Bill & Tom did a photoshoot with Italian Vogue while they were in Catania on July 17th. They will be on October's issue of the magazine.

I don't know how the info leaked last week. But, it could have been due to inside info getting into the hands of a TH fan. And, that is why it ended up on twitter.

While Tokio Hotel is on hiatus, Bill and Tom are out hustling on the streets. All there designer gear doesn't come for free, so they are looking for different ways to get paid, since their bills are stacked high.

i don't think the G's will be that bothered they're not in the shoot. i've always got the feeling that they're more than happy for bill and tom to front the band- it lets them live a freer life. although i still don't understand why it can't just be a kaulitz special as opposed to a TH special...

i hope the styling won't be like the GQ styling. i wasn't a fan of the blue. but i wouldn't mind bill in another top hat :grin:

Parents' divorce and new marriages don't affect on children's names directly meaning that the last name is what is mentioned in their identity papers they got when they were born. Nah, their dad's name is Kaulitz, their stepdad's Trümper, so that can't be it. I think it's just false information, it wouldn't make any sense for them to be called Kaulitz-Trümper unless their stepdad had adopted them, which I don't think he has. *shrug*

i would assume that Simone changed her surname to Trumper. maybe Tom and Bill hyphanated their surnames so they still had part of their mother's name as their name? Maybe hopefull I might be able to get the magazine. A couple a weeks ago I saw in this local bookstore near campus Italian Vouge. So hopefully in October I'll check and see if they still sell Italian Vogue. If not then I may go out to a Barnes and Noble thats 15-20 minutes away from my house that sells foreign Vogues.

That, or the photographers simply see the dominant side in Bill and play with it. In the German GQ shoot, Bill was towering over Tom in that one photo and I bet Bill loves being in a position like that. But I too wondered if it's the twins themselves who wanted to pose like that. Then again, I don't really think so, cause in photoshoots it's usually the photographer who tells you how to pose.

And I'm often annoyed that TH Wonderland don't give sources when they post stuff like that. I like their site, it's the one I usually use, but yeah... they should work on that.

Apart from that, I'm really looking forward to some new eye candy. :grin:

I don't think twins have any sort of problems with "twincestual" poses like that. They know their fandom and they just probably shrug to it and decide to give some candy to make girls scream a bit louder.

I don't know if they themselves are offering those, but they seem to be very comfortable with it. They do it on stage and photos where there weren't anyone to tell them to. They lok very comfortable and are generally not afraid to be close, touch somehow or pose in suggestive poses (ordered by others or not).

I also wonder how/why photographers come up with these poses... They know they are brothers, right? Who says that let's make brothers posing in implying ways? I would love to find the origin of those poses, because I don't think it's the most common thing to come up when taking pics of brothers in a first place.

Anywayk, who ever takes the first step, twins seem to have no problem with it.

I absolutely adore Bill's very feminine way to pose and be there. There is that certain masculinity in him, but all the other signals are very feminine. It's hard to say because the picture is so small and blurry, but from his clothes to the pose of his feet are very.... feminine. I love it how Bill is not afraid to do these gender trips. I really want to see it in bigger size.

And Tom's poses are going to bolder or.... more describing direction. They are somehow more describtive these days (thanks to photographers?).

I don't know who designs photo shoots but sometimes it feels to me like they're going for overkill. Like the designer can't accept that Bill is pretty much perfect the way he is. Like they need to prove that they've earned their salary by slathering on the make-up, messing with his hair, putting him in weird clothes and weirder poses.

It is true that at least these two have been very repetative and I hope the rest have some sort of variety in them. I guess that staged so obviously is some kind of THING here, so I don't know. The environment is meant to it to me. From that sense I loved Stern pics the most and still keep it as the best photoshoot ever. Too bad it was only about Bill, but anyway.

Twins look good and especially the play with femininity in that one picture is interesting. It gives surprisingly strong vibes of dominant and submissive.... even... how to say it without making it sound wrong. Tom's place, pose and all resembles almost as position of Bill's dog, like at the other end of Bill's leash. But I'm very careful with that interpretation, because I'm aware of how strongl mental image I have of them and I know it affects on my way to see these pics.

Anyway, I'll wait for the rest of the pics, but it becomes obvious that Bill is wan ted to be shown as a strong, dominant character. Tom's role is still a mystery to me, because from the dominant role in that cover pic to a "pimp!Tom" in that second pic to eventually very submissive in a third one his role is way more versatile.

Considering their success, with a million records sold worldwide (the most recent, Humanoid, on the Universal label, having come out exactly a year ago), it would seem natural for these two young fellows - who have done so much at such a young age - to take everything for granted. And instead it's just the opposite: they seem shocked to find themselves here. "This palace is magnificent, an artistic treasure.
