Yeah, see, cause that's a swear word and we don't do swearing on the forum. This bit of forum isn't for swear words (we kind of already know about those, since I punched most of them in myself), but for words that make your post not go through. If it comes up as asterisks, that's purposeful.

I just spent three hours trying to figure out what word was blocking me from posting the latest chapter of my fanfiction. The result?
Domina/trix.
Maybe that should have been obvious, but since it is not a swear word, it never occurred to me that the forum might block it.

Once again, it's not swear words that the SERVER blocks. Swear words are blocked by the forum because they were added to the swear filter. Words that the server blocks are generally words used in ads for...less reputable things, if you get my meaning.
Also, why are you posting about a dom on the forum? Am I gonna have to go content check this story? *eyebrow raaaaise*

Oh good heavens, no! It was just a passing mention, not the main subject. The story is strictly PG-13, and a relatively mild PG-13 at that. I try to be a good little forum denizen. *polishes halo*
Anyway, thanks for clarifying the server versus forum confusion. Now I know!
