The Game. (Completed)

In what was suppose to be a fun night out during an awkward time, a young group of 5 find themselves in a game with a woman craving life. The Game turns into a physiological battle Life and Death, causing heartbreak, realizations, and heart-ache.




The Game.

Chapter 1

Old.

“Tom, be nice!” she said, as Tom pushed the dog out of the way.

“It isn’t in my nature to be nice,” he said, licking his lips and pushing her onto the bed, pushing her hands above her head and kissing her neck.

“So I’ve noticed,” she said, letting him drift his hands along her body. “Just be careful okay?”

“Whatever you say.” He said, slipping of her pants and she pulled his shirt over his body.

It had been three years; three years since Tom met Sri, three years since these two had began their journey together, three years since these two had loved each other. Sri was 23 now, as was Tom. They had met in a fashionable manner, the casual seeing each other in strange locations. Then Tom, being the man he was, decided to talk to Sri. After a cup of coffee, and walk through the park, and some conversation, Tom went with Sri to her house, and they got to know each other a bit better. From that moment, the two rarely separated. They had grown to love one another more and more as the days passed, and cared about one another more than any other. Marriage wasn’t in his or her plans, because Sri didn’t want a piece of paper to tell her she loved someone, and Tom wasn’t one for sappy romance. He loved Sri, and that was all he needed.

“Tom, please… Can we get him?” Sri said, wide eyed at the little ball of fur sitting at her feet. “He is so cute!! Tom! Please!”

“I don’t want to take care of him.”

“I’ll do it! Please Tom!!”

“Fine,” Tom said, feeling slightly defeated, but not upset, because Sri was happy. “But, I get to name him.”

“Fine, whatever.” She said, lifting the fuzzy puppy into her arms, looking at it’s adorable face and wide eyes. “You’re such a cutie pie!”

“Are you trying to make me jealous?” Tom said, toying with Sri.

“Of course!”

“His name is Zeus.” Said Tom, folding his arms across his chest and eyeing the tiny corgi wrapped in his girlfriends’ arms.

“That’s so typical of a man.”

“Do you want him or not?”

“Fine, fine. Zeus it is!” she said, switching into a baby type voice.

The two strolled back to their one bedroom apartment, hand in hand, while Sri help Zeus in her free hand.

“So, Bill wants me to go with him on this thing… with Georg And Gustav. I don’t know what it is though… Do you want to come?”

“You don’t know what it is, and you expect me to agree? What if he wants you all to go to a strip club or something?”

“No, no… It’s a trip. I don’t know… He said he wanted to go on an “Adventure” before he gets to old. I told him that saying that made him old, but I don’t think he cared.”

“Well… I guess so, I mean… I love hanging with you guys… But what about Zeus?” she said, once again turning her voice into a baby voice.

“What about that little neighbor girl? Alex I think. She loves you, right? I’m sure you could get her to watch him while we are gone. It’s only for a few days.”

“Yeah… I’ll ask her. When is it?”

“A few weeks.”

“Yeah, okay. I’ll go.”


Inside their apartment, Zeus began to explore around, getting a feel for his new home. Sri began to cook dinner, and Tom planted himself on the couch, and flipped on the TV.

“Hey, didn’t that girl use to be your friend?”

“What girl?” Sri called from the kitchen.

“Uh… Abby? Didn’t you go to high school with her?”

“Oh. Yeah… She was my best friend up until high school. I thought she’d end up pregnant with the group of friends she had.”

“She died.”

“What?” Sri said, walking into the living area to see the TV. It was true, her picture was placed in the upper right hand corner of the box while a handsome man with a bad comb over and an awkwardly deep voice told her that she had been found murdered in the mountains. “My God…” Sri whispered in disbelief.

“I’m sorry…”

“No, I mean… It’s not your fault, obviously… It’s just… I never expected that.”

She strolled back to the kitchen, still thinking of Abby. Zeus was walking in between her feet, like a cat, and she knelt down to pet him, with tears in her eyes. “We always played together when we were kids,” she whispered unintentionally. Zeus licked her cheek, causing her to come back to reality. She then got up, washed her hands, and returned to cooking.

“Dinner.” She called, as Tom rose from the couch, and sat down in front of the kitchen table.

“Sweet. I love spaghetti.” He said, digging into his meal.

“That’s why I made it.” Sri kissed his head, and came back with some water for herself, and a coke for Tom.

“I was thinking… Maybe, in a few months… We can move to a bigger house, you know? Maybe have a family…” Tom said, the last bit he practically muttered. For some reason, having Zeus around comforted his heart.

