What is your dream job or career?

So what would everyone like to do as a career or job once you get out of high school, college or what ever kind of education you are looking to aspire to?

I'm currently in college for a BFA (Bachelors of Fine Arts) in Graphic Design, I personally just want to be able to do art.lol When I'm done with college here, I plan on going to California and try and get a job in the Graphic Design field but really I just would like to become a well known artist like some of my idols, one such is Shepard Fairey. Most of you might know know who he is but you have definitely seen his work, his most well know piece is the Obama HOPE poster (red, white and blue) and his "Andre the Giant has a posse" campaign which led to his overall popularity.

So far I have already laid the stepping stones in my art career, i will have some of my artwork, in two art shows, one being apart of the university I attend and the other a private show.

Well I am curious as to what everyone else wants to do later in their lives or even currently.

And I'd only need to do one movie, and I'd be so brilliantly amahzing, that it's the number one movie all over the world (particularly Germany) and then all the dudes in TH see it, and love it, and it's their favourite movie, and then they invite me to Germany to chillbang with them.

Of course I accept, and then I'll fly to Germany and hang out with Tom, Bill, Georg, and Gustav. And then they'll love me, I'll love them, and we'll be the best of friends, and I'll always be hanging out with them. But I become friends with one of them more so than the others; Tom. And we'll become really close. And he'll fall in love with me, and I'll fall in love with him, and then he'll ask me out. And then we'll date for a year, always having fun with the other boys too.

And then one night, when me and Tom are in Australia where not many people recognise him, and we're at the movies (a scary one so I get to cuddle up with Tom) Tom's preparing to do something. And later that night we go for a walk along the coastline and then Tom'll stop and look me in the eyes, declare his absolute love for me, and ask me to marry him. And of course, I say yes.

Then we'll fly back to Germany to tell all our friends there, telling Bill first. And then Bill jumps up and down screaming like a little girl. And then Tom and me will sneak away just to be together. And then we'll get married in Germany. And be together forever.

And yeah, that's pretty much what I want to do with my life ^w^

another two years after that and i'll have a masters degree..

i'd like to eventually be a psychiatrist, but i'm not sure that i want to be in school that long.. and i'm not sure i'd really want to rely on medicating people or even have the ability to write out prescriptions..
so, i may just stop at the masters degree and be a psychologist..

i'd like to work mainly with those suffering from eating disorders and/or self injury..
i don't want to be the shrink that just prescribes medication after medication without really talking to the patient.. i want to know what's bothering them and be someone they can talk to and trust to actually care and listen..

i wanna be a (famous) chef specializing in desserts and pastries and i would travel the world trying out different types of desserts and pastries...i don't like a lot of foods like fish, duck, and a lot of other things like that...i like deer though because one time my uncle made deer burgers after he went hunting...anyway...then i want to have a best friend who's a chef who does a lot of the stuff i won't.

Then we'd buy and run our own restaurant/store where people can buy pasties, cakes and all the other good stuff and the other half of the building will be a restaurant where my best friend cooks...it'll be near a park and we'll also sell special ready made food for the people who go to the park for like picnics or for mountain bikers who needs something to eat

My dad is a frequent park-goer who thought of the idea


Or a real estate agent because i love helping people look for houses(aka my parents)

Once I've got my BA, I'd like to join the JET Program (Google if confused, I don't feel like defining it, lol) and teach English in Japan for a couple years. I love Japanese culture and hey, you can get some great connections in the JET Program. Ideally, I want to move to Europe and get my Masters degree at a college there, specifically Germany or France. Their universities all look like something out of fairy tales, haha. Once I'm done with my degrees, I plan on living the remainder of my days as a teacher in Germany or France--and not just as an "English" teacher. I want to be a real teacher there, seen as someone respected and valued, not replaceable (as say in Japan).

In any case, I plan on moving from America. I do love my country but I really just want to get out and see the world, experience new things, etc. :D

Yay college freshman! :D And thanks. Most people just think I'm dumb for even going into the English/Foreign language department. Then again, most of my friends are Asian and are all going to be nurses/doctors. LOL. Their parents think my degree is a joke.

And yeah, I'm basically climbing a mountain of schoolwork. I got ahead in credits thanks to AP classes though, so I'm already taking sophomore level and degree level English classes that will hopefully give me room for more lang classes at my new university.

