LMAO I think that's what most girls aim for when they wear heels. To look more elongated (wtf am I using that word ) and to have their butts look perkier (another word I find strange, lol).
I'm okay with heels as long as they're not too crazy-looking and if they don't go beyond 4 inches. I wonder how some girls pull off like, 6-inch heels and even 8-inch heels. I wouldn't be able to take a step forwards before I fall on my a$$. And most heels hurt like h*ll.

TELL me about it. The best is when they go shopping and they're like trotting/hobbling or whatever you call it (definitely NOT walking) and they have these scrunched up looks on their faces and it's just so AMUSING to see them waste a perfectly great shopping trip because they're busy paying more attention to walking right than actually shopping. PFFFTT.
I'm not a sneaker person either though, so if I know I'm gonna do a lot of walking I'm usually in pretty sandals or flats so that I'm comfy and my feet look somewhat pretty.

I have long thick athletic legs with some junk in the trunk but too bad I have no hips

haha yeah I've been wearing leggings and stretchy pants more often lately. I give up with the whole jean thing
with me it's like... I'll put on these cute jeans and slide them up my legs and it's going perfectly and then they get snug at my hips and I can't button them up very well and if I tried it'd give me like... a skinny girl muffin top situation which is never attractive on anyone LMFAO. so most of the time I have to buy jeans with good stretch or a size or 2 bigger than my legs really are to compensate for these dayum child bearing hips and Kim K asss

I gave up on jeans. i mean, there are some exceptions. The perfect pair of jeans is like hitting the lottery, but for the most part i wear only leggings, dresses, and skirts. However, since i have sooo many pairs of jeans, i needed something to do with them.. i cut them up, turned them into shorts, and wear them over fishnets. :)

I don't really like a certain brand of makeup when it comes to things... they are all pretty good if you know how to use them and apply them right in my opinion...
I always hear that MAC is like the best but it's kind of expensive and a store isn't nearby so I would have to order it online (and I have ordered a few things off of there before) and it's just such a hassle to ORDER eyeliner and simple makeup online compared to just going to the drugstore and getting stuff haha. so I only order like special makeup things online from companies like that...

I didn't really care, until I found that one. haha. I was like "What's cheaper?". =p
But I like this one. It's the only one I've used that doesn't smudge under my eyes after I blink a few times. hahaha.
And it's A LOT smaller than other eyeliners, so I find it easier to put on.
But where I am right now (my grandma's house), Walgreens has it going for like, 8 bucks (I think I got mine in FL for around 5). So...I had to get *goes to check* 'Maybeline New York, define-a-line' for like, 6 bucks. haha. I use it sometimes, but dislike it a bit because it's SOOOO smudgy and it makes me look like a heroin addict by the end of the day if I forget to fix it.
But my mom went out and got me 'Jordana, easy liner' (never heard of it), and I like it. It doesn't smudge nearly as much. xD

I think I usually use Maybeline black pencil eyeliner. and when I wanna go for a bolder/more defined look I use this black liquid eyeliner that I have that I'm not sure what the brand is... probably just Maybeline or something as well... haha. always BLACK eyeliner though! oh and I have a white eyeliner pencil too that I sometimes use for little highlights or whatever... and I'm not much a fan of brown/more subtle eyeliner. I like it black! haha

I've never used liquid eyeliner. But I love the way it looks, and want to get some. =p
And I only used a legit pencil when I first started whearing make up in like, 7th grade. hahaha.
I use the retractable or mechanical-type ones.
Less sharpening. xD

haha! yeah idk I've used those mechanical ones too but I really like the pencil though... it seems like I can press down harder and get more of it on with the pencil for some reason haha. maybe I just got a crap mechanical one that one time who knows...
and liquid is sweet! gotta be more careful with it though when applying and let it dry... and don't apply it too close to your eyes or else some of it will like... leak into your eye! haha! that's happened to me a few times... cuz I like to do my waterline on the bottom... it doesn't really hurt though cuz my eyes are like used to pain and things going in it from so many years wearing contacts and stuff haha.
omg LOL have you ever poked yourself in the eye with an eyeliner pencil or mascara wand? UUUGH I do that sometimes. when I'm in a hurry or don't have contacts in...