“Really? I didn’t think you wanted that…”

“I mean… It was just a thought… It’s not like I’m going to force you… It’s just, we are already 23…” he said, trailing of into his own thoughts. Before Sri had time to reply, her cell phone rang.

“Hello?”

“Sri, did you see the news?” her high school friend Kaleen asked.

“Yeah… It’s a shame…”

”Yeah… You two were tight weren’t ya?”

“We use to be. She got different friends in high school.”

“Oh yeah, I remember… They use to threaten you…”
“Ha, remember that fight with Sissy?” said Sri, recalling memories from long ago.

“Oh yeah! ‘Don’t ever tell Abby that again! You ****in’ *****,’” Kaleen said, imitating this Sissy character.

“All because I told Abby that Sissy was gonna steal her boyfriend. High school sucked.” Sri said, laughing off her memories.

“Yeah. Well hey; let’s hang out later, okay? You and Tom should come over later, around 7, is that okay?”

“Yeah, sure, we’ll be there.”

Chapter 2.

Perfectionist.

“Hey!” Kaleen called, exchanging hugs with both Tom and Sri. “And who’s this cutie?”

“Zeus, we just got him today.”

“He’s a cutie pie!” she said, as he licked her face happily.

“Hey Rick,” Tom called out to the man sitting on the couch.

“Tom! How ya’ been man?” said the built man, patting Tom on the back.

“Good, real good. How about you?”

“Same as always.”

”That’s dull. Spice up your life man!”

“You got room to talk! I think that dog is the newest thing I’ve seen in about 2 years.”

“Yeah, well, I can’t say we party like we use to.”

“Getting old sucks.” Said Rick. He wasn’t old in all truth; he was only 25, and very healthy.

“Let’s go clubbing!” Kaleen rang from the bedroom. Her and Sri had been looking through clothes, deciding what to wear. Kaleen stepped out in a leather mini skirt, with a red top. It wasn’t as sluttish as it sounds, I assure you. Sri stepped out in some black pants, with a White halter on, extenuating her curvy figure, and making Toms’ heart beat a little faster.

“****.” He muttered, and Rick said muttered the same.

The two couples danced all night, and drank, and played games, and sang, and laughed, and kissed, and partied. They were just like teenagers again, and they loved every minute of it.

After a long night, the two separated, after Sri changed back into her clothes, and took Zeus from Kaleen and Ricks’ home.

“You’re beautiful,” Tom said, stroking his thumb against Sris’ fair skin and looking town into her green eyes. He brushed her hair back, and kissed her neck. “Come on.” He said, leading her back into their bedroom, shutting the door so that Zeus wouldn’t come in.
“Morning.” Tom called as Sris’ eyes opened to daylight. He had his robe pulled around him, having just got out of the shower.

“What time is it?”

“Around 10.”

“God, I want to go back to bed.” She said, pulling the covers around her naked body and trying to drift back into sleep.

“Come on, we gotta go see the guys today.” Tom said, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her out of bed.

“Fine,” she said, being stubborn. She strolled her way into the shower. She put herself together, and the two set out to Bill, Georg, and Gustavs’.


“Hey little brother!” Tom called, jumping on Bills’ back.

“God Tom! You’re such a kid!”

“Then you’re a baby!”

“Sri!” Bill said, turning to see the lovely girlfriend of his stupid twin brother laughing. After a few hugs, everyone settles in the boys’ living room.

“So, are you guys coming?” Georg asked Tom and Sri.

“You bet.”

“Sweet, we’re leaving next week.”

“Were are we going exactly?” Sri said. Being a perfectionist, she didn’t like non-organization. She wanted to be fully prepared, and know the exact detail of everything.

“Just roll with it Sri, it’ll be fun to loosen up.” Bill said, handing her a bottle of water, and re-assuring her they would have a great time.

Chapter 3.

She really is something special

“I hate planes, I hate planes, I hate planes.” Sri mumbled to herself, gripping Tom and Bills’ hands. Tom was on her left, Bill on her right.

“Calm down dude.” Tom said, laughing at her.

“It’s okay,” Bill said, with a hint of sincerity in his voice. He always cared for Sri from the moment he met her. “It’ll be fine.”

“Is she freaking out?” Georg asked Bill.

“Yeah. She’ll be fine though.”

“Give her this,” said Gustav, passing down bottled water.

And, as everyone told her, it was fine. They landed safely, only a few bumps. Nothing happened, and all was well.

“Hotel!” Gustav called, walking ahead of everyone.

“Shower!” Georg called.

“Shower!” Tom also said, nudging Sris’ arm, making her slap him.

“I want to go out to eat!” Bill called out, causing everyone to stop and stare at him, everyone except Sri.