And when I was in High School, I always wanted to be a French translator for the US Embassy. My cousin was that for a few years and she loved it. Who knows, I might end up actually doing it too. There's so many options. @__@

mainly i just did promotions and signing gigs, which i am really good at both,, first year i started out of the small profits from the bands i made $250, that was with one band, then i kept adding more and more bands, that was my sophmore year, my senior year i had had 9 total bands, but at the time i was managing 6 small time bands at home, $200 per month.lol during the summer I worked on the 4th of july thing on base, i live next to one of the biggest military bases, i got all 6 of my bands signed, each band made $1,500 playing through out the 4th, military pays BIG. I got $250 each for signing them, and i didn't keep any of it, i gave it all back to the base for this thing called "Warriors Walk" its a memorial on base where they plant one tree for each fallen soldier from the 3rd Infantry Division, the home unit. There are currently 420 trees planted, by 2011 plans have already been made to expand it for the 4th time making room for more. The base has said that by that time there will be 550 trees planted. Out of the 420 currently planted, i know 5 soldiers, good friends who died for their country. out of the next 130, i know 7.

I'm still only a Freshman in highschool, but when I'm eventually done with college, I would love to be a part of the JET Programme and teach English in Japan for a couple of years.
After teaching, I don't know how I'll feel about staying in Japan or moving back to America, but I do know that I would like to be a graphic designer as well. I could possibly only work freelance/part-time while working as a full-time English teacher, because I love teaching as well, but I'm not so sure if that idea would work out since I'm young and have no clue what part-time and full-time work is like, hahah. If I do get very involved in the graphic-art world, I would love to design things such as CD covers, posters, merchandise, etc. I think I'm hoping too high for that, though. I don't even know how I would get into that music industry design field, or whatever you would call it.

So basically -- either an English teacher in Japan, graphic designer, or I'd somehow manage both. I kinda have to do more research and get my thoughts sorted out, hahah.

My backup is makeup artist, I love makeup and the whole technicality of it. I'm doing a one week course in March on casualty makeup, like, how to emulate bruises and bones sticking out of skin and stuffs... fake blood! >:]

But I don't really know what I'm gonna do, I'm graduating in July '11. and I don't see how far I'm gonna get with English Lit, Art/Design, Geography, Drama and human biology. Well, that's really varied. xD

I want to be famous. Like, an actor. And I'd only need to do one movie, and I'd be so brilliantly amahzing, that it's the number one movie all over the world (particularly Germany) and then all the dudes in TH see it, and love it, and it's their favourite movie, and then they invite me to Germany to chillbang with them.

Of course I accept, and then I'll fly to Germany and hang out with Tom, Bill, Georg, and Gustav. And then they'll love me, I'll love them, and we'll be the best of friends, and I'll always be hanging out with them. But I become friends with one of them more so than the others; Tom. And we'll become really close. And he'll fall in love with me, and I'll fall in love with him, and then he'll ask me out. And then we'll date for a year, always having fun with the other boys too.

And then one night, when me and Tom are in Australia where not many people recognise him, and we're at the movies (a scary one so I get to cuddle up with Tom) Tom's preparing to do something. And later that night we go for a walk along the coastline and then Tom'll stop and look me in the eyes, declare his absolute love for me, and ask me to marry him. And of course, I say yes.

Then we'll fly back to Germany to tell all our friends there, telling Bill first. And then Bill jumps up and down screaming like a little girl. And then Tom and me will sneak away just to be together. And then we'll get married in Germany. And be together forever.

And yeah, that's pretty much what I want to do with my life ^w^

Hate to break it to you, honey, but the odds of this happening are zilch. This reads like a lame thirteen year old's fantasy, and those are likely to never come true.

While we all are permitted to dream and fantasize to our hearts content, I recommend you don't quit your day job.

Well,my dream job...I have no idea but Im trying to get into a university which is pretty far from my home.Im planning to study "electrical engineering and information technology" course in that university.I want to make nature friendly machines and help the media comes to remote places.The jobs for that career is very various,I hope I would get a good one.However,I do have a second dream,I want to pursue further into Physics and seek for the truth in everything like Einsteins.I really really love studying about light and sonic waves,but to me...this thing is just a far away dream and I dont think I can stay all day in a lab.I want to be as free as the wind and travel to anywhere I want to and do anything I dream about.
Aside from those thing,I also love messing around with photoshop.I have made lots of art works and helped my friends become more beautiful in their photos.I find it's relaxing to do it.
