I'm not really from Iowa, but I live here now. And I must say that I absolutely hate it. I live in a really small town. And there's only 300 people in my high school, which is 7th to 12th grade. I used to live in Kansas City, where over 1000 kids went to school with me. I can't stand it. Okay, I'm done with my rant now, haha.
But yeah, I didn't know that Iowa had any TH fans. :)

:D Iowa is awesome! :D I've lived here all my life [[14 years]]. My friend Stephanie introduced me to TH and I'm hooked! I wish they would come to Iowa. I am so hyped 4 the album release. It's on my sister's b-day! ;)

You must live in an awesome part of Iowa. I wish I did. But, I don't know. I don't think TH would want to come here. They said that they like big cities. And Iowa doesn't really have huge cities; do we? I don't know.

I'm on the other side of the river... Iowa is ok... I guess, but even if they don't like smaller cities, they might want to visit these areas too...
Iowa has the Mid America Center, which is a big Arena. Some bands like Evanescence played there. Here is URL for the ARENA: http://www.midamericacenter.com/
Now, Nebraska has the Civic Auditorium where I have seen bands like Aerosmith,
The Qwest Center, were I saw My Chemical Romance + Green Day,
the Sokol Auditorium (Sokol Underground) where the Taste of Chaos took place a couple of years ago with My Chemical Romance, AFI, and Avenge Seven Fold, also, I saw there Stone Sour with Shadows Fall and Lacuna Coil, and Avenge Seven Fold played again there last year, it is an itty bitty venue, but it is great to see bands up close, usually concerts there are promoted by The River (radio station in Iowa).
And lets not forget, the Pershing Center in Lincoln (which sucks because they don't let you in with cell phones that have cameras or cameras, or anything that looks like a camera) where Marilyn Manson stopped by last year, and My Chemical Romance did a great show. SO...
The Midwest might be boring, but it has people, and it is GROWING... so, they should definitely come this way... I rather they come to Nebraska, just because it is closer...
Here is a list of the Venues I mentioned:
Qwest Center
http://www.qwestcenteromaha.com/
Sokol
http://sokolunderground.com/
Civic Auditorium
http://www.omahacivic.com/
Pershing Center
http://www.pershingcenter.com/
And the thing is... if they want to be famous, they need to visit every little town they can play at, and if they want to have a great live reputation, it shouldn't matter whether they are playing in a small town for 300 people or in an Arena in Paris.
I saw AFI in a venue with no more than 500 people, they were just as amazing as in their DVD "I heard a voice" where they played in an ARENA. Same with My Chemical Romance... These bands really show how much they appreciate their fans, and they give you a great show no matter what.
Oh! One more thing, if we want to see TH here, we should probably start bothering the radio stations of the area...
These are the two bigger promoters I know of...

Man, I miss having a large class size like that.
I'm a people person. (:
If they had a concert here, I wonder how many people would actually go.
I only personally know one other TH fan in Iowa.

I'm from Iowa too! I live in a tiny town - my graduating class was like 50! Nobody here knows about TH except me and my sister. I wish we could get them to play a show in Iowa. We had to go all the way to the twin cities to see them, but it was definitely worth it :)

OK, so I saw this Thread, I was wondering, do you perhaps know if their is an Iowa street team, and if so, who's the leader? Because I want to know, I live in Iowa and I don't think that their is any fans, or street team near me since I live near Sioux City its about 10 or more miles from it, there's less than 200 students here! (ALL TOGETHER!)