“Bill! We can eat later! Gaw, you eat all the time!” Georg said.

“I’m hungry too!” Sri said, knowing the boys wouldn’t argue with her.

“Fine.” They all said, defeated, as Bill snickered.

After a quick meal, it was off to the hotel. Clean showers, fresh beds, the smell of linen, it was perfect. Sri recalled her memories from when she had toured with Tom and the boys. They had been in a band famous all around the world, Tokio Hotel. But, about a year after having met Tom, they decided to take a break. Millions were crushed, unclear of the reason. Bill had met Sri, and fell in love, plain and simple. Although she was his brothers’ girlfriend, he cared deeply for her. He couldn’t concentrate on his music, and therefore, called it to a halt. He had every intention of playing again, because he loved it more than anything, even Sri. He just wanted to take some time off so he could gather himself together. All the boys agreed, and that’s how the situation came to this.

“Makes you remember old times, huh?” Bill said, walking into Sri and Toms’ hotel room. Tom wasn’t there; he had wanted to go shopping. He had left about an hour before this, with Gustav and Georg.

”Yeah… It does.” She muttered. She loved those times.

“You really loved it then, didn’t you?” Bill said, causing Sri to turn her head. It was as if he were reading her mind.

“Is it that obvious?”

“Kinda, I mean… I miss it too.”

“Why did you decide to stop?” she asked, purely curious.

“I met this girl… and she changed my world… I just needed a break, ya know?” he said, looking at her.

“Was she a fan?”

“You could say that.”

“She must have been something special, to get to The Bill Kaulitz like that.” She said snickering, and poking Bill in the chest.

“Yeah… she really is something special.” He muttered.

“You still talk to her?”

“Everyday.”

“Why haven’t I ever met her?”

“Whose to say you haven’t?”

“Bill! Tell me who it is!”

“Don’t worry about it.” He said, getting up and patting her on her head. “It wouldn’t ever work anyway. She has a boyfriend.”

“She could dump him.”

“Even then, it wouldn’t work.”

“Who is it Bill?”

“Someone.” He said, teasing her and walking out the door.

He walked to his room, and slid his thin body down the wall. Why was it so hard for him to tell her? He had tried several times, but he never could. It’s not like it would work, he kept telling himself, she was his brothers’ girl first, after all. But, what if they did break up? What would he do? Tom would be upset… but he loved Sri… and just as he pondered this thought, there was a knock at his door.

The Game.

Chapter 4.

The letters.

“Mr. Kaulitz we have letters for you and your party.” Said a woman, holding out 5 pure white square envelopes in front of him. He took them, glancing over them, before looking back up.

”Who are thes-“ he said, before realizing she wasn’t there anymore. He walked inside, shut the door, and opened the first of the envelopes. It had his name, nicely printed, and read

“Dear Mr. Bill Kaulitz,

The Great Sai invites you to a formal affair on

June 6th, of the year 2008”

At the very bottom of the page, there was a strange signature, which read “Sai”.

“Who the **** is Sai?” he said to himself. He then remembered the other letters, and strolled his way down to Sri and Toms’ room.

”Hey, you got a letter.” He said, knocking on the door.

“Just a second!” he heard.

“Okay, sorry.” Said Sri, opening the door wrapped in a bathrobe.

“Oh my… Uh… here,” he said, averting his eyes and handing her a letter. “This one is for you, and here’s Toms’”

“Bill, for God sakes, look at me! I swear. Sometimes you act like a teenage boy. Come in,” she said, taking the letters and pulling Bill in.

“Sorry. I mean, I didn’t mean to barge in.”

“Bill, it’s not like I’m naked. And what does it matter?”

“It just does.”

“Why?” she said, confused.

"Because your my brothers' girlfriend." Bill muttered

"So?" She replied, about to open one of the letters.

"I don't know, I'm sorry." He replied, getting up and making an attempt to walk out the door.

"Bill? What's the matter with you lately?" Sri said, pulling him back. He looked into her eyes, and lost control.

“I love you.” he said, accidentally.... he never intended to tell her like this, he always wanted it to be romantic, and sweet. But instead, it was awkward, and un-expected. It just slipped from his lips.

“What the ****?” said a voice calling from the bathroom.

“****… I didn’t know Tom was here.” Bill said, trying his best to get out of the room before Tom, also in a bathrobe, stopped him.

“Bill… What did you just say?” Tom asked.

“Nothing.”

“Bill. ****, just tell me!”

“I said I love her Okay?!” he yelled, outraged. He felt so weak underneath Toms’ powerful arms.

“**** Bill, what the **** does that mean?”

“Tom, leave him alone okay! I’m sure he meant something else.” Sri called, trying to make the situation lighter.