Oh my god, hahaha.
So for school, I ended up doing my make up in the car when my mom drove me to my bus stop quite a bit, and a lot of the times, I'd forget that we had to go over like, 5 speed bumps and I'd jab myself in the eye.
Sucks. xD
I don't usually wear mascara, but when I do, sometimes I scratch my eye with the brissels. It stings. hahaha.
I normally just put on eyeliner and eye shadow.
No lipstick or powder or anything.

lipstick <333
I'm not a big fan of lipgloss. I just like lip stick/lip stain/lip tint... actually I don't usually wear anything on my lips. just lip balm or chapstick cuz I'm like totally obsessed with my lips being moisturized and if they are just a little dry I go crazy and can't stop licking them and probably look like a wh.ore ahahaha
here's my 'everyday', quick makeup look - undereye concealer, foundation, some eyeshadow, eyeliner, curl eyelashes with an eyelash curler (it's a MUST! haha), mascara, lip balm, face powder... takes like 10 minutes! haha. and if I'm REEEAALLYYY in a hurry it's just concealer, foundation, eyeliner, eyelash curler, mascara... haha.
I think eyeliner is the most important though... most people look different if you just take away the eyeliner... haha
and don't even get me started if I'm going out somewhere special or for the night with my makeup! haha!

The best mascara I've ever used is the original maybelline one...that is definitely my go-to mascara...makes my lashes look awesome
MAC has great pencil eyeliners....smooth with great color but I also like the Covergirl retractable eyeliners
NYX has great eyeshadow....many many colors
I have such an abundance of dresses now...it's kinda ridiculous actually
I've pretty much given up on jeans too....plus it doesn't get too cold in AZ so not much of a loss for me

I spend a long time on my makeup in the morning. I find makeup theraputic. I wake up early just so i can have time. lol It takes me a while to get ready in the morning. I have to take a shower the night before, because it would take a rediculous amount of time for me to dry & style my hair in the morning if i washed it then.
I am freaked out by eyelash curlers though. My eyelashes are already really long, so it doesen't do anything for me at all. And i guess it just weirds me out.. they remind me of scissors lol

haha I love doing makeup but I don't like doing ANYTHING in the morning! hahaha! I'm terrible for that... and I like sleeping waaaaaaay too much! so if I have to get up early for school or something... most of the time I don't spend time on my makeup and just do my quick easy look... especially cuz most of the time I sleep in/lay there and hit the snooze button until the very last second I can do it and then I have to rush like helll
and I most certainly could not dry and style my hair at night and then wake up in the morning having it look fine... haha! it'll be sticking up and ratted like WOAH cuz I like wrap my head in the sheets and move around a lot in my sleep...
and I love my eyelash curler! it just kinda makes your eyelashes/eyes pop a little more.

I think my eyes would be less irritated by makeup if I didn't wear contacts but I prefer them over glasses...which I only wear at night or on occasion...and I'm definitely not letting a laser near my eyes

i'm not a huge fan of fashion, but i adore make up..
i never really use eye liner pencils or liquid liner.. i have black eye shadow that i just mix saline with and put on with a liner brush.. i don't often line my eyes in black though.. if i do use black liner, i usually only put a thin line along my top lashes.. i think lining my whole eye with black makes them appear smaller..
my "go to" make up tends to be some tinted moisturizer and bisque (concealer) where ever i may need it.. mostly just under my eyes so it looks like i've slept.. then i usually just curl my eyelashes, put on some black mascara, and then a pearl-ish color in the corner of my eyes.. that's if i'm trying to be quick and feeling lazy..
if i'm going all out i'll bother with foundation, warmth (bronzer.. i don't use blush often..), some sort of eye shadow (i tend to like greens, purples, and goldish browns), and i'll often line my water line with white liner.. and i still use the pearl color in the corners of my eyes.. that and the white liner make your eyes appear wider.. and curled lashes and mascara..
most of my make up comes from bare escentuals..
i prefer ulta to sephora..
my current mascara of choice is the cover girl exact eyelights kind for hazel eyes..
i'm not a fan of lipstick.. i tend to just use chapstick (bert's bees) and some clear or lightly tinded gloss..
oh, and i completely agree that eyelash curlers are a must have..

Proactive never worked for me either, but maybe that's because I tend to break out just before my period, but I've never found a decent acne wash.
And since we don't have a Sephora or Ulta stores up here, I usually buy my makeup at Wal-Mart, although I do like Sally Beauty Supply.
Foundation/ Concealer - Cover Girl True Blend Minerals.
Powder- this loose mineral stuff I got at Sally Beauty, it cuts down on the redness since my skin gets really red.
Eyeshadow- depends
Eyeliner- Maybeline Expert Wear in Ebony Black
Mascara- I'm a mascara *****, I buy so much of it, its insane. But I have really watery eyes and wear contacts, so I like waterproof, but its hard to find one that washes off easily without making my eyes all red and raw. I just bought Rimmel London Lash Maxx I think its called, and I hate the bristle brushes, they have to be either a comb or the rubber brush.
And I like chapstick, I own so much of it, Cover Girl lip stain, and their lipgloss.

