Information for parents & possible scenarios:
During Tokio Hotel’s concert on Thursday, August 27th, NOKIA will also set up a special area where parents may stay throughout the concert. Please take the time now to review the following cases which should give answers to the most common questions:
Lisa (13) has won tickets to the concert. How can she attend?
Lisa is younger than 14 years of age and therefore she needs to bring someone along who will watch her at all times. This may be the legal guardian (usually mother / father) who will have to stay with the child throughout the whole concert so ensure that the child is safe at all times. This is madatory as Lisa is younger than 14 years old.
Lisa may also attend the concert with another person as long as Lisa’s parents authorized that person in writing to supervise her. This person needs to be at least 18 years old and have a trustworthy apperance. Lisa’s parent’s need to fill out this form which the supervisor needs to bring along (unfortunately only available in German).
Bianca (15) won a ticket and wants bring her mother as her companion. Is there anything she needs to keep in mind?
Bianca is younger than 16, but over 14 years old. This means that her mother or an authorized supervisor needs to accompany Bianca. However, this person does not nescessarily need to attend the concert itself but may stay in the NOKIA section for parents throughout the event.
Katrin (15) won a ticket and wants to bring Linda (15) along to the concert. Does that work?
This is possible under two circumstances: If Katrin wants to attend the concert with a friend that is older than 14 years but younger than 16, an authorized supervisor needs to come along. He or she needs to wait in the NOKIA section for parents. It may be one of Katrin’s parents or the mother / father of Linda. It is crucial, that both parents – the ones of Katrin and the ones of Linda fill out the form provided by the city of Cologne to authorize the parent coming along to the concert to supervise the respective other child.
Marie (17) won tickets and she wants to bring Sara (16). Might there be any problems?
No, both of them are 16 years or older and my attend the event without any restrictions.
Susanne (18) won a ticket but her companion Andrea is only 15 years old. What does she need to do?
Since Susanne is alredy 18 years old, she could be the authorized supervisor for Andrea. However, Andrea’s parents need to fill out this form.