“Yeah. What she said.” Bill muttered.

“No he didn’t. I know him. He says the most important things at the most awkward times, he’s always been like that.”

“No I don’t” said Bill, almost to himself.

“Is this why you decided to take a break? Huh? Is she the reason why you gave up on music and let millions of people down?” Tom said, disregarding interruptions given by both present.

“**** you Tom.” Bill said, pushing Tom off of him and walking out the door.

“BILL! Please!” Sri called out. She wasn’t going to chase him, because that would hurt Tom, and she knew it. She just wanted to know what Bill meant. Curiosity was eating her inside out. “**** Tom, why did you freak out like that?”

“Because he didn’t tell me to begin with! I always knew something was up with him. God ******… What is this?” he said, directing his attention to the letters. He read it, and looked up at Sri, who had read hers as well.

”Who is Sai?”

“I don’t know. **** it though, we are going back home.”

“What was the point in doing this then? Are you really going to let something this simple get in the way of a good time?” Sri asked.

“Simple?! You call my brother loving you simple?! He’s my own flesh and blood Sri! I love him more than anyone! You expect me to think this is simple!”

“Tom, calm down. There’s no way that was what he meant. It must be something else. Bill isn’t like that, he’s always treated me like I was his sister or something!”

“Because he was scared to get close to you Sri! God! Sometimes you’re so ****ing clueless!” he said, gesturing to his head.

“**** you Tom!” she said, storming out the door.

”Where the **** are you going!?” he called behind her.

“To talk to Gustav!”

Well, my best friend in the entire world, the girl who I trusted more than anyone and who I'd die for, found out her parents were getting divorced. So she started making up all this random ***** about having a boyfriend who was in a gang and what not, and she worked so hard to make sure it was real. Like, she'd bring us pictures of "him" and call "him" on the phone in front of us, but he was really just her cousin's friend.

And I was really worried about her cos her "boyfriend" was in a gang and I didn't want anything to happen to her, cos she was my best friend, you know? Then she started skipping class and she's so smart and would go so far in life and it was a waste so I scolded her for doing it and the got ****** off at me.

Then she changed completely. She turned all mean and ******y and went and told my secrets to everyone, which ****** me off SO BAD. And now she acts like we're still friends and whenever I'm a ****** to her, she starts crying about things going on her life and says she's telling me this because she trusts me, which makes me feel bad for being mean to her, and she knows it.

It doesn't sound like much, really, but it just hurt me so bad cos she was the greatest friend a person could have and to lose her and never have her again...it's just really sad.

Cos I couldn't ever imagine a world without Mariana...and then when all this was going on, Mariana was spreading lies about me so all these girls and some of my friends were turning against me. And I don't blame them for believing her, because until this happened she never, ever lied. So I had no one except for my now-best friend Cassidy, who really didn't want anything to do with it so I couldn't talk to her much about it. :\

But it's all good now, I guess.

Chapter 5.

Piecing the pieces together.

“****… I forgot about Georg and Gustav.” Bill said to himself, pulling their letters out of his pocket and walking towards Gustavs’ door. But, just before he knocked, he could hear Sris’ muffled voice.

“What am I going to do?” She said, barely audible to Bill.

“Whatever you need to do Sri. I’m not going to tell you what to do, I mean… You’ve been with Tom for 3 years, and you’ve grown to be like a sister to me.”

“He said he loved me…”

“It’s just piecing the pieces together Sri.”

“What is that suppose to mean?” he said, confused.

“Bill honestly loves you, everyone can see that. And so does Tom, I mean, he have up his reputation to be with you.”

“Gustav. I don’t know what to do…”

Before Gustav could reply, Bill knocked on the door. “Hey, I got this letter for you.” He said, waiting for Gustav to open the door.

“Come in here,” Gustav said as he pulled Bill in, and walked out. “You two need to talk.”

After a brief awkwardness, Bill spoke, never daring to look at Sris’ face. He didn’t want her to see the lie written all over it. “Uhm… I’m really sorry about today… okay? I didn’t mean it.”

“Bill… I don’t know what to say right now, in all honesty. I want you to know that you mean a lot to me, and I never want to lose you. Let’s just make this trip fun okay? And we can sort everything out later.” Said Sri, getting up and opening to the door, to reveal Georg and Gustav listening. “I thought so.” She said, patting both their heads and walking down the hall.

“Here.” Bill said, handing Georg and Gustav the last two letters, and walking out the door.


“What’s going on?” Georg asked, sitting down in Gustavs’ room.

“Bill finally said it.” Gustav said, opening his letter.

“… Said IT?” Georg replied, opening his too.

