1.it's easier to get the tickets.although the tickets are for sale (unlike with world stage where you only get the tickets for free), at least people don't have to sit their butts off for hours just to try their luck on a stupid contest no one ever seems to win.it would save them a lot of time and would save them from being visually impaired too.

2. Look at that AWESOME line up! Orianthi, 30STM, Smashing Pumpkins...you are sure to get the best value for your money.

I agree with Sam. I would love if they would put Smashing Pumpkins, TH and 30STM on the same day but oh well. I think the first day is lined up that way to supposedly attract the younger crowd.

It is sort of pricey, I have to agree. SingFest is a pretty big deal in Singapore, I've heard so perhaps that's why. I'm definitely going for Day 1 and Day 2, though. :)

It sucks so bad when TH just don't confirm even the dates. Surely you KNOW them already, don't you? I mean, you need visas, hotels & plane tickets, too, right? Then WHY DON'T YOU CONFIRM?

It's very, very stupid and unconcidered policy to leave confirming and announcing to the third parties (record companies, news papers, radios... ). How do TH expect that people come to see them if people don't een know that they are going to perform? How do they expect people to arrange their traveling if they leave it to the last week (or not even that: when TH made asian promo tour, they had NOT A SINGLE WORD about it on their homepage. WTF is that?).

I can't make any good reason to not confirm the dates on their web site (they've done it before, right?), so if you have any, please inform me?

I can never understand overnight lining up for a signing? If you have a pass, you'll get autographs. Whether you're first in line or last, you'll have what you came for. Sleeping overnight at the venue makes no sense to me.

In this case I don't understand it either.

But it's interesting to follow how this... this fan behavior follows the band around the world. I think it's the internet. New fans learn "the fandom habits" from the old ones and I think the CFF'ing and hysteria follows the same pattern. I wonbder if this behavior would appear if fandoms were separated? Now it's clearly learning by watching.

Also this lining up hours & days before is a deeply rooted habit. No matter what is the situation, you just seems to have to be in a line at leaat few hours before. I strongly think that if the signing session in Finland would have taken place back in March, I would have been terribly late with my schedule of around 5 hrs before. Even if people were in a queue for two places at the same time (signing & venue).

Hmm, we don't get passes for signing sessions over here. Like the one they did in Malaysia back in May, no passes were given out, and they only allocated 1 hour for signing. So it was basically a first-come-first-served basis. Which was why fans started queuing hours and hours before the session was scheduled to start.

Nope, no passes. Basically all we needed was ONE copy of the Humanoid CD and it was fair game for all. There was no priority line either. Thankfully the boys and their management were really nice and signed for everyone, though. :) It did go slightly over an hour but it was a very well-organized and efficient session.

No, the first annoucement stated fans had to purchase a special edition of Humanoid that came with a signing pass. Even if a fan had a previous CD, it wouldn't allow them to have access to the signing.


Note: Tokio Hotel will only autograph on the Humanoid Special Edition Slipcase, that is for yours to keep. Hence, do remember to bring along the slipcase for the autograph session!

Singfest came a bit out of nowhere and WorldStage got much more exciting buzz floating around. I guess this was a bit "forgotten" because of that. I had a great time, though, but the lack of incoming info made is a bit... quick, maybe? They just came on stage, performed and it was over before we had even time to prepare & warm ourselves up. It was a bit different than Worldstage.

Reminds me of Humanoid Tour, when I spend day after day trying to catch real time events and I was exhausted after 2 months. No band should be worth that much work - but yet I feel no regrets at all

Also, they were already starting late. Someone said they're scheduled time was around 9pm-ish, but what I noticed, they got an stage almost half on hour late. If they were booked for 1 hour concert, they had to cut out couple songs to stay on time (and still they ended probably 10 minures late). It's actually really strict on festivals like that in here. You have your time and nothing more. No encores or anything, because of the schedules.

I understand leaving Zoom into me away - come on! Dragging a piano on a place & stage like that? The motorcycle was already something I didn't expect.

You seem to hear that that happens a lot. I think it's really wrong. There is little to no excuse for going on a half an hour or hour late. There are stories of riots starting because acts were so late.

agreed! a band is like one company, one enterprise equipped with management and staff who have to make sure that things like being late doesnt happen.. especially when the event is being paid for by fans who saved up some of their hard earned money just to see them..

from what I read on twitter more than a week ago, TH was supposed to have a 90min set. and the lineup did not include The Like. It was supposed to be just WonderGirls, Orianthi, TH and Katy Perry. But, an opening act was incl. plus an additional act to the line up. So, I guess TH's original stage time was cut short?

I think TH had a shorter set because two more acts were added to the line up; an opening act and another band that played more than song. It was originally just four artists: WonderGirls, Orianthi, Tokio Hotel and Katy Perry.

I wasn't a fan of TH when the Katy Perry/MTV awards drama went down so it kinda passed me by; I didn't have particularly strong feelings about her either way. I like her music and I think she's pretty in her own way, but I've never got the feeling that she's a particularly nice person.

Whatever the reasons behind her saying what she said (or didn't say- I haven't seen the video) were at very least disrespectful, especially in front of the TH fans.
