Signature Size Help?

For the signatures I have, when I upload the pictures they're big, but within the regulations. Except when I put them into my signature, they get really small, and it looks all blurred and awful. I've seen people on this site with much bigger sigpics than mine, so I know it's possible to have them larger. Can anyone tell me how?

Don't upload them to the site, upload them to somewhere like Photobucket or Tinypic and then use the code to use them here.