Take a Dixie cup or whatever and put some baking soda in it, then add enough water to make a pasty sort of mixture... spread that all over your face and leave it on for ten minutes, then wash it off with water! Such an awesomely cheap exfoliator!
One thing I do every single day after I get out of the shower or bathtub is to apply petroleum jelly on my lips, like it is lip gloss... ever since I've been doing that *which has been approximately a year and a half*, I honestly cannot recall having chapped lips!
Haha, and last thing... my friend and I were in Walgreens a few months ago, and she urged me to purchase this $2.00 liquid eyeliner, called InColor FabuLiner (http://www.walgreens.com/store/store/product/product_details.jsp?skuId=sku5429812&id=prod5430945)... I'm so glad I listened to her and bought it, since this eyeliner can last for at least two months, and has a super helpful felt-tip applier which glides on your eyelids awesome! Best cheap eyeliner ever!

About acne and stuff- i believe it lies in nutrition. Most people are intolerant to milk/grains + lacking in some vitamins+ too much sugary food-that will cause acne..Its always good to know what you are allergic/intolerant to when it comes to that problem.Food influences hormones as well, so we can say indeed that it is hormonal.
But once the skin is damaged i suggest putting something with a-vitamin on your skin.I know they sell those more concentrated creams in US, but ofcourse its forbidden here.As always.

Soda will harm your tooth enamel.Been there, done that.:s You will regret later.
For teeth, but not for whitening it, i suggest kxylitol. It helps to keep the teeth healthy, it even helps to heal the cavities.Although it is sugar, thats really weird.Thats why they put it in chewing gums.

(I think this country is going so downhill it's not even funny... in 50 or 60 years it's gonna be way polluted with oil and garbage and it's gonna be overrun by obese people and stupid, ignorant people and we'll be owned by China. and there will STILL be rednecky people who think we're the best country in the world LOLLLL)

agreed. i'd go to canada but that means i'm not american anymore. you can't dual citizenship with them at all. the US is that greedy with our people. it's like having a pet you don't really want to take care of. we already don't even help ourselves, it's always everyone else first. i know this is going to sound harsh but we need to take care of our own people first, then reach out to everyone else. meanwhile we're being laughed at for our failing juggling act.

i sometimes put a tiny bit of avocado oil in my hair.. just a few drops..
it makes it extremely shiny and helps my hair to curl nice since it adds moisture without feeling greasy..
you should be able to find it at any natural herb shop.. (i also like to buy little things of orange oil from there.. combing a little through your hair makes it smell good the entire day.. i adore citrus..)
the avocado oil is also nice for really dry skin.. you can add a bit to a warm bath or put a little on after a shower..
i'm not extremely picky about shampoos.. i tend to use ones that help protect colored hair, but i haven't dyed my hair recently so i'm not too concerned.. as far as conditioners go, i like the aussie's three minute miracle, pantene ice shine or whatever it's called, and the little tubes you get with hair dye lol..
i don't use too many products in my hair.. things like gel and hairspray annoy me..
i usually just use some leave in conditioner (garnier fructis sleek and shine) if i'm leaving it to dry curly.. if i want to straighten it, i also use a spray to protect my hair from heat damage and some smoothing cream.. i use suave's knock off of the matrix sleek looks line..
perfumes i tend to be pretty picky about.. i don't like really over powering scents..
i do like love spell from victoria's secret and mango mandarin by bath and body works.. i also like anything that smells like a fresh squeezed lemon, but i can't ever find anything.. ugh..

I love Garnier Fructis stuff! you know... when being trained to be a cosmetologist they try to shove all this stuff saying professional products are better blah blah... and they are good... but I still really love some over the counter things and I LOVE my Garnier Fructis haha! I think it smells the best, and it's good for thick hair prone to poofing like mine haha cuz it's a kind of heavier shampoo/conditioner, and it just seems to work with my hair the best idk...

but I wonder if I might hate it...*stupid*...hehe
you can get long layers and maybe a side bang.. they wont really take away your length, but it will add a slight change that you might like..
and you should always get the ends trimmed.. that actually helps it grow in nice..
i totally understand being afraid of hating it though.. i'm a total chicken about cutting my hair.. i had my hair half way down my back for like nine years and recently just eight inches off and got bangs.. it was shocking, but kind of refreshing.. i got all of the dead cut off and the lower layer was always slightly darker from being dyed black a year ago.. so, it kind of gave my hair a fresh start..
hair always grows back..

