Screen shots?

I was just wondering about how to take a screen shot? Alot of people are taking them and I cant figure out how. Help?

Look at your keyboard.

Find the 'Print Screen' button (sometimes labeled as 'prtsc' or 'prt scn'), it should be near the upper right hand side of the keyboard.

Press it (some computers require you to hold alt while pressing it. If your screen shot doesn't work, try holding alt when you try again).

Open your photo/image editing software (photoshop, gimp, paint).

Press ctrl+v or select 'paste' from the 'edit' drop down menu.

Viola. You've got a screen shot.

Also, screenshots are covered in the FAQ, complete with an image of a keyboard so you can see where the button is. Don't forget to check the FAQ! :)
