EDIT: 13. Animated .gif images are not allowed in signatures UNLESS they are official Tokio Hotel or Total Assault released .gifs.

Meh, I dunno. I'd like to have an animated signature, but in all fairness some peoples internet connection isn't that good, so the computer freezes up loading the page, or it just takes forever to load. On the British forum, they use animated signatures and when I'm on it using my laptop, my computer just freaks out. So yeah, I guess that's why they're not allowed. "/

Animated avatars are allowed, they just have to be 14kb or smaller.

Krissie (I assume?) is spot on on why we don't allowed animated signatures. One 100x100 gif can be anywhere from 15 to 300 or MORE frames. That's a lot for someone to have to load, and there could be up to FIFTEEN of those in ONE signature and still have it be of size. That would take ages to load. O_O