“Yeah, it. Who is Sai?” Gustav said, changing the subject.

“I don’t know… it seems similar to Sris’ name…”

“Just a letter. Oh well, let’s go ask the others’ about it.” Gustav rose and opened the door, following Georg out, and down the hall.

“It’s us.” Georg said, knocking on Toms’ door.

“What?” Said Tom, opening the door.

“What is this?” Said Gustav, gesturing towards the letter.

“I don’t even know, Bill gave them to us a while ago.” Tom said, scratching his head, and offering the let the two men in.

“No, We’re going out to eat, get dressed.”

“I’m not in the mood, I’ll get room service.” Tom said, trying to shut the door before Gustav stopped him with his hand.

“Don’t handle it like this Tom, let’s just have fun while we are here, okay?”

“I don’t know… where’s Sri?” He said, looking out into the hall.

“I don’t know… where’s Bill?” Georg said, slightly panicked from Toms’ expression.

“I swear to god.” He said, throwing a jacket over his lean body and pulling pants on in a rush. “Let’s go.”

“Where are we going?” Georg called, following the rushing Tom and Gustav.

“Bill is probably drinking, and Sri is probably walking around. I don’t want Bill to do something stupid.” Tom said, slamming their rental cars’ door shut, and jamming the keys into the provided slot.

“What about Sri?” Gustav asked. Sri had always been very important to him, like his little sister. He loved her very much.

“She’s fine, I know her. She’s just clearing her head.” Tom muttered, parking in the nearest bar parking lot.

“There he is.” Said Georg, pointing to a lanky man, with long hair pulled out of his face, and a shot glass in front of him.

“Bill.” Tom said, pulling his brother from the bar.

”Tom? TOM!” Bill said, obviously drunk. “Tom.”

“Bill, let’s go back to the hotel, okay?” Tom said, slugging his brother over one arm, while Georg did the same with the other arm.


“Tom, you know I love you man, tom!” said Bill, as Tom placed him on his bed.

“I know Bill, I know. God, you’re so stupid.” He said, changing his brothers’ clothes and cleaning him up.

“I love her Tom, I’m sorry, But I love you more Tom!” Bill slurred. Then, although his feet didn’t care him very far, he made a slight effort to hit the bathroom, but instead met the floor, and vomited in the nearest trashcan he could reach, and all over himself, and clean clothes.

“God Bill, you’re pathetic.” Tom muttered, pulling his little brothers’ hair back as Bill emptied the contents of his stomach.

“Sri…” Bill and Tom muttered, as she walked out of the bathroom looking absolutely stunning.

“You look beautiful.” Gustav said, breaking the tension that Bill and Tom had both provided for each other.

“Thank you Gusti!” She said, kissing his cheek. “You look awfully handsome yourself.”

“Can we go now?” Georg said.

“You always ruin moments Georg, you know that?” Sri muttered, hitting him in the stomach.

”That’s what I live for!” He said, patting her head.

“You’ll ruin my hair!” She yelled.

“Why are you so dolled up anyway?” Georg replied, patting her again.

“The same reason you’re in a tux.” She said, scuffling his hair in return.

“Because Gustav told you too?” he said, earning himself a slap on the head from Gustav.

“No, because it said a formal affair on the invitation.” She replied, opening the door. “Can we go now? And pick your jaws up off of the floor, you look silly.” She turned to Bill and Tom, who both flushed red.

“I hate going places.” Georg muttered, walking into the lobby with everyone else.

“Suck it up!” Said Tom, as the same young lady who had greeted Bill with letters several days earlier strolled up.

“Your limo is here.”

“Limo?” They all said, turning to one another. They turned back towards her for an explanation, only to find she was gone.

“She did that last time too.”

“Last time?” Everyone said, turning to Bill.

“She’s the one who gave me the letters.”

“Speaking of which… how did you know whose were whose? They didn’t have any names on them.” Sri said.

“Uhm… I don’t know, I just passed them out. Got lucky I guess.” Bill replied, walking outside with everyone to find a limo waiting for the group.

“The Great Sai welcomes you.” Said a man in black, opening the door to the car.

“Uhmm… thanks.” They all replied, unsure of what to say. They were very confused on who Sai was, and why he or she was so great.

“Maybe… Maybe we shouldn’t go…” Gustav said, last to get into the car.

“Come on Gustav! It’s going to be fun!” Georg said, patting the seat next to him, gesturing for Gustav to sit.

“Yeah…” Gustav said. He didn’t want to be the killjoy; he wanted everyone to have a fun time. He knew full well that everyone needed it. But, deep in the pit of his stomach, he knew this was a bad idea.
