Song writing

Hey ppl,

I need a little help with song writing....what are the key points to writing a song? I have many song ideas in my head just waiting to come out....i just need to know how to put one together. And i'm not just doing this cuz i want to cuz my friends and i have started a band called Hyperactive Serenity. We all can sing and harminize really well but we want to actually get somewhere so we need to write our own songs rather than using someone else's. Singing is my passion and i would love to express my feelings in the ultimate way....song... So please help however you can cuz i need as much information as all of you can give me!!! Well a song normaly rhymes right :]

Normally u can find words which go togther

like in one line at the end u culd have cat next line bat

Then in maybe next verse you could have at the end night

Then the next line at the end train

Bcose nitht train go together :]

Just sit down and wirte wat you feel if you can't make it rhyme then take some time to just try and maybe reword it :]

Tht helps me when i write a song

Just think take ur ideas into action and write :D

Wat i do if i dnt make sense i edit at the end :D

Like rhyming

Well it depends on how long u want it to go on for and how many choruses u wanted

I dnt think choruses is a real word or spelt right

You can rhyme. Or not.
There are songs out there with words that don't rhyme.
As long as the words are meaningful, you can do whatever you like.

Create your own style.

My mum said if u dnt make it rhyme it will never be a song >.<

You can't have instruments

And my bro says thts how ppl make it big by rhyming bcose it just helps and adds to the song

i know the basics now but if you would kindly just jot down random subjects then that would be great.....i can't decide and i would love if you would give random subjects for songs and i could pick the one that's easiest for me to work with....and then i'll post it and maybe even record me singing when i get the background music together.... :D :D

Well when I write my songs I think of real life things >.<

Like...

Cutting
Taking Drugs
Life Problems
Being Alone


GAH and more >.<

You get wat I'm saying when I started cutting was the easiest song to write about tht subject but I insist on maybe something thts happened to you
