Hey everyone! This is where I'm going to post all of my drawings and photo manipulations. Note that I don't have photo shop, and I don't even have Gimp. I just use an online editor.
I really hope you like them. :)

Currently, I'm working on a portrait of Tom, but besides Benjamin Franklin, I've never drawn a male before. So I'm hoping his features won't turn out too feminine.
But, for now, here are some of my photo manipulations.
Again, I don't have photoshop, so these aren't that great.
And one more thing; This is when I was going through my extreme Evanescence fan stage, so the majority of them are of Amy Lee. ;)

Wow, thanks everyone! It really means a lot to me. :P I'm still working on Tom. I've gotten lazy witn him, and I'm getting very agrivated with his mouth. But I'll keep trying. :)

Okay, I fixed up a picture of Bill on this online editor. What I really tried to do was to make his eyes just pop out and absolutely mesmorize you. Tell me; Did it work? :D

I'm really glad that the improvement is noticable.
Each time I start a new piece, I really try and focus on improving what went wrong in the last one.

TOM IS FINALLY DONE!!!!!!

However, I'm not too happy with the outcome.
And a lot of the drawing's quality and shading was lost through the scanner. :/

You are off to a great start!! You definitely have skills here.

I wish you luck :) Try to draw more from life rather than from photos. It's much better to learn that way because you can clearly see the form and all it's shadows. When you have drawn from life for a while, you will know what is missing in washed out images.

Your portraits are much better than your anime. However, the portrait drawing guide should also help your anime. Just adjust the lines of the face for the size of the eyes you want to use and make the nose smaller.

Well, first of all, I would probably spend more time on a finished drawing than a half hour. It's fine if you're not finished, though :P

Hmmm....

1. Yes, his eyes are too big. I think the main issue with that is his eye raping. The eye raping is designed to make the eyes look larger and more dramatic. So, unconsciously, you are probably drawing them too large. Just make sure that one eye can fit between them next time or when you fix this.

2. His face is too narrow. There should be more space on either side of his eyes. Even though that is where his 'face' ends, his head curves beyond that.

3. The nostrils should, at least, extend to the end of the pink part of the eye on males.

4. There should be more highlights in the hair to make it seem more lifelike and realistic. Also, the hair should get significantly darker where it begins to go behind his head.

5. Take a closer look at Bill's eyes. There are definitely lines and more lights and darks in them. :) By fixing that, it'll make the eyes sooo much more dramatic.

6. Without bending my laptop screen back very far, I couldn't see any of the shading. I would suggest adding darker areas in the shadows. Sometimes it helps to squint at a drawing to more easily see the darks and lights. This is because it puts most other things out of focus. Also, make sure your shading shows form. Don't just shade to fill in space or because the drawing has shading there. Your shading must imply a 3-D figure. And, although Bill has fair skin, his skin isn't so light that it doesn't have any shadows.

7. The eye on the left is bigger than the one on the right.

8. Practice and good luck!! I look forward to more from you :)

Okay, just kind of disregard this drawing. I call it '3 AM Mayhem'. -.- I really can't say what's wrong with me. This is something that happens when you leave me with a box of coloured pencils and I haven't slept in over 40 hours. So.... Yeah. I just kind of started scribbling, and this is what happened. My scanner made it all weird and pixely...... But at least I found out why it would make every picture I scanned too dark and stuff. It was set on autofix...... But I don't think there's anything I can do about the dotty stuff. =/ I pretty much just shows everywhere and way I used the pencil.

Oh yeah, and I got ****** with Bill's accessories and half assed them... So, yeah. Please please please comment and tell me what you think!
