stress.

You have no idea how difficult that is right now. I'm literally forcing myself, whipping myself to turn my gaze towards everything cool we are having ahead. Because it's going to be great and I enjoy to see the boys and all that cool Humanoid-stuff live in a week forst in Sweden and trhen in Finland. Like I've said before; Iäm just overly sensitive to this be in this fandom, I really am
I just hate it when apparently all this stress and worrying (not because of me, but because of them) is causing me again anxiety and that is causing irregular heartbeat problems. Daymnit!
But yeah, Juhuu party! *flutterclap*
Thank you both for tolerating my sudden bursts again

Hey, no problem and I understand!
That's a big problem because you want everything to be perfect for them and in the end you can't do anything.
That's the reason why I don't like the German forum because they are all sooo worried about TH and have threads with the chart positions with the numbers sold of Humanoid compared to Sream compared to Zimmer 483 compared to...
and then they start endless dicussions about the reasons why they lose success and why they can't get ahead and what they should do and should not do and everybody starts a big fight!
So I'd like to enjoy my TH right now, thank you!
Btw: I'm also going alone to the concert but I'm still going to party there..., I hope:laugh:!

I know what you mean, because those conversations are slowly killing me. I made a decision not to even follow those discussions, because eventually I can't do anything. I've done my part with Humanoid by bying 2 cd's and 2 concert tickets. That's how much I can do. Sometimes I slip into endless pondering and worrying, but I know I shouldn't go there, because it kills me and then I'm again on position where I worry so much that it's depressing me and it's not RIGHT to get depressed because of something you like so much. It doesn't make any sense that wanting to support and liking so much will cause actually anxiety and depression. So I decided to quit all the negative discussions.
But then again I'm a weak person and slip into worrying every now and then.
But you're right: we should party now and that we will do!

I don't care about myself at all. I'm doing just fine. I'm just constantly worried about the boys. I wish I could make everything perfect for everyone, to fix everything. To save the world to start.
And I must have my period starting any moment now, because I haven't been this moody, sensitive and crieing like a baby the whole day in ages. I really need to get these mood swings under control now, because I hate this.

Where are you sitting for each concert. With the change of venue in Helsinki, will you be roughly in the same place or do you, in a sense, have to start all over with the tickets?

The ticket service has informed that the places will be similar. They start to chaqnge the tickets on a concert day, so I basically need to first change my ticket for the ticket from roughly the same place. There shouldn't be possibilituies of missing your place just because you come later than others, but of course it can be tricky to change those. We'll see what's going to happen.
And yes, they really should start now! Or in 1,5 weeks

Wha?????? D: oh noes!!!!
There might be something very confusing going on with the organizer, so everyone one equally confused. I didn't even understand who have did what. I think I better quote here... I know nothing more.
Following is a direct quote from:
http://tokiohotel-info.myblog.de/tokiohotel-info/art/6665961/-h1-Twitter-News-Zagreb-Concert-h1-
"There is a problem. The fans have contacted Arena Zagreb (the venue) because there is something fishy going around with the organisers of this concert. Two days ago, Arena Zagreb has removed the TH date from their site. http://www.zagrebarena.hr/default.aspx?id=18
Arena replied to us about why the date had been removed:
saying that the organiser of this concert isn't even doing anything (he didn't pay the Arena anything, didn't do his part of the deal) and he hasn't yet confirmed that the band is even coming to Croatia. They also add that, after talking to the organiser, there might not be a chance for this concert to happen.
However, it all looks like it might be a big scam because the tickets are still up for sale. There is this charity organisation that apparently is involved in the organising process, and after contacting Arena Zagreb, they told us that that charity organisation wasn't even mentioned once when talking about the concert, but their name is credited on the tickets.
The newest info that we have is that the organisers that were supposed to be the REAL organisers of this event, aren't the real organisers and that some company called "Vinil" is doing it, but they bankrupted years ago. The man from the "Vinil" company is going to contact Eventim (the ticket holder) and discuss everything. Just to make things straight: this "Vinil" company had HUGE law problems: they organised a Metallica and a Lenny Kravitz concert, then canceled it and never returned the ticket money to people who bought the tickets.
Now, everyone here is very confused. The date is there, on TH.com, but Arena Zagreb claims that March 28. is a free date in their schedule. We are waiting for the organisers to finally tell us what is going on. Man, this was a long explanation."
Source goes to tokiohotelamerica's forum, but since I don't have an account there, I don't know what there has been discussed.

EDIT:
(Notice! Not confirmed by TH yet, so still keep as a rumor)
E-mail from Goran Malkovic, VIP Party PR, manager of public relations to croatian TH-fans, fan club etc. today at 8.44 pm.
"Greetings,
Earlier this evening we have received a message from manager of Arena in Zagreb, Croatia that the concert of Tokio Hotel that was planned in Zagreb, Croatia, is cancelled.
The event manager of the concert "Vinil d.o.o" was recoognized as bankcrubt back in year 2009. Also the manager of Arena in Zagreb, Croatia has confirmed that the event manager hasn't paid yet for hiring The Arena or making any step towards realisation of the concert. The manager of Tokio Hotel, David Jost has said that they also deleted the date of concert in Zagreb, Croatia due the facts that were stated above. Eventim system has already cancelled the event from their webpages (tickets were in Slovanian, Croatian anmd Serbian Eventim systems) until they receive further notice. For now, the concert is officially canceled. Please forward this message to your fans and please do not spread around gossips about that concert will still be in Arena because it won't be. "
...and some bla-bla-bla you can read from here:

And we know the feeling too. 2008 we were also on a list of cancelled concerts because of Bill's illness. I wasn't a fan back then, but what I've heard from people, it was very sad.