I like having longer hair cuz it weighs it down and makes it more... what's a good word... graceful of a wave and texture! haha!

i cut mine to right above my shoulders.. it was really weird, but my hair needed it.. i've colored removed and dyed my hair SO many times that it really was damaged.. so, it was worth it..
would i cut my hair this short again? no, i don't think so.. i miss having long hair..
it curls best at a certain length and i miss it being long..
i hate not being able to pull all of my hair up.. i have to clip the underneath still and it bugs me lol..
what always makes me laugh when people cut a lot of their hair off though is adjusting to using a different amount of shampoo.. you always use this huge glob at first and then you're like, "ugh, wtf.. this is wayyy too much.." lol..

that whole salon brand thing isn't really a secret though. it's kind of obvious.
and yeah, hair does cost a lot to get done. and as far as i know it always is but maybe that's because i have "ethnic" hair. $60+ dollars. $60 is considered cheap even for short "ethnic" hair and that is not including tip.
you definitely speak the truth.
it's really terrible how expensive a salon visit can be
My junior year of prom....$120(includ. tip) to get my hair done...ridiculous
the worst part....I didn't even really like it( I got temporary extensions)
I've only had like 2 salon experiences where I left the salon and was more than satisfied with how my hair turned out
O and I've heard that the Brazilian Blowout yields incredible results
I got my hair deep-conditioned last week....$40 *pulls at hair*

omg i love that hair. my hair used to be naturally perfect, but i screwed it with a 14 inch strap-on, for real. my hair was purple and then red and then blue and then green. once it was yellow - like yellow yellow. then i took a break to let my hair heal, but then i dyed it a natural red like that color in the photo... *sigh* when i stopped dying it, i thought id be nicer to my hair. but i noticed my hair starting to turn grey. but its not an old grey, it looks like strands of tinsel which is crazy noticeable in my brown hair. so now i must dye it anyway...
does anyone know a less damaging way i could cover up my tinsel strands?

June 25th, 2010, 01:16 PM
The color I dye it is like a professional-brand lightish-purpley-red kind of color. haha.
Before that I was dying it deep auburn.
I would go bright red, or come to think of it: any non-natural colors, but most of the ones I see for bright red or blue and stuff are semi-permanent. And I don't like having to do too much up-keep on my color.
I could get it done at a salon, but I don't have the kind of money to go back and get it done again every 6 weeks.
Ugh, I wish colors like purple and blue and stuff weren't semi-permanent. =/
Guess I'll stick with the red for my all-over color.
But I could add streaks. Any ideas?

just ignore the obvious chest display that's just how they sell things at Frederick's of Hollywood XD i hit myself for not getting it when it was on sale at one point.
they have a sale on it but the pattern is some overplayed animal print that nobody wants anymore

Any ideas?
I looovveee red hair with black streaks/black hair with red streaks. I love those two colors together. I have black hair, and i'm thinking of getting red on the ends..?

You don't need a piercing :3
They're like these little things you twist in the shape of your ear.

ooo that's even better
i still want to know what Prince's earrings are though. i'm pretty sure it's the symbol for male. he makes that so obvious XD from the looks of it, his were actually in a piercing so idk.

Yeah, I thought of that for the longest time....then my mom dyed her hair black and a year later, it's still not out. =/
She's dyed it twice to lighten the black, but all it's dyed is her roots. haha. It looks kinda funny. xD
But maybe streaks wouldn't be as bad...Hmmm...

i usually just go with chapstick
only other gloss i've actually used is some cheap black gloss and
Mary Kay Nourishine. the Sweet Raisin is a kind of orange look on my lips so i'm pretty addicted to that. it's way cheaper on either ebay or amazon. ihdr where but i'm pretty sure i searched it on ebay. i remember the colour scheme XD
better to pay less than $5 with shipping and handling than $13 directly from Mary Kay

I don't usually wear lipgloss, maybe just chapstick...
But sometimes I prefer....clear lipgloss...
Red lipstick is never too much...

Red lipstick is always hot. It's very intense, yet very classic.
